West Coast Heating and Air is the best HVAC company in San Diego. I would like to give high praise to Nick Augustine who recently performed a full evaluation of our heating system and also cleaned the coils on our AC condenser. He was pleasant, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose and solve a long standing problem we had with the thermostat. Changing the temperature was a slow, tedious process because of a lag after every up or down arrow press. Nine years ago West Coast Heating and Air installed a new Trane HVAC system. It is quiet, efficient and is working perfectly. I highly recommend this company.

Scheduled appointment for regular maintenance check of furnace. Prior to appointment, thermostat indicated issue with wiring. I called to let West Coast know to please have tech add to service call. Tanner came out to do regular maintenance check on furnace. He did a great job identifying issue. Fix and maintenance taken care of in one visit! Weather has been hot, so we are very happy! I have only had great experiences with this West Coast. I am subscribed to the West Coast Club and was serviced by Volodymyr. Volodymyr is expectional. He took pictures of each of the test measurments he took as well as the ideal specification on the equipement to show me what was doing well and what might need improvement. Very thorough, knowlegable, and personable. I opted to take advantage of an upgrade and he had it installed in no time. He also showed me the "after" test results and the improvement was massive. I am confident that the West Coast Club will be worth the money adding years of life to my system. I could not be happier that I have Volodymyr taking care of things in my home. Thank you so much!

Best HVAC experience ever!
David’s knowledge and expertise were a real asset during my most recent maintenance appointment. Not only did he do an incredible (and very thorough) job inspecting and cleaning the system, but he made sure I was very well informed and educated about how the system worked and any changes that might be beneficial relative to my living conditions and individual needs. Aside from that, he’s very friendly and I felt at ease the entire time — a big deal considering that it’s always a bit awkward having a stranger in your home.

We are extremely satisfied and happy with the work West Coast did at our home. They installed a new water heater and heating and cooling system. Each stage of the process (estimate, work plan summary, and installation) was done with professionalism, courtesy, friendliness, and thoughtfulness! Alex came to our home to look at the space and provide the estimate. He answered all of our questions with patience and came back with a very reasonable quote. The team of workers who did the installations were very respectful of our home. I also appreciated how kind and jovial they were with one another. My only constructive feedback would be to streamline the scheduling system especially for the permit/paperwork portion of the process. There was some confusion on what was needed for the inspectors. This was a very small hiccup, however. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this company!!!!

West Coast Is The Best!
I needed a small fix or 2 on my HVAC system and we called West Coast, our HVAC system provider and maintenance company. Amanda helped me connect with someone to discuss the issues. I spoke with Mike Anderson who was very helpful, polite and thorough. The fix required a few planned visits. Vlad Shitikov and his colleague Vlad came out twice and did a couple of dye tests. Both Vlads were very polite and helpful. It's pretty hot out, so I know crawling around the attic was no picnic but they both remained positive and pro-active. Charry Ong came out as well to address a leak and did an amazing job. Finally, Nick came out to finish up the project and he , along with his colleague Dima, were great. All of these guys were so helpful, polite and super neat & tidy. Everyone in the office and all the field technicians we have interacted with, have been exceptional. West Coast does NOT disappoint! I highly recommend this company.

I noticed that my A/C wasn’t functioning properly and so I reached out to West Coast and set up an appointment. Max and Alexy came out a few days later.They were both extremely professional, polite, worn shoe covers and were super respectful to my home and property. They did a detailed deep dive into the system and were able to determine that a factory installed part of the system was malfunctioning. They made the part replacement and then spent quite a bit of time to make sure that the system was up and functioning properly.Max and Alexy are great representatives of West Coast. I was very comfortable with both of them in my house and I trusted their diagnosis. I would be happy to have them both here anytime for maintenance or repairs. I have a fairly new system with West Coast and the entire process has been seamless and amazing.

The previous HVAC company I had used for 10 years was bought by another, larger company but I decided to give them a try . Suddenly there was so many repairs/stuff to do and the prices were high. I called West Coast Heating & AC to come out for a 2nd opinion. Sean Doljanac came out and made one small repair and told me that the other repair the previous HVAC company recommended was not necessary (it was a $600.00 repair). I was impressed by Sean, his service and honesty.My furnace is more than 20 years old so I was already thinking about replacing it. Sean worked on a quote for me to replace my HVAC system with a hybrid system compatible with my solar/electric system. I was pleased with the quote and proceeded with the project.Alexey S. came out to do the pre and post inspections. He was polite, efficient, tidy, conscientious and friendly. I was very pleased with his service.Illia was the team leader on the day of the installation. He was also polite, efficient, tidy, conscientious and friendly. The installation was seamless and when they left, everything was perfect. Roma, Mergen and Oleg did a great job on the installation along with Illia. They were all very polite, friendly and hard working. They were super careful with my home and it was a pleasure to have them here.Amanda Briones in the office was excellent about scheduling and communication about the job.The system is working great,. It's brand new so I need some time to see how satisfied I am with it, but I will update the review if something changes.All in all, I was amazingly impressed by West Coast, their pricing, their staff and the commitment to excellence.

So I called West Coast who installed it to reconnect it for me.This is my first time owning a solar and Alexey S did a great job explaining and showing me how it works while waiting for it to connect.
