Great & dedicated customer service.Everyone I have interacted with has been super friendly & helpful. And when an issue or request spans over multiple days, they always make sure to follow up with me and make sure the subject is resolved. Additionally, when I ask lots of questions, they are very patient with me and make sure I am comfortable with my understanding.
I have no relation to this company, and I don't own a vacation home. HOWEVER, earlier this year my credit card was hit with a $7,066 fraudulent charge, causing me great inconvenience. I have no idea who these people are and how they got my info and card number, but it's obviously fraudulent and criminal. I would suggest you find someone else to do business with.
I am a property manager and had a credit card dispute that was going to arbitration, and I had a number of questions before I responded back to the cardholder's bank. I had been working with Cian and asked if he could call me to help with my questions. He immediately responded back and set up a call for the next morning. The next morning, he called and answered all my questions. Since I had him on the phone, I asked about a problem we were having with international credit cards being declined because of an invalid state code. Cian said he did not know the answer but would ask someone else in another department and he would get back to me the next day. When I arrived at work the next day, he had sent me an explanation for the issue and a work around. Cian provided excellent customer service and was a joy to work with.

I am a property manager, so I'm not under the same set of rules as the homeowners using VRBO. For us, the new "wait time" for the money Yapstone collects is about a week to ten days. This was not the case until this year. Our money used to be available the next day, two days at the most. The funding timeframe can be a real issue when handling escrow funds. They also implemented "per transaction" fees so those start to add up when a guest asks for a payment plan.The improvement is in their customer service. The ability to get same day help is invaluable. When a payment needs to be "stopped", there isn't always a way to do that on the website, so customer service is important. They stepped up the game in that area.
Trustpilot is adding the stars. Howelse can the come up with a score of 3 stars out of 3 really bad 1 star reviews? Funny algorithm...Regardless, Yapstone is a bad payment provider, living of interest from money that's not their's.Avoid at all costs.
Yapstone decided to charge an extra 3 % (making 6% in total) to get your money when a guest books and not when they've checked in - apart from being a total rip off having opted into this (I can't operate my rental without money in advance) somehow their opt in service didn't work so they have booking money for several bookings and can't tell me when I'll get it - these people are the very worst of middlemen they do absolutely nothing (it's all automated) and charge crazy amounts for their "service" in some countries this would be called Mafia behaviour - Yapstone are leaches on the vacation rental business ......the only good thing is that other leach on the vacation rental business HomeAway who is Yapstones main customer are in the process of dispensing with Yapstones' service so that will hopefully get rid of one leach at least

OVERNIGHT--W/O NOTICE TO ANYONE--THEY CHANGED IT TO 6%.THEY ARE FORCING US OWNERS TO TAKE IT OR WAIT A YEAR TO RECEIVE YOUR PAYMENTS TO US. NO ONE CAN WAIT A YEAR TO BE PAID. THEY CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD AS YOU BOOK--- AND NOW ARE GOING TO HOLD THE MONEY--AND NOT PAY INTEREST OR ANYTHING.DISGUSTING--AND THEY KNOW THEY HAVE US OWNERS "OVER A BARREL" BECAUSE THEY RUN OUR WEBSITE AND CALENDAR AND ACCOUNTING PROGRAM...
