I took a boat tour

I took a boat tour, and it was overcrowded and uncomfortable. The boat was packed with tourists, leaving little space to move around or enjoy the views. The commentary was difficult to hear over the noise of the crowd, and the guide's attempts to provide information were drowned out. The promised "exclusive" experiences were non-existent, and the overall experience felt rushed and impersonal. I would not recommend this tour if you're looking for a relaxing or informative boat trip.

SCAM

I booked through VRBO for a condo in Floridia. Long story short, this is a very expensive scam. I don't believe Christian even exists. I called the phone number attached and a gentleman hung up on me when I asked him why he was stealing my money. No help from VRBO what so ever. If you ever see a listing from Resort Rental or Christian, save your family alot of heartache and run.

Resort Rental Pros IS A SCAM AND BOGUS…

Resort Rental Pros IS A SCAM AND BOGUS COMPANY. “ Christian “ is a 3rd party and not working for the condo owners. He is taking money and not delivering. He advertises and poses as a condo owner, takes money for vacation and then tries to piece together a vacation. This left us with three separate reservations for a one week stay at a resort. He’s not affiliated with a Resort and he’s not affiliated with the owner. At one point our reservation, parts of it were canceled. Then we’re given a new reservation number for two separate reservations for the week. The day we were arriving we received an email that we had to use the owners name, in order to check in and if we didn’t, our reservation would be canceled we were not supposed to use his name or the third-party, VBRO, as our rental provider. VBRO is aware I called, but they essentially did nothing. He advertises through Expedia as well.Beware!I was in close contact with my resort and they are aware of his activities. They worked with us and we were able to have a vacation. Others who arrived here at the resort thinking they had rented a condo found out that no reservation for them existed. DO NOT TRUST OR USE CHRISTIAN OR RESORT RENTAL PROS!!!!!

Resort Rental Pros is a SCAM

Resort Rental Pros is a SCAM. I booked a place through VRBO that another family member stays at and upon arrival was told I only had booked for half the days. They are not recognized by this resort- La Cabana - and no one could explain what would happen to my final three nights here nor why I was able to get in. They have no contact with the "broker" except that some owners must ask them to book their units for them. but Resort Rental pros accepts money without confirmation of a place to stay and then goes an hunts for one. If they don't find one, I don't know what will happen. they refuse to call me or acknowledge that I will have to move three days before my departure without telling me where I am supposed to move - as if I should have to do so. This is outrageous and La Cabana claims it's not responsible but I also cannot quite believe that

Short term illegal listing

This management company did not check regulations with the facility they listed in and managed this for an owner illegally. The margaritaville hotel by Wyndham in nashville does NOT allow third party short term rentals. Cost me 1000 extra and 2 hours on the phone where the company lied to me on why it was cancelled. I called the hotel and they told me truth. Illegal listing as a third party. Do not book with the Wyndham hotel either as they did not offer a solution for their mistake on not vetting out what is happening in their hotel. I was supposed to show up in 30 hours for my reservation and it was canceled because of poor management done by the Wyndham hotel are not managing their rentals at their facility. They don’t care about this placing a customer and I was forced to book at $200 more a night without them, trying to rectify any situation with the hotel. I will never stay or utilize this company ever again very unfortunate. Spent the last several hours being hung up long and not getting an answer for a mistake they made by not managing the listings of the short term rentals. Property #1917520. Reservation ID36751752

We had reservations during Covid and bc…

We had reservations during Covid and bc members of our party had Covid we had to cancel the reservation. Ah, not so fast. They would only allow us to move it to another date ($1000 deposit at stake and they refused to refund). So, now my husband within the past 4 months had emergency quadruple bypass surgery And hip replacement last week. Doctors won’t clear him in time for our reservation this august, they refuse to even move the reservation to another date! Like it’s $1000 they’ve been holding hostage and they’re like “ sorry for the inconvenience, but go F yourself”. We aren’t rich. My husband has been out of work since January bc of the heart problem they found. DO NOT BOOK ANY VACATION WITH VACATION RENTAL PROS

This company is a Fraud/Scam

This company is a fraud/scam. We booked a place in Wisconsin Dells a few months in advance. Two days (48 hours) before our vacation was to start we received a message from the host named Christian stating that our stay would be cut short by a day. The reason was that the unit owner had made no contact with Resort Rental Pros (because sometimes the owners pass away or sell their unit without notifying the management company-Resort Rental Pros). They then claimed that they found us another place for July 10-14 and would work to find us a place on the 15th. They refused to pay for a place on the 15th (if they find one) and said that we needed to accept their new terms to continue. At first I refused but did so to save the remainder of our trip accepted. This is how I have figured this company is run by scammers:1. Christian is not a real person. When I called and asked to speak to Christian I was told that he was unavailable. When I asked to leave a voicemail for him I was told he has no voicemail. When I asked for Christian's last name i was told they did not have/didn't know his last name. I hope airbnb and Vrbo or any other company doing business with Christian bans Resort Rental Pros from their sites.2. After seeing other reviews, this is how the scam goes. Resort Rental Pros will let you know 48 hours or less that there is a "problem" with the booking. If you cancel you only get 50% of your money back so you are out $600-$700 dollars. You basically have no other choice but to accept their terms or you are out your money and have to find another place at a last minute (expensive) rate. We were told that they were aware of the "problem" 14 days before our vacation but nobody notified us until 48 hours before our vacation. Any property owner doing business with this management company should be ashamed of themselves for doing business with a shady and fraudulent operation like Resort Rental Pros. I can't believe that an attorney general hasn't shut this operation down. As a business law teacher, I know that contracts entered into under false pretenses are not valid. Making a contract with a fake airbnb host seems like fraud to me. This company should be made to refund the money of everyone they have scammed as well as pay punitive damages for the stress they cause. We haven't even left for our vacation yet but feel that it has already been ruined by these scammers.

I would like -5 stars if it was an option. This company is a scam. I called each week to confirm my reservation and they confirmed it each week. To me confirmed means you are good to go. However this is not the case with this company. Booked in January, to arrive in July just to get a text 48 hours before arrival that my room was canceled. The reason is what upsets me which was "we have not been able to reach the owners" How can they confirm and not talk with the owner? Now to wait 5-7 days for a refund.

Horrible Despicable Company

Scam artists. It is 2 days before I am supposed to go on my vacation. I got a "Get ready for your trip" text yesterday. Today they cancelled my reservation with a total BS excuse. Their customer service could care less. When I asked how this is possible they told me they would refund my money and there was NOTHING they could do and then HUNG UP on me. There are no words to describe how despicable a company they are. Buyer beware.!!!!!

Resort Rental Pros is a scam

Resort Rental Pros is a scam. They cancelled our 6-day St. Thomas reservation 48 hours before we were set to arrive. Their customer service is laughable and they do not care because there is no recourse on VRBO; you can only review after your stay. Do NOT rent from this company. I would give them zero starts if possible.

Resort Rental Pros

Resort Rental Pros is awful. They are not a management company, they don’t run resorts. They accept payments and reservations on properties but they don’t actually have access to them. I booked and paid for three nights in North Carolina thru VRBO and Resort Pros is listed as the host. Got a text from Resort Pros day of the trip that we only had two nights booked, not three. Sure enough, we drove 5 hours, showed up and checked in. The actual management company told us at check in we only had two nights booked. Had to find a hotel for the 3rd night. Rental Pros was useless in getting my reservation fixed since they’re only a 3rd party booking agent and don’t run the property. I thought for sure it was a scam. I called their phone # and it’s clearly not an office, They hung up on me twice. Emails are poorly written. It’s shady. I feel lucky I got a refund for my missing night.

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Three days before Christmas, they confirmed my reservation. At 1:30 in the morning two days before Christmas, they cancelled my reservation. I made the reservation and paid for same on October 11, 2021 for a three days trip commencing December 27, 2021. Their excuse is that the owner is not responding to them, yet they continue to advertise and accept payment for reservations for the same property. Absolute BS.

Resort Rental Pros scammed me!

As with everyone else here, Resort Rental Pros, duped me. I reserved a condo for our Christmas vacation on 11/4/2021. On 12/23/21 @ 3:15 pm I got an email saying that the condo was no longer available and that they would give me 25% off of a 1 bedroom condo. This would not work for my family of 4. I am hopeful my money will be refunded, however, they made every effort to make me say that I was canceling the reservation. I was not willing to do this.

Resort Rental Pros are scammers

Resort Rental Pros are scammers. Two weeks before our vacation we got the same message as other folks here: our 2 bed apartment was not now available but we could benefit from a "special offer" of a 1 bed apartment for 30% less than we originally paid. Obviously the 2 bed apartment had never been available and this was a scam to get us to accept an over- priced and unsuitable alternative. We cancelled and went with Booking.com instead, although at that late stage it cost us $500 more than the original "reservation ". However, what I'm really disgusted about is that VRBO's website (where I was originally looking) links to Resort Rental Pros thereby giving the impression that they are legitimate. We complained to VRBO and got our money back 3 weeks later. I sent VRBO a link to this site so that they could read the reviews themselves but perhaps they are more interested in the ad revenue than their reputation because they still link to the Resort Rental Pros website.

They will rob you blind

Beware: When you make a reservation with this organization, you are giving them full access to your credit card. They reserve the right to add to the total price of your reservation AFTER any refunds are allowed. Also, in my case, when trying to make a reservation at the Exquisite Wyndham Grand Desert in Las Vegas, I wanted to change my reservation to a date that was available, but the tool to change the reservation was not working. When VRBO worked with them to fix it, the date was gone and I was out of luck. No ability to change, no ability to obtain a refund, nothing. I would say, NEVER EVER use this company. They can and will rob you blind.

Resort Rental Pros Wyndham Smoky Mountains

Resort Rental Pros is who I'm reviewing, not sure if Vacation Rental Pros is affiliated. After booking a 2br unit for Wyndham in Sevierville TN for July 30th and 31st through VRBO I decided I would look up the company's reviews. After doing so I thought.. fml I've been duped! I called them the next day and a woman answered immediately which was a good sign. I asked if they sent out a reservation number since I've stayed at Wyndham properties countless times. She said I'd receive a confirmation number within 48 hours of arrival which had me confused and not feeling all that great about choosing them. A few hours later I received an official email from Wyndham confirming my stay. So unless they 'un-reserve' my reservation I should be good to go! I will update this if any thing changes.

Terrible company and customer service

Terrible company and customer service. I booked a place for my sons and I in Virginia and received a confirmation email. 10 days prior to our stay on June 13, received an email and text that mirrors the one sent to another individual below. Also similar to someone below, they tried to offer me a 1 bedroom instead of a two bedroom, on different dates, and insisted it was a "great deal". I did not take this "great deal" and requested a refund which included the rental fee, VRBO fee, and the travel insurance I purchased. After much fighting, I was assured that all fees would be reimbursed. Nearly a month out from this ordeal, the travel insurance had not been reimbursed. I sent the rental company an email on June 23 regarding not receiving the reimbursement of that which was ignored. Sent another email today and finally got my answer - they stated I had to contact VRBO to get my $74 travel insurance reimbursed. Even when I presented them with the email where the agent assured me that the fees would be reimbursed, the individual said it didn't say THEY would reimburse it. I'm furious and plan on contacting the BBB. I'm sorry to everyone else who has been scammed by this horrible organization.

Total scam

Total scam, booked through VRBO and they had no record and took $1400 from us. Said the owners name was Christian, the rental companies said they are hearing that name in others being scammed
