Misleading website and invasive cancellation process
I recently used apply.usimmigrationsupport.net, mistakenly believing it was the official U.S. government website for ESTA applications. Only after submitting my information and payment did I realize it is a private company, not an official government site.The service fee was much higher than the official ESTA fee, and this was not clearly communicated in a way that made the difference obvious to me before payment. When I requested to cancel my application, they even asked me to submit a selfie (a photo of my face) as part of the cancellation process. I find this completely unnecessary and very concerning from a privacy and data-protection standpoint, especially since they already had my passport information.In my opinion, the way this site is presented is misleading, and their practices around data collection and cancellation feel invasive and unsafe. I do not recommend using this website. If you need an ESTA, go directly to the official U.S. government site instead.

Not what I expected but they were helpful to respond
I paid more money than anticipated as I thought they were the government ESTA website. I requested my money back once I realised & asked for my personal details to be removed which they were very quick to do so thank you.

Accidentally paid through here rather…
Accidentally paid through here rather than the main gov website as I was stressed and have been charged an absurd amount. Would like my application removed and to be refunded immediately

Not the official government site!
Not the official government site and doesn't mention cost until you go to pay. Because I was tired and stressed, I didn't know until it was too late. I have requested a cancellation and refund as per their terms and conditions and I just have to wait to hear but I'm very disappointed this is the top spot on Google. Very misleading!

You mislead people making them believe that you are the official site, and you didn't state the price then "click next" you charged overpriced amount. I emailed you already, please refund me and remove my personal data.

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL SITE FOR ESTA VISA
Update - my husband has received a response to his email and the customer service team have advised that they have cancelled the application and the payment will not be taken from our credit card. I’m glad this has been quickly resolved. I think the website for the visa application needs to be clearer that they are an agent, not an official site and let people know what the fee will be on top of the visa cost. That was not known to us until I checked my credit card. Thank you for responding to my message on here as well. Do not get scammed into thinking this is the real USA ESTA visa application website. This is a copycat website that charged $148 on top of the cost of the ESTA visa application. My husband applied for ESTA Visa today as the fee for the visa is increasing from $21 to $40 from tomorrow (30 September). At no point was he made aware that this was not the USA official website to apply for the visa. He did a search on Google and this site came up. He did not know he would be charged $169 instead of $21. He received an email from the immigration support net email address confirming the application had been received but it did not include any details of what he'd been charged or that it was not an official site. He has sent an email to request a refund. We are waiting for a response.

Beware of this unofficial website
This is not sn official website, got scammed into using this. Does not even show the amount and an inflated amount is charged. Tried contacting them immediately. Please refund my money and don't process my application.

DO NOT USE. This company does not make it clear that they are a third party and nowhere does it state the amount they are charging you. I am now trying to get a refund and cancel my application. I am embarrassed that i fell for this scam.

Copycat site
The paid advertising on Google led me to believe this was the official ESTA website via Govt. Though the below comments from the provider state that they advertise they're not the official partner, it is not made entirely clear, and it doesn't say how much you're charged until you're made the payment. I emailed 5 minutes later to request a refund but haven't heard back.

Misleading site — hidden fees and no verification checks of existing ESTA status
I applied for an ESTA through this website, which is deliberately presented like an official government portal. I was unknowingly charged £102.47, an amount that was never transparently disclosed during the application or payment process; it only became clear afterwards via my bank charge, and even the confirmation email failed to mention the fee. The official US Gov ESTA costs only £17. The website made no attempt to verify whether I already held a valid ESTA — even though the official U.S. portal allows anyone to check instantly with passport details and date of birth. My ESTA was valid until April 2026. A genuine support service, especially one advertising “U.S. visa experts” and charging over six times the official fee, would have flagged this before taking payment. Instead, I was billed more than £100 for a duplicate application I did not need.I have contacted the company to request a full refund under the policy stated on their website. Given the lack of transparency and the failure to prevent duplicate applications through basic verification, I consider this a misleading service and expect a prompt resolution.

Be careful of this website it’s a third party site
Absolutely disgusted in this website thought I was applying for an esta through the esta website as it was the first one come up on google but this is not a government website didn’t tell me how much it was charging me when I processed the application were it should of only cost £15.58 for an application this website charged me £103.13 money that I don’t have to spend extra on this as this is a MASSIVE difference in what an esta application costs fell like I have been scammed from this site Edited After this said the company was very quick with there response and give me a full refund

Scam not government website but parading as one
I searched for ESTAs in google after not being able to use the government app like the rest of my party, (as my passport chip is damaged) and the search took me here. Not a government website for ESTAs and they charge £103 whereas the official US government site charges £16.Absolutely disgraceful, doesn’t even give you a cost when you’re processing the application. Very shady indeed and I’m absolutely fuming to have wasted a valuable £87 when times are hard at the moment.

I searched for estas in google and they took me here. Not an official website for estas and they charge £100 whereas the official US government site charges £16.
