ZERO STARS!!!Do not use this company

ZERO STARS!!!Do not use this company! This is a form of bait & switch where the quoted price is so inflated and if you don't pay, they hold your items "hostage" in the truck. Move quoted 7/28/25 for $2,993.00 and ended up paying $7,018.64. Truck was loaded late Sat. 9/13/25 and informed that $4475.64 due when delivered. Cash or money order. Banks & post offices closed so 3 trips to Walmart for Western Union money orders (same as what post office uses). Sun. 9/13/25 delivery made and truck being unloaded, the movers refused the money orders. Spent 1-1/2 hours trying to get cash so they would finish moving items. They destroyed a 6-month old 85" tv, broke drawers in two pieces of bedroom suite, rolled dryer across the yard and banged it up, pulled the top off of entertainment center and damaged coffee table. Movers left with our copy of receipt. Immediately called company regarding tv and receipt. No answer from movers, company, sales person or moving rep. Tried over 4 weeks with calls, texts and emails. Finally received call back, got an email copy of receipt and they told us to file a claim with their "insurance" which is not insurance, it is a settlement company. After 3 hours of providing photos and descriptions claim submitted. 4 weeks later, notified that we would receive $131. as we did not purchase add'l insurance. Payment was to have been made with one month. This was Nov. 12, 2025 and it is now Feb. 26, 2026 and no payment. We've made several calls and they are never available or returned. DO NOT USE AND WHOEVER ELSE YOU USE, MAKE SURE YOU BUY FULL INSURANCE!

Please be aware! They are professional scammers

They are professional scammers. Please be aware and avoid doing business with them at all costs. Unfortunately, I fell victim to their shady practices and ended up paying nearly $4,000. I ultimately had to cancel my shipment one day before the scheduled move because their behavior became increasingly suspicious. Their representative, Ben, initially quoted me $2,500 for the move and pressured me to sign the estimate the same day, requiring an advance payment of about $1,450. A week before the scheduled move, their extremely rude QA representative, Leenne, contacted me via text asking for my inventory list. After repeatedly promising to call and not following through, she finally called and demanded an additional ~$1,100, claiming my inventory exceeded what was originally listed. During this process, I also requested that they change the bank account used and asked them to charge my second bank account instead. Ultimately, I was charged twice, resulting in approximately $1,500 in duplicate payments. I followed up multiple times regarding the refund once the second payment cleared, and each time I was given a promised refund date that was never honored. At that point, I concluded they are professional scammers and terminated any further business with them. To this day, they have not refunded my duplicate payment. They are refusing to return the money unless I sign an agreement promising not to post any negative reviews or file complaints as long as the business exists. This is an unacceptable attempt to silence a customer and violates basic consumer rights. Additionally, all back and forth email communication appears to be AI-generated, adding to the lack of transparency and accountability. Please be aware: they are withholding my duplicated payment unless I give up my right to share my experience. I am posting this to warn others so they do not fall victim to the same scam.

The contract is misleading

The contract is misleading, the administration does not reply to communications. They insisted I sign the Bill of Lading the same day I signed the contract, even though my move was not for 6 weeks later. I only had 72 hours after signing the BOL to cancel, and the lease was canceled three weeks later. I can't get my money back, over a thousand dollars, legally stolen.

I checked out the recent ratings

I checked out the recent ratings, and they look much better for Top Moving Solutions. The representative who assisted me with the move was genuinely helpful and made the process smoother. The account manager was also wonderful, patiently answering all my questions.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! I booked with them to move my toolbox from CA to AR. I specified it needed to be a lift gate truck for pickup and delivery. They agreed to that and quoted me just under $2200, with half down as a deposit that would be applied to the total, and the rest would be due at delivery. Moving day comes and they sent a Uhual with no liftgate. Then the guy demands 70% of the total move up front before he will take it. I tried calling the booking agents (there were 3 different ones) and all kept going to voicemail. Finally I got ahold of Carmen who flat out told me either I pay the money and let them take it on a ramp, or i forfeit the $1k deposit and then she hung up on me. Twice she hung up on me, so I called the office directly because I wanted to talk to Jim Pierce (the original person I booked with) who then called me back stating he never said any of the things we agreed on AND WAS EQUALLY RUDE. They are all friendly and professionaluntil they get you to pay the down payment, THEN they send you paperwork with different agreement terms at the bottom, and once you sign they turn into totally differentpeople to deal with, and thats IF you can finally get them to answer their phones. Long story short, I paid $1k for nothing. Im just glad I didnt lose my toolbox and tools with these clowns too. This is by far THE MOST SHADY MOVING COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH! They WILL SCAM YOU!

Avoid TOP MOVING SOLUTIONS - Deceptive Bait and Switch Operation

I’m writing this review to warn others about TOP MOVING SOLUTIONS. What should have been a straightforward cross-country move turned into a nightmare filled with deception, hidden fees, and deliberate misinformation. The Bait and Switch: TOP MOVING SOLUTIONS operates as a broker, not an actual moving company, which they failed to disclose upfront. They took our deposit, provided a quote, and then secretly brokered our move to a completely different company without any notification. When the actual movers arrived, we were shocked to learn we were dealing with an entirely different business - one that immediately demanded another deposit on top of what we'd already paid. Price Gouging: The final cost was double the original quote from TOP MOVING SOLUTIONS. They conveniently "forgot" to include items we had explicitly discussed and listed, then used these omissions to justify the massive price increase. This is classic bait-and-switch fraud. Broken Promises: We were told delivery would take one week. Three weeks later, our belongings finally arrived. The stress and inconvenience of being without our possessions for twice as long as promised, with no honest communication, was unacceptable. Additionally, when our arrived there were several broken items and the boxes looked as though they had been tossed around with no regard. There were a total of 5 boxes missing as well with no explanation as to where those items were or ended up. Hostile Customer Service: When we tried to address these issues, their customer service was aggressive, defensive, and utterly unhelpful. Instead of taking responsibility, they became hostile. Shady Communication Practices: The shadiest part: when I called the agent who had been texting me, the number connected to an automated system instead of a real person. Their main customer service number wouldn't answer when I called from my phone, but miraculously someone picked up when I called from a different number. This is deliberate call screening to avoid accountability. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Avoid Please!! all bad reviews here r so accurate

At first, I was very excited to have found them, giving me a nearly impossible low rate that should have been more of a red flag. Read your contract extremely toughly because when I asked for it to arrive October 2nd they had any day 30 days after October 2nd. They got to my storage unit that I had repeatedly told them was 7x10 feet and proceeded to increase my quote from $2300 to over $6000 on September 26th. It is October 29th and I still do not have my things. I don't even want my things I want my money back so I can buy new things and get on with my life, but they won't answer my calls. Still debating suing for bait and switch practices but I haven't decided if it is really worth it. I guess if my things don't show up in another two weeks I can start filing demand letters from my bedroom floor because I have no furniture. I'm adding this because honestly its funny. Here is a direct quote from my father: "you should have lit your things on fire and threw them off the roof, it would have been faster, more fun, and saved you thousands."

They will steal your money. Worst Customer service ever

Back on August 8th, 2025, I was looking to move from Texas to Illinois due to family health concerns. I went online and had someone from Top Moving Solutions contact me, agent's name was Patrick Sullivan for a move on Sept 11. Move forward to August 23rd, I had a change of plans and decided to cancel my order. I emailed Patrick Sullivan to cancel and he was the most disrespectful person I have dealt with from a company. He insulted me and complained the entire time. Spammed me with calls to try and keep me from cancelling. Called me a liar. And said I wasted his time on a Saturday to cancel the move. I have yet to receive my $1,265.21 deposit back from this company. Everytime I try to call this company I get an AI on the phone with no option to speak with a live representative. The AI puts you in a loop and says they will send an email to someone to contact you but nothing comes from it. All emails to this company go ignored without any responses. I make this post in hopes that someone else doesn't have the misfortune of dealing with this corrupt company. I understand now that I should have been more diligent in my research of this company but I was in a vulnerable space dealing with money problems, going through a divorce, and worrying about the health of my father so I was desperate. Lesson learned and hope someone else doesn't have to go through this.

Avoid this company at all cost !!!!!!

I would give this company negative stars if I could. I called them and asked if they could pick my stuff up on Saturday in Taylor TX and delivery it by Sunday or Monday (Aug 25) to Blue Springs MO and they promised me they could. After talking about what I had to haul they said it would be $3500. I told them that I couldnt afford that and they reduced it to $3000 if I would put a deposit down right now. This was two weeks before I needed them there Later I got a call from the owner, Lucas, he went over my list of things to haul and adjusted my estimate to $3500 saying I had more than I had previously told them. I just answered their questions on what I did or did not have to move and my estimated number of boxes. He said it was in the contract (which I have requested several times and never received a copy) that they can change the price if I have not told them everything I have to move. Sounded pretty sketchy but I went with it. This person was extremely rude to me and said things that should have alerted me to the fact he was not really a professional businessperson but a scammer. On the day before they were supposed to show up a got a text message saying they would be there tomorrow (Sat Aug 23) between 10 and 2. They never showed up or called. The following day I got a call saying they would be there in 30 minutes (which would be around 8:30am) They did not show up until 6:00 pm! I kept calling trying to find out what was going on, but I would get run around answers. Now the movers finally showed up and the price to move jumped to over $10,000. I was in a terrible bind as I had to move that weekend and get back to MO. for work. So unfortunately, I went with it. The guys would only take cash (this is Sunday night after 6:00 remember) and they had just increased my cost my $4000 and wanted cash. We tried to Venmo them the money but Venmo had them blocked (imagine that). Finally my sister was able to go to WalMart and get 4 $1000 money orders to cover the cost. He also informed me that it would be another $3500 when they delivered it to MO. This made my move over $10,000. If I had known this was the cost I would have done it myself with some strong college boys and a U-haul. As they were packing up the truck I would have to remind them that we needed to keep working as it was getting very late. Then one of the movers picked up a storage cabinet I had and turned it upside down which caused blue ink to spill all over the carpet. He carried it outside like this so it left a blue trail from the bedroom to the front door. Even though we tried everything (after they left) to remove the ink, it would not come out costing me my $1000 deposit. So finally the movers pack everything up and leave. I tell them bye and I would see them in MO in two days. WRONG!!!! My furniture was not delivered to me in MO until Sept 16!!. I could not get the company to ever tell me why they held my furniture hostage or were they stealing my stuff? I don't know. They would never give me a clear answer just that they had up to 30 business days to deliver my stuff per their contract (they one they would never send me a copy of). In the contract, from what I could remember it said they had 30 days in case of emergencies. So far there had been no snowstorms, floods or hurricanes to be considered an emergency so I don't know why they held on to it for so long. Meanwhile I paid rent, electricity, internet, trash etc for two months on a home I could not move into because I had no furniture. When they finally decided to return my furniture, they did not even bother to call me and let me know. The driver called me at work around noon, and said he would be there between 4:30 and 6. He showed up at 7:00. I still have not had a call from the company. When the truck arrived I had to pay the additional $3500 to get my stuff. So all together my move cost me almost $10,000 plus the loss of my deposit, plus all the expenses I had to pay for a house I could not live in. I asked the driver where he picked up my stuff and he said around Dallas. Why did they take my stuff only halfway and leave it somewhere? Who knows where? So this "professional" company underestimated the cost of my move just to get me to sign up knowing that once they had me I would be in a bind and have to pay the extra. These people say they are professionals, but they can't get an estimate on a move even close to true cost. My original estimate was over $7000 off. If they were going to take 30 days why did they tell me they could do it in 2. If I had known it would take 30 days I would have planned differently and not have spent money on a place I couldn't live in. I also would not have been so angry. So if you don't want to spend 3 to 4 times what your estimate was and wait 30 days or so to get your items with little or no communication on what is going on with your entire life worth of stuff then don't ever ever ever hire this company.

Avoid Top Moving Solutions

Avoid Top Moving Solutions, LLC at All Costs Our experience with Top Moving Solutions, LLC was extremely disappointing and frustrating. This company operates as a third-party logistics (3PL) broker, not a direct moving service. They initially offered us a discount, claiming they would "partial" our load with another move in the area. Unfortunately, this turned out to be completely false. Instead of handling the move themselves, they subcontracted the job to a small box truck company staffed by inexperienced workers. Despite the promise of a shared load, we were ultimately charged for the entire truck. Worse, the subcontracted movers threatened to withhold our belongings unless we agreed to pay additional fees—while they were already on-site and loading. The movers were unprepared and unprofessional. They arrived without basic tools and even asked to borrow ours during both pickup and delivery. When we requested that they use carpet protectors in our new home, they refused and walked through the house with their shoes on, including up and down the stairs. One of the most frustrating parts of the experience was that Top Moving Solutions assured us they could transport our golf cart. However, when the subcontracted movers arrived, they had no knowledge of the golf cart and brought a truck that was completely unsuitable for transporting it. As a result, we were forced to rent our own U-Haul and pay an additional $1,000 out of pocket to move the golf cart ourselves—an expense that was entirely due to their misinformation and lack of coordination. Attempts to contact Top Moving Solutions for support were futile. Representatives were either unavailable or provided false information, insisting that the subcontracted movers were their own employees—despite the fact that the Motor Carrier Number on-site was completely different. This was, without question, the worst moving experience we’ve ever had. The company markets itself as a family-run business, but our experience suggests otherwise. I sincerely hope regulatory action is taken against them in the near future. Ryan Kunkel, as the representative of this company, you should be held accountable for the misleading practices and poor service. Consumers deserve better.

Brendan Doud
Topmovingsolutions

Hi Brandon, I’m sorry to hear you’re dissatisfied, but I want to clarify a few key points. First, we are not a 3PL or broker — your move was handled entirely in-house by our team. Regarding the golf cart, it was not standard in weight or dimensions. The truck dispatched was not rated to safely transport it. Had we been informed in advance of its specifications, we could have sent a properly equipped vehicle. Unfortunately, that information was not provided prior to pickup. We’ve communicated with you multiple times, and it’s disappointing to see continued inaccurate claims being made publicly. We’re committed to accountability and fairness, but we can’t allow misinformation to go unchallenged. Again, we regret that your experience didn’t meet expectations, but the review contains several factual inaccuracies that we feel obligated to address.

Moving solutions is a SCAM!!

Moving solutions is a SCAM!!! Not only did the cost of my move double the day of pick up because they grossly under-quoted me, but their communication is an absolute joke. I was told in my initial sales call that they had to pick up all of my belongings over 2 weeks before my first available drop off date so they could transport my stuff across the country. From there, the sales rep, Patrick, guaranteed me that my belongings would be delivered on the first available date (July 3rd). When I hadn't heard anything the day before my move in, I tried calling and I discovered that they use an AI bot to filter calls so the only way you can talk to a real person is to request a call back (which rarely happens). And if you do get through to someone they're not only unhelpful but they're all extremely rude! I finally got someone to tell me where my items were and that's when I found out that my stuff was sitting in a storage facility in my home state of Arizona - not the state I was moving to! After waiting over a week, calling constantly with no call back (they were absolutely avoiding my calls), my things were finally going to be delivered to me and I was given a drop off window between 3-6pm. The day of drop off, the moving coordinator, Leo, was screening my calls and only started communicating when I had my father call from his phone. It was then that we were told that my stuff actually wasn't going to arrive until 8pm - not between 3-6 like I was told the day before. When my things finally arrived (at 9:30pm), there was only ONE GUY to unload the truck. Also they made me provide the final payment before they even opened the truck, so we weren't even able to guarantee the my belongings were on there until after I venmoed them. Many of my boxes were smashed and damaged. Luckily I packed well so my actual belongings weren't broken but if I hadn't, I can't even imagine how much of my stuff would have been damaged by them. Long story short - DO NOT use moving solutions unless you want to pay more than you agreed to, have nonexistent communication or transparency regarding your move, and added stress.

We're sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations, but we do want to clarify a few important points. Your quote was based on the inventory and volume you provided at booking. When the movers arrived and found that the actual volume exceeded what was listed, updated pricing was discussed and agreed to before anything was loaded—this is outlined in both the estimate and the signed Bill of Lading. We understand that price changes can be frustrating, but they are only applied when the actual scope of the move differs from what was originally submitted. As for delivery, we never guarantee specific delivery dates. Our paperwork, which you acknowledged, explains that delivery occurs within 0–30 business days from your First Available Delivery Date (FADD). We understand how stressful moving can be, but the timeline you referenced is not something that was promised. Our phone system allows customers to request callbacks so we can direct inquiries to the right department, and we show multiple attempts were made to communicate with you. We’re glad your items ultimately arrived safely, and we always recommend filing a claim if anything is damaged during transport—we’re here to help with that process. We appreciate your feedback and are always working to improve communication and transparency. If there are any open concerns, please reach out to us through our support channels so we can assist further. —The Moving Solutions Team

DO NOT USE Moving Solutions!

DO NOT USE Moving Solutions!! Where to begin? When I first talked to sales, I was told that you only pay for the cubic feet that you use, that they would adjust the cost if you were over/under the estimate. Packing day arrived on 4/29. The packer looked at what I had already packed and wouldn’t start packing or loading until she called the company to increase my cu ft and had my check in hand for the increase. I paid for packing, even though I had packed 80% of it myself. She only had to pack kitchen, books, and pictures and said she would not pack until I showed her my contract. Then she said the driver said I had reached my cu ft and refused to pack any more boxes AND refused to call the company to increase our cu ft again. The helper finally did load a few more boxes for us, but we had to make the difficult decision to leave some things behind, with friends having to step in and take care of these items for us since we were leaving for MI the same day. For the move from AZ to MI, I was told 5 to 15 days for my items to arrive. Over the next several weeks, well past the max 15 days we were told, I tried call the company (no exaggeration) 25 times!! Each time I was routed to an AI named “Ava” who constantly reassured me that someone would call me back between 9 and 5. I was only able to make contact with someone 7 times in the 7 weeks (!!) it took to receive my items. Once, when I actually talked to someone and asked why they weren’t calling me back, I was told they had nothing to say to me. Multiple times I inquired what my actual cubic footage was, only to be recited what I had purchased, not the actual. Six weeks into this ordeal, I was finally told that we would get 24-48 hours’ notice before items were delivered. This was imperative as we were waiting in a different state and would need the time to travel to our delivery site. Nope, we only got 18 hours’ notice to had to cancel appointments and rush to MI to receive the delivery. The driver finally arrived at 10pm on 6/22. He said he would be back at 7am to unload with two helpers, but didn’t arrive until 8:30am with NO helpers. The driver unloaded all of it by himself (and, seemingly the only person at this company that can do a good job!). To add insult to injury, when the portion of the container that contained our belongings was measured, the space was 300 cu ft LESS than I had paid for. I cannot put adequate words to the misinformation, unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and frustration that I experienced in working with this company. Not only did I overpay for the space used and wait three times longer than I was quoted for delivery, I had to leave some of my own personal items behind because of their incompetence. It made an already difficult move almost unbearable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations, and we’d like to take a moment to address a few points you raised. Regarding your quoted volume and pricing: our estimates are based on the inventory provided at the time of booking. On moving day, if the actual volume exceeds what was quoted, the rate is adjusted accordingly—this is clearly stated in both the estimate and your signed contract. We understand how stressful it can be to make last-minute decisions during a move, and we regret any frustration that may have caused. As for delivery timelines, our agreement outlines a delivery window of 0–30 business days from the First Available Delivery Date, not calendar days. While our average delivery times are often shorter, we do not guarantee exact dates as unforeseen logistics and routing challenges can occur, especially on long-distance moves. We sincerely apologize if our callback system caused any confusion. While our phone assistant is designed to help route calls efficiently, it’s clear that you were expecting a more responsive experience. We’re actively working to improve communication during the delivery phase and your feedback is helpful in that process. If your final measurement differed from what was billed, we encourage you to file a formal claim—we are always willing to investigate and ensure billing reflects actual usage when documented properly. We’re sorry to hear that parts of your move caused additional stress. That is never our intention, and we’d be happy to speak with you directly to help resolve any outstanding concerns. Sincerely, The Moving Solutions Team
