I never got my order and company never responded
This is such a good idea and I was initially excited about the kit I ordered. However, after I paid I waited several months and the kit never arrived. I contacted the company several times with no response. Even when I made a claim in PayPal the company didn't respond. Eventually I got a refund through PayPal. Just by looking at the website it seems this company has a good product because the website is professional. They also work with artists who make interesting crafts and are quite talented. I feel sorry for the artists because they are now associated with a company that doesn't follow through.

Do not Trust
They used to be a great company then tried to expand too much into retreats and forgot their mission. Still waiting on a box from April. It's September. They take your money and then never ship your order. They keep blaming sourcing issues but that should have been figured out before offering the subscription. And somehow they have the materials for their retreats.

I think the concept is great but the execution is trash. They had like a ala carte motif and it doesn't work well because they're always out of stock of something. I bought a punch needle kit and class. The yarn was poor quality or just didn't not work well with the monks cloth and needle (that I had to buy) because it was out of stock. The should offer pure cotton or hypoallergic materials for children and adults that are beginners as well as all materials. There can be a happy medium. Just sell bougie but in tiers. Beginners, Intermediate etc. The class I bought to go with the punch needle kit was missing the prints to trace on the monks cloth. Reached out to customer service they seemed to have an attitude and emailed me prints for me to print out. Tacky. In addition the class was not using the same desing as the punch needle kit. This is an unorganized mess. Just don't. Seriously. It's overpriced and for all of the inconveniences. Everything should be cohesive and match, and line up or should all be out of stock. Make it make sense Crafters box. Will never buy here again.

Run, don’t walk away from Crafter.com
While the idea is great, their execution is quite terrible. Reaching out to customer service is a joke. I bought a sandal making kit that came with leather which had mildewed and was marred. I contacted them and they gave me instructions on how to remove the mildew and raise the indented leather. If the indented didn’t come out they suggested I make a pair of sandals that didn’t use that part of the leather. I decided to return the box. It’s been over three weeks since the received it and I have yet to see my nearly $300 return. While I was out of my 30 day return policy I didn’t think it would be a problem due to the defective leather and that I still haven’t received a subscription box (batik) from more than six months ago. Stay away from crafter.com.

You will order things and just never receive them. They then won't respond when you reach out. Ordered a 3 month subscription in December, received one box without instructions late and then nothing else. They don't respond to emails/messages, so you're just out your money.

Complete lack of communication and…
Complete lack of communication and transparency. It is now December and I’m still waiting for boxes ordered in august and October. I’m wondering if they have gone bankrupt as the new box is supposed to be listed on the first of the month and sent out at the end of the month but last months box is still up and no communication regarding my previous two orders and the new listing. It is quite expensive and sounds like a great idea from their site but be wary as customer service and follow through seem to be non existent.

Every month there is a problem, either late shipping or mixing/broken pieces
I've been subscribing to the The Crafter's Box, now just called Crafter, since May 2019 and it used to be so good. It has continually gone downhill the past few years; boxes are difficult to order, they arrive with missing or broken pieces, and they rarely ship on time. The company keeps raising the prices and extending shipping times but it hasn't fixed that issues. Worst part is the total lack of communication from Crafter when delays are happening. June's box should have shipped no later then June 28th (the last business day of the month) according to their own schedule, but it is now July 7th and they haven't shipped (again, this happens nearly every month) and haven't sent an email stating why or when it will ship. I reached out to customer service and got a response simply saying "Thank you for the message. This has not yet shipped! So sorry for the delay. We will be sending an update with shipping timeline soon." Which is just a non-answer. I'd be more forgiving if this was a one time occurrence, but it is literally every month now. I'm just waiting for my prepaid subscription to end so I can be done with this company. Save your money and sanity and buy directly from the actual artists.

I wish I could give ZERO stars
I wish I could give ZERO stars. I started a subscription with Crafter. I have had so many ch trouble with ordering. Boxes didn’t show up. Boxes were missing items. Many boxes and materials were sold out. I just cancelled.

Let me be the first to review so you…
Let me be the first to review so you don't get disappointed like me. This is for the Crafter's Box which is just crafters.com and not what is above. Lets start with the price. Its $75 for the box. There's a bunch you can add on and of course there's a website for you to buy their stuff. So on Aug 2, I ordered the subscription box. It was supposed to ship out on the 15th. It didn't. Got an email in September stating they had a sickness and the supplier didn't get their stuff done. Ok. It happens. Weeks later we get another email stating the sickness has now hit them and they were unable to pack boxes. Kinda absurd, but ok. And this 2nd email had all the emails wide open. You could see how many ppl were on this box. 34. 34 people. You didn't have to make 100's of boxes. Just 34. Now we are fully into September and the 2nd box I chose was already here and no word on the 1st box I ordered in August. The September box had missing items. Ok. It happens. I sent them a message and a picture stating I was missing items. They responded and said we will send out the missing items. They resent items I already had. It wasn't the missing item. So now I still have missing items needed to complete Septembers box. Not that I was going to keep it. Its super ugly, but I was going for the experience. We are now in October and the 3rd box has already been paid for, and still not a word on the 1st box. They did offer $10 discount on their store as a sorry. Ive already pd $75 for the box. Im not buying crap in your store. Again, we only had to make 34 boxes. Im not super impressed and I don't feel like the price point is worth the box. My goal was to find and make things I wouldn't normally chose and to learn some new things, but I'm honestly not having a good time. I really wanted the footstool box, but this is quickly becoming a waste of time and money and more of a hassle then an enjoyment. I'd find another box if I was you.
