Tax professional Kat Ching Always Prepared
My tax professional Kat Ching was extremely easy to work with. She was always ‘on top of correspondence’ and always prompt and responsive. She gave good professional advice and always knew what forms were needed. Kat always kept abreast of my needs and submitted everything in a timely manner. Carol Kauffman: tax audit guardian angel
Carol Kauffman is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful to me in many ways - she was patient with my technology gaffs, she was super responsive via the portal and directly via telephone and she expertly navigated the mishmosh of my financial life to provide a response to the audit that was satisfactory to the CT IRS. It was incredibly comforting to know she had my back since I have never been audited and without Carol, it would have been much a more stressful process.

Edited: They eventually helped --------Stonewalled. Wouldn't Provide Services I Paid For
EDITED After I posted the original review, Tax Audit immediately jumped into gear to help me. There wasn't much that needed done. I just needed someone to review the documents I could access and let me know if I had taken the right steps. I eventually spoke with a tax professional who was very helpful.---------As of 1/26/2026 I am extremely unhappy with TaxAudit. They are stonewalling me for the second time. They refuse to even answer basic questions until they receive all documents, and if you don't submit them quickly enough, they close your case. I have re-opened the same case and again am getting nowhere. The problem is they are demanding notices that I do not have. The IRS did not send them to the correct address or make them available online. It is the perfect stonewalling defense for TaxAudit to lighten their load at my expense. As of 1/26/2026 I have received more help from ChatGPT than I have from TaxAudit. And I am being forced to handle the matter myself, because the "attorney" we PAID for will not help. We are stuck in limbo land with a case co-ordinator who refuses to even pass the case on or answer basic questions until he receives documents which I do not have and the IRS is not providing. ................ If the company by some miracle chooses to work on my case or even answer basic questions I would be glad to update this review. I know what it feels like to be stonewalled. And this is it.

Poor experience
Unfortunately, my experience has been very poor with this company. The initial phone call for our tax return was very promising, but then they refused to speak to us the rest of the year and wouldn’t clarify any information that they told us in the very rushed phone call. You kind of just feel like you’re another number and they don’t really care about actually helping you or comminicating.
