I received notification of the project…
I received notification of the project and the guy showed up on time...did a fine job and everything, but I also received a different notification for the same project and the text offered a link to communicate with, however, when going to the link, it did not allow me to send any messages and there was not phone number, so this guy showed up a day later and the project was complete. I tried this link several times but it doesn't work.

The person was 2 hours late for the…
The person was 2 hours late for the appointment. They brought someone with them who I assume was vetted through task rabbit. When they finally finished the left trash all over the floor. He took a variety of phone calls while assembling and I assume that was what took so long. Not a great experience.

it felt like a Rip off
it felt like a Rip off. Because it was a small job that took 30 minutes to complete and should’ve been charged one hour, but I got charged two hours for it.

Was paired with a taskrabbit through…
Was paired with a Taskrabbit through IKEA, suppose to show at 0800, he called to let me know he was coming late, finally he showed up at 0945, with only a cordless tiny drill, nothing else. He needed to mounted to the wall an IKEA Besta unit. Took him to assemble part of the unit from 0945 until 1130 when he announced that he was going to get something to eat. Had to call him around 1545 to ask if he was coming back. He showed up around 1700, and from there left a couple of times again to get more tools to complete the job. It was around 2030 when he keep on battling to mount the unit on the wall. Finally I asked him to leave, because the unit did not look level, and stable. So now I am afraid to place my TV on top of it. I guess I will have to hire someone else to start all over again. I wont be using Taskrabbit ever, ever, again :(

Great people. Excellent price. Taskrabbit's cut could be more reasonable, even though I love the transparency- I think other apps are less clear about it. Will continue searching for help through taskrabbit.

Avoid using TaskRabbit
Avoid using TaskRabbit. You may find a great tasker for a a good rate, but expect to pay 35% more than that rate bc of a "trust and support" fee which isn't a fee at all, it's ANOTHER hourly rate added on. When I booked, it said this:* Client Rate/hr: $41.29* Trust & Support Fee: $15.21But I ended up getting a receipt that charged me almost $50 in this added fee (not even including a service fee). I would have liked to tip my wonderful cleaner, but the platform just took too much. It was super disappointing and customer service was even more disappointing. So much for the "support" part of that I paid for.There are plenty of other platforms that don't have a ridiculous fee like this. Use them!! Just my advice!

Easy to get help but pricey
Easy to find help. Very convenient to be able to safely chat and keep updated with taskers. Prices are very high this year. Double last year

The App is Easy
The App is Easy, the Taskers are professional & talented. However, an assembly for 3.5 hours X (51.62 an hour)= 180.00 ( not bad) BUT the Hidden Fee of 66.54 is absolutely Ridiculous! Rather go to a handy man app, Plus, the 800 customer service number keeps you on hold for hours. Not Worth It, NEVER AGAIN! #lessonlearned
