The recruiter I worked with did a great job aligning my skills with the needs of the employer. The hourly pay rate was very good as well, and I'm currently on a 1-year contract. I have been working as an Infor/Lawson Technical Consultant for almost 25 years and have worked with Surety for the last 12 years. Working in this business, I have spoke to hundreds of recruiters but there are only a few that I know I will continue to hear from and that will work hard to find the right contract for my skillset. They are more than just a staffing agency that sends out a paycheck though. They also have enough knowledge about your contract to jump in and get involved from a project standpoint if necessary which ensures success for all involved parties. Additionally, I have noticed that they have very little turnover so you can build relationships with their recruiters and know that they will most likely still be there when your contract ends and will work hard to find your next contract. Lastly, they have always paid on-time which could be the most important concern from a consult's perspective.

I have been an independent Infor/Lawson consultant for close to 20 years and have worked for many consulting firms during that time. I had heard of Surety Systems for several years, but the timing never worked out until finally, in April of 2020, I was able to accept an open position. I have to say Surety is one of the best consulting firms to work for as an independent consultant. They pay weekly, and have never missed a payment. The time keeping process is very easy, and the back office team is very helpful if you ever need anything. I have been able to stay as busy as I would like for the past three years. Overall, it's the best experience I've had as an independent consultant. I'm happy to say I'm still working for them! :)
