Purchased as Surebridge/chesaoeake
We purchased surebridge through a health market's agent for 2 adults and our child. We canceled the adults when we went on Medicare. All well. Kept other policy until son graduated college. Had agent cancel it. Later received notice they didn't cancel it. They chose not to allow me to cancel because my son was now an adult. He contacted them and ran him in circles. We thought it was done a year ago, me paying all along and not using it. Now, they wish to only refund 2 months. Even that us backwards since it was June 8th and at the very minimum they should refund 10 months. Don't even know where we are at now. I had to hang up. Very unreasonable! Still gave a bit of star because during actual coverage things worked well. But, beware this is ridiculous.

Their chat never work, the vision one they have together with dental and hearing it`s horrible, we went on an appointment paid everything and they never refund us, they have a list of dental clinic but when you try to set up an appointment the secretary says they do not work with the plan anymore. I spend a lot of money with them for nothing. I am totally disappointed. I trusted in my insurance agent and that it, So I am here to help you to not spend your money like me.

This is the WORST insurance that anyone can ever purchase. I have been attempting to get the portion of reimbursement from them since August 2024. I have called them on several different occasions regarding this issue. I had a routine x-ray and cleaning (dental) in August 2024. Each time I talk with a representative they have a different tactic/ stalling reason; all of which are unsubstantiated. Maybe I'll receive my reimbursement check sometime between now and 2026. RUN!!!! away from this company.

What ever you do don't buy surebridge united healthcare are Chesapeake insurance all in one . This is one of the most sorry excuse of insurance you can have. Do not buy criticall illness insurance are there accident companion all lies for there gain. Fighting for my criticall illness on my heartattack these bustard hasn't paid yet. My accident they have not paid my 7500.00 yet . God's in control of my life.

My basic dental x-rays and a filling were pre-approved but Surebridge has failed to make any payment. I was told by Surebridge customer service that the procedures had been billed incorrectly and was given instructions to give Aspen Dental to resubmit, but this also failed on the part of both Surebridge and Aspend Dental (Bradenton, FL.) Another example of the level of fraud and plain greed that has taken over much of heath-care.

We were signed up with a Chesapeake UHC policy even though we told the agent that we didn't want it. We have made several attempts to cancel it and they will not cancel it but continue to charge our credit card each month.

Lies from the beginning...
I was in the process of signing up for a new health insurance policy and my agent offered surebridgeinsurance.com CancerWise plan witch included heart issues, the policy was for a $15k payout in the event of certain cancer or heart issues but when I received the policy doc's, it was for only $10k coverage, not the $15k agreed upon amount??? If this is how they do business, I would not recommend them at all, whatsoever! Lies from the beginning is not a good way to do business!

I had a concert policy with them. After contacting them and sending them the report they said they had 30 days to respond. Now they said the check was mailed and have not received it after 2 weeks!!!!! Be careful when choosing this company. Check ratings with better business bureau.

I have terrible, I have to get terrible customer service with these people. I was in the car red send everything that I call on the phone that they told me to send email then the I told me that I needed a copy of the doctor bill. I don't know why because it was 40000 dollars, somebody I'm going to do with the doctor bill but I sent them a couple of days back to bill. I sent them a couple of them. The rate I sent my copy of the police record. I sent them a copy of everything. They wouldhen I say what's going on with Michael. I don't need a copy of your bill. OKI said I'm gonna have $40000. This was October. Here is January 2023 and then I plan ahead to keep emailing and call with them. Terrible customer service. Do not try someone else to get some insurance. This is a terrible company. I was told about this company through my issue was gay but it's terrible

The fact that they took money out of my account after having turned off auto pay wasn't bad enough, no no, they also would not allow me to cancel for the entirety of the month (3 + extra weeks). In my mind that is thievery. They clearly are not in the business to help people, structly to make money. That is the greatest downfall of capitalism, it's all about scrilla and not about PEOPLE. This is health insurance, it should be about actually giving people what they need. The website is confusing and finding what you need is not easy. They do not offer chat help either, so if you are out of the country it's gonna cost ya to get in touch. Straight cheese. If you have another option, use it.

From sometime early this year. to this day, and after almost 64 attempts at login in to my account, I am still unable to. I have called MULTIPLE numbers and still no solution. I find it funny how they can't help me, but they can help themselves to my money as they are still taking money out. I'm going to try to find a way to put a force stop on the payments and see what will happen then.

Billing Issues & Bad Customer Service
I strongly recommend you stay away from this company. I, like many others here, encountered billing issues after cancelling my insurance. It is obvious this is a systematic & recurring problem that SureBridge has not adequately addressed. Google the complaints on the Better Business Bureau & you'll see the same thing.On top of all this, their customer service was impatient & unkind. They gave me an ultimatum: Take the tiny refund or file a complaint & risk getting nothing. I never go out of my way to write negative reviews, but this experience was so, so time consuming & poor. If my experience is any indication, this company will take a couple hundred bucks over respecting your family.

I have called and was still being charge for an insurance policy that was cancelled last year. Going through customer service isn't helpful. I sent information and documentation about the charges. They are arguing with me over the email their department sent over who's policy is whos and I have it in my email. I will be filing a complaint with the insurance commission.

Predatory Company.
I Joined this company and policy when I turned 65. My payment was $29 a month. They changed it to $37 a month after 4 months. They know that seniors on medicare can not change there coverage but once a year. So I will be forced to pay an additional $64 dollars a year. They are a predatory company do not ever use Chesapeake or sureBridge for any Medicare products.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I’ve mailed copies of my preventive exam and asked for $50 reimbursement asPart of my policy. Twice I was told they never received it and when they finally got it, it didn’t state what type of exam I’ve had. It did but obviously they couldn’t reed my insurance explanation of benefits. Then it took them over 2 months to process my check. I cancelled my plan with them and wouldn’t recommend this company to anybody. Imagine if I was asking for my $10k reimbursement for a stroke or heart attack which was included in my plan. I would stick with Aflac, much better company to deal with and speedy processing time

Worst denial insurance!
Worst denial insurance!! I canceled my policy. I called to see what dental work would be covered before I had any work done. Then i received a notice from them say that none of my work was covered. I called and spoke to a representative to find out why the dental work was not covered. I also explained that I called before I had any of the work done to make sure that it would be covered. The representative then lied to me and told me that the bill was listed as a different service. I told her that it was not listed as a different service. I was looking at the same bill she was looking at. After that, I asked to speak to somebody to cancel my policy. What is the point of paying for dental insurance when they’re not going to pay for any of it!

I canceled a policy before it started . I received a cancellation notice e mail and a notice in the mail that I would receive a refund within 20 days . They have repeatedly lied about the refund coming out ( tomorrow) several times . I finally cancelled the other policy I was carrying. If they can’t even process a refund correctly I don’t want them in charge of any of my medical bills . Buyer beware

Plain and Simple because of a so called glitch in their system they withdrew 76.00 from my account on Jan. 4th. After I just received a letter saying " Billing notices are mailed 20 days prior to each payment due date and my payment notice will be mailed out on Jan 1." Now this was part of my rent money. I called and told them this and no one cares. They was not authorized to take any $ out my account and per my prior conversation with the rep my card was supposed to be removed! I'm still waiting to be refunded. I've called 3 times today and waited on two different lines for 30 minutes for a supervisor to No Avail. They will call you back by the end of the business day. Well it's 4:53 in the afternoon and they close at 5! I guess I'm just gonna have to go to the court house and file charges against this company for STEALING MY MONEY AND CAUSING MY LATE FEES!!
