Worth every minute
I started taking English lessons with Tina about a year and a half ago after my mom recommended her, and it's been exactly what I needed. As a software engineer working for a multinational company, I spend so much of my day communicating with English-speaking colleagues, and I was sometimes struggling to communicate effectively.What pushed me to finally book lessons was a work trip to the US where I just didn't feel confident at all. Fast forward to my recent trip there - I could really feel the difference! I work in a company where part of our professional communication is in English. I learned English at school decades ago and have since taken many courses and tried self-study for years. I have several B2 English level certificates at home, but somehow, I have never managed to move beyond that. I admire her ability to be a true friend to all her students, and that is exactly how I feel in class. We practice grammar, speaking, and listening (which is both challenging and rewarding). Even from a simple warm-up conversation - “How are you today?” - Tina manages to draw out useful chunks, correct mistakes, and suddenly turn it into grammar practice, listening exercises, or pronunciation training.Honestly, I’ve been looking for a teacher like Tina for at least 25 years - and I’ve finally found the best. Tina doesn’t rely on the usual ineffective methods you often get in language courses - grammar taught topic by topic, endless word lists to memorize, and similar drills that never really take you further. Instead, Tina uses her science-based knowledge and extensive experience to create an approach that truly works for me: she helps me learn exactly what I need, and not only to speak English more freely, but also to listen and understand English better - even when it’s spoken by very different kinds of speakers. I was looking for a long time and tried many teachers but non of them had clear methods. I really spent a lot of money but I didn't get any results. Thank you Tina!I had so many lessons, reading and listening exercises, spent years studying grammar and vocabulary, completed a few Upper Intermediate and Advanced books but still could't talk at all and didn't know what should I do next. I couldn't overcome those obsticles and they seemed imposible to tackle. Two years ago I would use lots of obsolete words, I coud use idioms and phrasal verbs inappropriately. I had had speaking lessons with Tina for 2 years now (and hope to have them many years more). She helped me to forget about my shyness. The more to say I learned billions of new words, became more confident and fluent. Finaly I stopped reprimanding myself for mistakes and focused on certain goals. I am very glad I found MY TEACHER.

BEST English Teacher EVER!!
Tina is best English teacher I’ve EVER had! She knows the language as both a speaker and a instructor — so you’ll quickly learn both textbook and conversational English. Plus she is really good at explaining complex topics and presenting information/activities in new, interesting ways. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her.I started lessons with her nearly 4 years ago, when I was applying for graduate schools in the USA. She helped me improve my English and prepare for IELTS — increasing my score from 5 to 8! I was accepted to Stanford because of her!!Recently I graduated and resumed lessons with her to improve my Business English for work.
