I booked Kellie to come teach an old world/new world wine class for a group of my friends. We are always so amazed at Kellie’s expertise and we ended the night feeling a little more confident in our own wine knowledge! Kellie is just the best. She fit right in with our whole group and made our gathering so much more special!

She not only presents the class information, but answers all questions in a thorough and insightful way. She has helped me learn my preferences and how to buy wine.
This is our second class with SOmmSchool as a fun date night from our home. We love all of it, seeing what others are enjoying, learning about locations and regions and just having a carefree night. It’s a fun, different and professional experience all around !

Kellie taught a private class for my friends and I for my birthday. It was an unforgettable experience. She is a wealth of knowledge, while being so down to earth and she teaches in a way that’s so easy to understand. She worked with me to pick a topic we thought would be fun and then directed me on some wines to buy ahead of time. I would 1000% recommend booking a private class with her for your next special occasion.
Kellie's wine classes are so interesting and also great for all levels of wine knowledge. My husband grew up in wine country and I grew up with two parents that didnt drink (aka I know nothing about wine and my hisband knows a lot) and we both found the classes very fun and interesting! Her retreats also look amazing and I hope to attend one sometime. Kellie does a great job of fostering community while educating her clients! She is so knowledgeable but still makes you feel comfortable asking questions. These classes are so fun! Cant recommend somm school enough!
I took two classes through SommSchool in 2025, and they were highlights of my year. Each class was the perfect mix of history, geography, and wine education. From vintner to varietal, Kellie is as knowledgeable as they come (x10) and is incredibly generous with that knowledge. If you're thinking of signing up, do it now. You won't be able to help falling for her love of wine!

We had the privilege of attending the Portugal wine retreat with SommSchool last September. The trip far exceeded anything we could have imagined. Not only is Kellie an expert on all things wine, but she is dialed in on all the ins and outs of the wine/food and travel scene in the US and abroad. Every detail is thought of so that the trip wows from beginning to end. We learned so much about the food, wine, culture, and history of Portugal. Everything you would want from an upscale experience was provided. We loved every minute of our trip and made lifelong friends. We travel a lot and will drop all plans to attend one of SommSchool’s trip. We are forever attendees! Do yourself a favor and book a tour with SommSchool, it will be the best trip you ever take!

I knew absolutely NOTHING about Greek wine, and next to nothing about wine in general really. Kellie was so engaging and fun and made me feel so comfortable despite my limited knowledge. These are excellent classes led by a very knowledgeable professional whose presentation style is easy to understand and hard to forget! Kelli’s classes are filled with fun, encouraging dialogue and answering questions. I have learned a lot about food and pairings and deciphering wine lists in restaurants. Try one, you won’t regret it!
