Felt like I was a welcomed regular despite it being my first order!
I purchased the Spike Grain Mill. Great price and shipped quickly. However, what I was most impressed with was the phone conversation I had with SoCal! I called to verify my order and ended up talking with a staff member for about 15 minutes about the mill I ordered and homebrewing in general. It was awesome! Felt like I was part of the local scene despite the fact that I live on the east coast! A great experience.

Terrific customer service, great selection of brewing supplies and fast shipping. When I needed a grain not in stock, the store quickly obtained some from their supplier the next day. Also appreciate buying grains in ounces, and that each recipe can be bagged separately.

This was my first order with SoCal Brewing supplies, and I'm quite impressed, though I did encounter a couple minor annoyances. Not sure why, when I'm ordering multiple pounds of grain, I have to order them in ounces. Seems kind of weird to me that I have to do math.;) Another small issue is that I was unable to navigate your website when using my laptop running Linux. The grain ordering pages would not display correctly. But that was easily solved, I just rebooted into the Windows partition and then everything worked fine.Now with that out of the way, the good stuff....This is a well-stocked shop with decent prices, super fast order fulfillment, excellent communication, and fast and reasonable shipping. What more could you want. I came to the website because my local homebrew shop unfortunately is soon going out of business, and I've been looking for a reliable replacement. More efficient than Amazon
I ordered yeast on a Saturday night, expecting it to ship Monday and receive it Tuesday. I was shocked to see it arrive early afternoon the very next day, Sunday, via USPS. Not sure who I'm more impressed by, SoCal Brewing, or USPS who I've always considered to be one of the lamest shipping carriers.Either way, SoCal Brewing has a wide selection of yeasts and provided exceptional service. I'll be purchasing more products from them in the future.

Fast service!
I was looking for a specialty sake yeast (#9), that is only available briefly in the fall and even WhiteLabs didn't have in stock, and only found it at SoCal! The amazing thing was that I ordered it at noon on Thursday, and it was delivered to me in Hawaii at noon on Saturday! Unheard of! I usually support local, but our one and only homebrew shop on island closed recently. I guess now SoCal will be my "local" homebrew shop!

Vest fast answers to questions. They processed my order immediately . Perfect milling. All the orders 6 in total were labeled. Vacuum seal on all the hops. Yeast was fresh. Exceptional quality and service. 5 star
