The Company I’m writting about is called SLOMIN’S SECURITY SYSTEMThey got my husband who is starting to have Alzheimer over the phone to get their service.They went ahead and finance over$4,000. Which he didn’t know until I saw the bill from the finance Co. plus you also take $15 every month for ?We are an old couple who is now moving and have to pay the whole amount that was finance, plus a cancel fee of over$400.00.THIS IS A SCAM, PEOPLE DONT, DO NOT USE THIS SLOMIN’S SECURITY CO.THE WORST!!!!!THE WORST!!!!

Zero Customer Service
We bought our home with the system in place. For the first 4 months I contacted them many times as I did not know to use the system and neither camera worked. Finally, about 5 months later they sent a tech, cost me $167, who basically changed my password on the system. Didn't fix either camera. Been with them over a year now, was hoping to just cancel, but they want hefty fee for that! Nothing works and their service has been awful! They say they will call at a certain time so they can walk me through what I have to do to make things work, and I wait. Then they call me a few days later while I'm driving in my car. I also asked for a copy of my contract, which took 6 months to deliver. My name isn't on it. Then they send me a contract and tell me to sign it and return to them. No Way!!

Put new transformers in charged me $225…
Put new transformers in charged me $225 while 6 months ago the technician did the same exact work and there was no charge. Seems like they make up prices on the go. Go with another company customer service is impossible to get through to and they won't let you speak to a manager.

Look for a different company!! …
Took two weeks for someone to actually show up when I was told within 2-3 days. Then the tech shows up and doesn’t explain the app or leave the lawn sign or stickers. Then I was told he can’t install it on the wall and that I would have to have another tech come out to do and he would call me 24 hours. Well no call or show. I called and asked why can’t I do it myself which I was told I can. Well the tech didn’t leave the box with all the parts. Now I have to wait again for someone else to come because they won’t mail me out the parts!!!

I have been with Slomin for 2-3 years but it failed oil delivery this month. No response.
Ihave been with Slomin for 2-3 years, and recent snow storm made it quick to use use oil in the tank, Ihave contacted for 4-5 times, and still have no scheduled date for an oil delivery.

Seamless transition from Brinks to Slomins
Transition from my former alarm company to Slomins was seamless. Roy was a great technician. He came fully prepared and installed quite a few window sensors and carbon and fire detectors as well as a new control panel. He was very neat and completed the installation very quickly.

My carbon monoxide detector was beeping…
My carbon monoxide detector was beeping every 30 seconds, and I tried to shut it off but it would start again within 24 hours every time. When I called Slomin's for service, they said I'd have to wait a week for a repairman, even though the Fire dept showed up at 1 AM to check on it. So, I called my installer, James Ptucha and he sent someone the same day! James is so responsive, I'm glad I have him to help with emergency situations.

If I could give negative stars
If I could give negative stars, I would. I have been begging for an oil delivery for a week. Only being told, “I’m on the list” daily. Had to put diesel in my tank just to have heat. 20 year customer and I will be looking for another company in the future. So upsetting.
