Forced by a sudden loss of my main job in 2023, I decided to take the opportunity of discovering a new field and joined the QA courses at SkillUP. They offered exactly what I needed at that time: clear, structured and easy-to-understand info for a person who had never ever worked with technologies before. It was a pretty intense study grind, but totally worth it in the end.After I finished the main QA course they also suggested me to try their employment coaching. To be honest, I had some doubts at the beginning if it was the good option for me, but this coaching turned out to be a game-changer in my job seeking process. I mean, without the CV, cover letters, LinkedIn profile they helped me put together, and insights from working proffesionals, I doubt I would've found my place in an IT world so quickly. Hey, I wanted to share my thoughts on the Quality Assurance courses at SkillUp. The course curator was cool about asking for a review, and honestly, I'm all for it because the course was really good.I picked the US group since I'm planning a move to California. Let me tell you, I got more bang for my buck! I checked out other courses in the USA, and their prices are like double or even quadruple. Our instructor was a Ukrainian speaker who's been in the US for a while. She knows the market ins and outs and tweaked the program perfectly. Huge shoutout to the tech coach, Evgenia. Thanks to her coaching, I'm no longer sweating the technical part of interviews
