The person I spoke with thru chat was very precise and definitely seemed to know what he was doing. He solved my problem and was very nice and understanding about my situation.
Though I am a little upset still at the circumstances of even needing to contact customer service (changing the due date of my bill to date sooner in the month without telling me) Angel was very quick on resolving my issue and I am satisfied with the resolution.
I have been a customer for many years and love the site and all the people who have helped me through the years. Angel Emmanuel helped me today and I would like to say I received help quickly, professionally and with extreme care. Thank you

It seems no matter which plan I choose the prices are a bit higher then expected. But the customer service is well knowable and does their best to help with any service concerns that might be needed.
I switched to TXU energy thinking I would get a better rate on electricity. I received y first bill it was 540 dollars okay, received my second bill it’s also 500 dollars. I got a disconnection notice that said I owe 1509 dollars. Unless I’m just bad at math, something is not adding up correctly.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Angel today regarding a mistake I had made with a service address. Not only was my issue corrected, I was also able to ask questions that I had regarding service and pricing. Angel was so kind in answering all of my questions and breaking rates down in a way that was a lot easier for me to understand. Great customer service is always a huge factor in my loyalty to a company, and this has made a lasting impact.

The best company ever ! I clicked off the chat I didn’t get my agents name but she was so nice and friendly! They have helped me with my payment arrangement I would be sitting in the dark! Definitely recommend
Was with them for 7 years and should've left 3 yeats sooner. They charged us originally $250/monthly but suddenly we went to $580 with almost no warning despite our plan and rate not changing. Our house hold also was still 4. When leaving, the agent was constantly harassing us to the point that it almost seemed personal. Like I thought he was going to bust out a guitar and start singing break up songs.He was trying to throw out a new rate of 14.2/perkwtt but we already had an existing 13.7/perkwtt.We explained it was TXU ignoring us and driving up our bill with absolutely no justification and they never bothered to check the meter.Then when I turned down that rate, he started getting hostile and talking over me.I found a new electric company at 10.9/perkwtt and even if that rate disappears, they have other rates at 12.4/perkwtt-14.1/perkwtt.Look txu, I'm sorry. It's not me. . . It's you. You're the AH, the red flag, the toxic one.I've moved on.

I have been with TXU since 2004, and when I have fallen into trouble with the bill, I have been able to contact them and get arrangements made to help with the payment. Well after the Government shutdown back in Oct 2025, it effected me more than expected. After a couple failed attempts to try and catch up, I spoke with Kathya who took the time to explain what had happened up to this point, and explain exactly what was going on. Before contacting her, I was expecting to be paying much more than I actually owed. But after her patience and taking her time, I realized I was going to be all caught up. It is good to know there is still genuine caring and compassionate customer service out there. Thank you to Kathya.
