The sales process was very smooth, but nothing was ever delivered. Nathan came across as a polished sales guy, then handed things off to Rachel. After that, nothing happened. I followed up multiple times and received no results or meaningful response. In the end, there was a lot of talk and zero execution.
It was excellent. Everyone at Scribe worked at the highest level to make my book the best it could be. The editors helped to reframe my book to a tighter narrative and made numerous suggestions for rewrites, the publishing manager was superb in shepherding the book through publication, and the copy editors were fabulous in finding and fixing numerous typos and glitches. I can recommend Scribe to anyone wishing to publish a book without reservation.
It was a rough ride. Given the scandals etc I would be willing to give the new team another chance with my next book but need some reassurances.
I got to work with a talented ghostwriter and other experienced professionals that helped me deliver a great book! They aren't inexpensive, but worth it if you want to deliver a book you are truly proud of.

Scribe really strives to get it right, from the initial editing of a rough draft of the book, through copyediting and cover design. They deliver careful and thoughtful work that's meticulously executed and delivered on time. They're supportive during stressful moments and deeply invested in the successful launch of the book. I felt that I got my money's worth, but wish that they had provided more marketing support (which is available for steep fees).
