Well after reading negative reviews I…

Well after reading negative reviews I have decided to give them a call and have chat about it,what a lovely guy I have ordered 3x5l penrite oils and they are delivered on time he said they would so perfect service 5 star from me I would definitely use them in future why don't you give them a call find out yourself. Don't miss out on good deals they offer.

Great Service

I wouldn't take much notice of the poor reviews. I was nervous on reading them myself but I took a chance and I'm so glad I did. The service was excellent, delivery on time and they were far cheaper than anywhere else and gave me a discount. The fact there are so few reviews over a long period of time, suggests these are probably just isolated incidents and the vast majority have a great experience so don't go looking for somewhere to air their grievances.

Once again I feel the need to leave a positive review after clearly people are too fast to leave negative reviews of just one bad experience which shouldn’t represent a whole company helping people keep their classic car on the road for over 40 years! Their catalogues are just the best and I got my parts quickly and all fitted great. We are lucky to have them available to help us.

Great experience

I’ve used this company for the last 18 months as I’m renovating an MGB roadster from 68. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Not only are my parts shipped promptly (thanks to the wonderful Brexit !!) to Sweden the help and advice I have received has been invaluable ((Thanks Monty).

Bought a stainless steel bumper for…

Bought a stainless steel bumper for Mini Mpi rust spots appeared were the fixing brackets are spot welded to the bumper . Contacted SC Parts to be told item not in warranty after a number of Emails was offered part of the purchase price as a refund but 6 weeks later has still not materialised. I would therefore not recommend this company . Disappointed

Fast delivery Limora mangle

Not much to say really except I was looking for a hand wringer / mangle for off grid laundry, SC Parts had the best price (by far), so I ordered it, and having read other reviews realised it could possibly take months to arrive, but for the price I was okay with a wait if necessary!! Pleased to report that it arrived within days of ordering. Excellent quality, well packaged, very pleased.

Would never use this company again

Would never use this company again, parts are good quality, if a little expensive, but like many other reviews on here delivery takes weeks. Online said parts available, after nearly 2 weeks I emailed and was told they would be dispatched in a day or two, turns out available doesn't mean they are in stock or even in this country. Beware....don't expect your part anytime soon!

Slow delivery

I ordered a part for my MG from SC PART and it arrived today. The quality looks excellent and the price was good, SC were one of the only companies who appeared to have it in stock. I hope it fits! So why the one star rating? They took my money for something that their website claimed was in stock and it arrived 3 and a half months later. I emailed them every few weeks and their usual line was that I would have the part by the end of the week. I really hope it fits!

hi never use sc parts again July 2021 ordered floor panel for mini quoted 6 weeks for delivery 7 MONTHS later had delivery after being told on the phone loads of times it is coming in 2 weeks time ED

DO NOT USE this company

DO NOT USE this company, absolutely shocking customer service for one the way they talk to people is disgusting, you also never get told the same thing twice everyone has a different story and nobody communicates at all, they are forever waiting for a response off someone else, the delivery wait time on the website is LIES 8 weeks I waited for a PAIR of door handles for them to finally arrive and only ONE handle was in the box so I had to them wait for them to try and work out where the other handle was as apparently they only come in pairs, but when I spoke to someone again chasing my missing handle they get picked separately so you never get the same answer twice yet again, such a Mickey Mouse company I will never be using ever again. So unless you never want a straight forward answer and are willing to wait 10-12 weeks for ur items I’d avoid like the plague

I don’t understand these negative…

I don’t understand these negative reviews. Here’s my experience. I needed a Triumph GT6 radiator. SC’s price was £50 cheaper than I could find anywhere and they had stock. Really helpful chap I spoke to. Couldn’t have been more helpful. I ordered it on Saturday and it arrived on Tuesday, from Germany!!! Absolutely brilliant service, will definitely use again. Highly recommended!

Don't make a mistake by ordering from ScParts!!!

It has now been 6 months since I made an original order from this joke of a company. I am restoring a 1959 MGA and in my first emails I told him what I was doing, the model of the car and wheel conversion we were doing, and have spent thousands of pounds on orders which until now are still "In backorder", "are going to arrive here tomorrow", "Will be leaving us by the end of the week" or "Should be there soon".These guys are a joke. Chris lacker was the guy that I was in contact with for the past 6 months, he was nothing but rude whenever I asked about my order. But oh god, if I mentioned I needed to buy more parts he would immediately change to a different facet and become the employee of the month. I have been being lied to for half a year. Terry Bennet told me my parts were in Germany and should arrive by the end of the week - this was 20 days ago - today Chris told me those same parts weren't even being made yet by the factory. Also, an amazing thing that happened was, I told Chris that I needed those parts A.S.A.P (In March), he rushed me to make the $5000 payment, and right after I did so he casually mentioned that he only had like 10% of those parts in stock. I have been emailing him back and forth for the past months and after I asked him about these parts and about what there said he answered:"It is what it is"What a lovely way to talk to a customer, especially one that has spent thousands of pounds there. Just lovely.With this in mind, I asked for the reimbursement of those parts since I won't wait for them any longer, to what he replied that it was my fault that those parts haven't arrived yet, because I, yes MYSELF, am to blame, since I miss ordered the wheel conversion kit (which he was the one who mention and say it was the right one, it went for over $700). So from rushing me to make a payment, to only telling me they barely have anything I just paid for, to taking 6 months to ship everything and they still don't have them NOR an expectancy of when the rest will come, Chris Lacker proceeds to tell me "It is what it is" and refuse to give me a reimbursement because this was all "on me". I just wish that on the 20 times I called there asking to speak to a manager or anyone with any kind of decency they would've passed the call... I leave this here so if anyone is thinking about making a large purchase from them, just don't.

Just don't buy from SCparts - read the reviews

Well, I regret not checking the reviews before ordering on this site. I'm working on a restoration project for a vintage car and SCparts seemed to have all the parts I needed for my project... great, I placed my order at the end of Feb 2021, payment done, easy process.After a month without a single communication from their end, I sent an e-mail enquiring about the status of my order. They replied that some parts were in back-order but that by the end of the week everything will arrive... well guess what it didn't. after a few more weeks, another call, "oh yes, all your parts will arrive tomorrow and we will ship them"... nothing. This story repeat 5 times. Here we are May 2021, a package arrived, half of the part are missing, called them "the rest will ship next week"... yeah whatever. Don't do the same mistake as I did. Don't order from them!

EXCELLENT SERVICE, EXCELLENT PARTS

I recently ordered a 123 ignition for my healey 3000 and I had many questions which they answered perfectly. I got it in 3 days and it fitted great. I had to call them again to get some help with tuning it and they were fantastic, went through it with me step by step and now my healey is running better than ever. Excellent service, excellent parts. Don't always take a hand full of bad reviews as a reflection of a company till you have used them yourself I say!

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM S C PARTS. I have never written reviews before but I am obliged to do so after waiting 5 weeks for two simple 'stock' items I had paid for , numerous calls and emails to chase up and just arrogant fobbing off with bull**** answers.When the goods finally arrived they were very poor quality and simply not fit for purpose , cheap rubbish.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I waited two months for parts (seat foams) that I was told at the time of order would take two weeks. Regular chasing just got the response that the parts were ‘stuck at customs’ and ‘it’s because of Brexit’. This, by the way, because although these parts are apparently manufactured in the UK, they are shipped to their German warehouse, to be shipped back to the UK! Eventually got an email from ‘Monty’ to say that the parts would be with them last week. Still they didn’t materialize. At this point I cancelled this part of my order and requested the item that they did have in stock to be sent. This did arrive, but I received no despatch confirmation and only found out an expected delivery date and which courier by chasing yet again. Arrogant and unhelpful. Certainly won’t order from them again.

Another negative review they seem so keen to acquire. Oil pressure gauge purchased and webpage clearly states instructions were included. The instructions were fairly lengthy and in German. I requested English instructions and was informed 'not supposed to come with instructions', which was clearly a lie, and they wouldn't check other boxes for English instructions (so they presumably knew there wouldn't be any). I requested a refund but was told to take it to a garage?! I have no issues with electrics, but I have never used that particular gauge before, so just need to know how the 5 contacts are wired. It would also be useful to check the rest of the information (there was clearly a lot of it). Their customer services were just downright lazy, disinterested and useless. If a company isn't willing to go to a little bit of trouble to fulfil what they advertise, the least they can do is offer an apology for the inconvenience they caused and a return.*edit, after all this fuss they did offer a refund (I would need to pay postage). They claimed customers informed them they didn't need instructions so they stopped including them, which does sound like a lie. Why would you stop including English instructions because 'some' customers didn't need them, but include German instructions instead? Why did the offer of a refund only come after this review and not straightaway? Insisting problems are the customers fault is also not brilliant customer service.

Poor Service

Item provided didn't match either the SCP website picture or description. Another item in the same order was the wrong dimensions for the job they sold it to do. Add to those points, the small parcel charge for those items was, lets say, a little excessive. I pointed these facts out to SCP in an email, no reply. As no reply received I requested a return for refund, no reply. So I returned anyway, no refund. So I chased, no reply. So I rang to be told refund heavily delayed due to COID-19. I totally understand that, but why did it take a phone call to establish this. Sent email highlighting my experience, AND got a reply ... which told me; pointing these facts out and chasing a reply makes me an angry person who likes to complain. Huuum really, naughty me!

Don't use them

Don't use them! plenty of good companies to buy your Etype parts from Jag Shop London SNG Barrat, Huston's motorsI ordered a big bore Etype Series 2 1969 full exhaust system, they supplied a series 1 exhaust kit ie wrong tail pipes, I sent them back and they charged me for the replacement tail pipes a member of the sales team advised me that they were dearer than a Series 1 when you bought them separately. I didn't they supplied the wrong kit! after protracted emails they refunded me. Part of my original order of £7,000.00 was a stainless steel radiator and twin fan with cowling. when we went to fit the radiator the cowling didn't fit the radiator I returned it for a refund and they deducted the cost the two series 2 tail pipes £389.00 from refund and refused to pay the money back. Paypal were useless no feature on their dispute section for refund that was underpaid so I Contacted American Express and lodge a dispute and they credited my card.My final order came to 8k and I spent it Jag Shop and BAS International.They lost a 8k order over £389.00 I would like to be part of the sales and accounts team appraisal!Clearly the lack of response of other negative postings they clearly don't care
