Ordering faf
Went to order drinks and hot dinner serving at 12, time was 11.40. Sorry cant do that. Relooked at menu, back up to order, got no cornish pasties so order just drinks. Drinks came but no sugar with drinks so had to get another hand to get us sugar. Its now 12 so I decide to order on the qr but could not get it to work because wifi was too slow so back up into a long queue to order our hot meal. Been using you for years but will not be paying your prices for what you offer in service ever again. Well peed off.

Very friendly and helpful staff at Scotsdales Shelford
Generally a useful garden centre with very friendly helpful staff. Wish the voucher scheme didn’t have so many silly tat type items. At Christmas it’s the worst. Garden tool vouchers would be appreciated sometimes. Lovely flower displays and the 3 perennial offers very good value when in season. Huge development now with a butcher, baked goods along with the existing choice of confectionary and store cupboard goods.Shame Scotsdales doesn’t have a website detailing their extensive range of all things that grow in the soil. I tend to order from garden websites that do offer online descriptions. Rather impersonal new cafe/restaurant now newly opened. Very busy and very noisy at certain times. Strange ordering system - more likely to get cold food if ordered hot as cakes and scones are now delivered by waiter staff. Ordered hot food tends to sit waiting not under heat lamps for staff to pick up and if one is in a group food and drinks arrival is a bit uneven. Maybe not enough waiting staff.

Restaurant visit - poor service, poor quality of food - definitely not value for money. Young kids serving seemingly with no customer service training. Drinks arrived separate to food - both lukewarm. Food order incorrect and part returned thus delaying meal further. Tables either side of us also left food and were disappointed. Servers were making excuses about being very busy. Restaurant clearly can’t handle being busy!!

Went in restaurant and was met with a sign telling you there was a 45 min wait , couldn’t use the app to order so had to queue up to order to be told I had to wait half an hour to order and u couldn’t order drinks as they were at capacity . You could get hot drinks from a van outside and if you wanted cold drinks as well you had to go to the shop to get them. The staff were great but the whole experience trying to get food and drink was laughable. We have been here an hour so far and have managed to get hot and cold drinks, we also purchased some crisps to keep us going till the food turned up

18/7/25 had lunch at Scottsdale’s Cambridge.Had a coronation chicken sandwich, chicken was ‘pink’, very small thin pieces… I commented to the server. She said it was definitely chicken, looked more like ham!! Didn’t taste like chicken but I was hungry so I ate it. No lumps of breast chicken, which is what I normally get elsewhere. Won’t be ordering that again… Sandwich had been sitting out for a while as the bread was starting to dry out.Nice place but not as good as the old place.

Best possible place I've ever had the pleasure of living. No stress and amazing staff and neighbors. Close to everything you can ever imagine. Highly recommended 👌 If you are looking for your next place to experience life. Scotsdale is your best choice.

The new cafe is beautiful. I would give 5 stars but for one thing - dogs outside only. I didn’t think there was ever a problem having a doggy area indoors so why change it. It’s going to be cold in the 🥶 winter. I won’t be visiting then

We have just purchased a pimlico banana teak bench and a pine coffee table from scotsdsdales at FORDHAM Cambridgeshire. The customer service we received from Simon the manager and the delivery driver were excellent well worth the 5 stars it was delivered the same day and spot on the time we agreed. We visit there often the staff are always very helpful and friendly thank you all for the great customer service you gave us .

The Greenhouse Cafe
I visited Scottsdales at Gt Shelford for the first time a few weeks ago to use the restaurant. It was extremely busy. I had a great meal and thought I will come again. Well having yet another appointment at Addenbrookes this week back I went again. Well the had a surprise to find the restaurant has a new name now being The Greenhouse Cafe and also a new location which is very impressive. I great addition is, you can now order from the table. I ordered my dinner, which was plentiful, hot and well presented. I then took a look at the dessert menu and there was my favourite, Eaton Mess, well it was the best Mess I have ever had. I will be returning without and doubt very soon

I purchased a William Morris planter a few months ago & the glazing had cracked in a few places near the pattern at the front;I returned it & asked one of the assistants on the shop floor who was most helpful in finding a replacement there was no problem & the assistant at the cashier Rebecca was most helpful and efficient as are all the staff in the store & Cafe. The whole transaction was made so much easier by the fact that I have a loyalty card with proof of purchase…thank you Scotsdales.

Just bought some seeds from the Horningsea branch. The packets were labelled with a sow-by date of 2024. Really? I shouldn't have to check this kind of thing at a busy "garden" centre.Maybe Thomson & Morgan would like to know Scotsdales are harming their brand.

Quality of their food has gone down considerably, the sandwich’s are non-descript, ham use to be high quality coleslaw use to be homemade now gloopy very disappointing in general

I often visit the Fordham Garden.
I often visit the Fordham Garden centre. Being a gardening novice I rely heavily on the expertise of the gardening staff. All of whom are very helpful. When my questions are too in depth then Jason the plant manager, is not only very knowledgable, but very helpful and generous with his time. If I have criticism it’s that I feel the department staff, especially the plant manager, are stretched thinly. 1 or 2 extra staff would help. Given the helpful attitude it’s my garden centre of choice.

Great customer care and garden centre
I had a faulty product ( not the fault of Scottsdale, but a manufacturer) I contacted the customer care team at Great Shelford centre and I could not have been treated any better. The response back was immediate and settled so efficiently. Thank you Oliver for being so understanding. Would like to add this is a great centre to shop & have a delightful cafe as well.
