NO COMMUNICATION

My daughter’s flight was canceled which was not a big deal as these things happen. The bigger deal was there was NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL on what the plan was for them trying to get my daughter on a new flight back so we took matters into our own hands and booked a flight. Again no big deal but NO COMMUNICATION on the flight the potential refund for what is now over one week. The representative phone remains off the hook (Olivia) no e Mail was given to me after 4 phone calls. Only someone will call you back. Still waiting. In this day and age there are ample ways to contact parents about plans to rebook students on alternate flights not just ignore. Also it does not take 9 days to inform someone about a refund amount. There is no possible way that the airline takes 9 days to calculate the amount of the unused portion of the airfare. Just so poor. I am not going to forget about the refund amount. I just want to know and no possible way this takes more than one day. I wonder how long it will take to receive whatever refund amount they are willing to give. I am certain it will be far less than what I had to pay to get my daughter back home. So happy to have her home and safe but with no thanks to th customer service of scholar trip.

I made 2 bookings through scholartrip…

I made 2 bookings through scholartrip website as they were recommended for students. Both of my bookings were canceled for no reason. I contacted their customers support to explain why this happened, they say because of an automatic verification for fraud. I own both credit cards and I booked for my self, they should contacted me in before making any decision. The ticket price went up now and they asked to book with the new price, I think that’s their way to scam people, they want us to book using a higher price. Please be careful students don’t book with this called scholar trip, most of the positive reviews are written by their team.

Not a better deal.

My daughter is in Amsterdam and trying to change a flight to get home before holiday rush. Their fare difference quote was 2900. On the delta website the price difference is roughly $450. What is the point of being a travel agency if you aren’t providing cost benefits to customers? Ridiculous. Save yourself, and your agency money, and skip this company’s

Very responsive and helpful!

I was emailing back and forth with Emely, she got back to me very quickly and answered all my questions. She was able to contact the airline and reschedule my ticket within the same day. Wonderful service!

Shady tactics

Raised the price last minute before checkout, and requested photos of government ID and credit card in order to complete the booking. Chose to cancel the order and find a different vendor rather than send sensitive documents via email.

Scholar trip messed up my flight

Scholar trip messed up my flight itinerary not once but twice, with over a year's worth of time to plan accordingly. I was forced to pay nearly $3k at the airport to rebook my entire trip because ScholarTrip completely fumbled the situation. Now, it has taken them over two months to follow through on issuing me my refund. Customer support is ABSENT. They are not reaching out to me with updates; I have to initiate all communication, and even when I do, they have NO information. At least 5 people have responded to my emails, but no one seems to be getting anything accomplished. I would not recommend their services.

Mellan's Great Work

Yesterday, I was helped by Mellan over the phone. He did an amazing job listening to what my problem was, and finding my flights that I couldn't book on the website. When the updated fare did not fit my budget, he again put in the time and effort to find flights that did so. He was overall very helpful and I am grateful for the care he took to help me book my flights.

Bogus website

Wasn't any cheaper than Aer Lingus and was a hassle to get the flight confirmed. Then they added a 20 dollar charge to the ticket after it was confirmed.

Overall

Overall, the job is well done but I guess I only give you three stars because it's either the internet is slow and lagging or you're too busy. Also, because I have three different quotes, and it finally got the latest and highest price. In another words, if I got my original price quote or the service a little faster, I would give you 5 stars.

Not good experience

No airlines ask you to send credit card copy and your government ID for credit card and Passenger ID. But, this website does ask. However, I end up sending those copies and details. It took 2 hours all those process then they said flight ticket increased $50 more. I asked them to cancel and booked somewhere else without paying extra and also without sending any credit card copy or ID. Just wasted time. Thank you anyway I learn which website I should avoid next time.

Jercel was very helpful

Jercel was very helpful! His email format on flights with prices and all the options made it very easy for me to understand what was going on. He remembered my concerns at hand, which made it more personal to complete my trip plans with him rather than dealing with another trip advisor and having to re-explain myself.

Not worth the hassle

Not worth the hassle. They wanted all kinds of verification including copies of passports and credit cards, and you had to verify small amounts sent to your credit card, etc.. Seemed very sketchy. Ultimately did not book because they kept asking for more and more info and I was not comfortable.
