Most unethical and unprofessional…

Most unethical and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with!! Veterans??? What a disgrace! They have a F rating with the BBB! Enough said! Read the reviews!! I wish I had!! My experience is very similar to many others unfortunately. They give you an estimated delivery window but that’s ONLY after the movers give you an actual delivery date. SEVEN weeks out and still “no ETA”. My belongings included items from my Dad’s funeral and from his funeral this year. They’re irreplaceable!!

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT trust this company

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT trust this company!!! My fiance and I trusted them with our belongings with a move from Washington State to Georgia. The first few phone calls made it seem like they were so kind and it would be great. But then when it came to the pick up date, EVERYTHING and I repeat EVERYTHING went downhill and fast. I had pickup dates between Tuesday-Wednesday. I got a call on Monday stating they were unable to be there Tuesday and would be there Wednesday, I TRIPLE checked this and said that’s fine. I have previously taken off work and told my supervisor it turns out I’ll be in. Well come Tuesday morning I get a phone call from the movers saying they will be at my house in 30 minutes. So that caused an entire problem, when they were done I told the movers we will be in GA May 14th, no sooner as we were driving across the country. They called a few days later before I had even left WA stating they will be in GA the next day. After a whole bunch of phone calls they admitted they screwed up and would hold our stuff till we got there. Now we are in GA and they are trying to extort me for an extra $1,000 just to get my stuff delivered. I told them absolutely not paid them and decided to go pick my stuff up at the storage unit. I get to the storage unit to find it is ONLY 1/4 of our belongings. I had to make multiple phone calls to get anyone on the phone. I finally got Yoheli on the phone and she told me our stuff got separated and she will get it to us the following weekend. Weekend came and went and guess what? No delivery. I’ve sent so many emails only getting minimal responses lying saying our belongings are on the way and they never show. I’ve made hundreds of phone calls and they don’t ever answer. They lost $50,000 worth of our belongings, our life and they don’t care. This company is a massive SCAM. Do not trust them. Do not make the massive mistake my family and I did. I lost things that I will never be able to get back, things that were priceless. Legal action is in the works because this is not okay.

FRAUDS AND CRIMINALS - ACTUALLY SAFE HANDS RELOCATION LLC

First I would like to point out that this criminal company Safe Hands Relocation LLC out of Daytona Beach Florida changed this Trustpilot profile to a completely different company “Safe Hands Medical Transport” to bury the real life experiences of dozens of victims. I have screenshot everything and will share this with all parties we are working with. Now our story in a nutshell. My husband and I have experienced Bait and Switch, Extortion, Theft, Forgery and endless gaslighting and lies. Our move began with our quote of $9300 after a detailed list and measurements of all items. No we didn’t add, we actually deducted. After our house was loaded but before they moved into the garage, they stopped work and demanded $5600 more. We tried to argue and push back but we were only met with “you can leave the rest”. We paid for packing, they did a horrific job. Their communicated delivery window is nothing but lies to get you to send a deposit and sign a contract. After two deliveries (well outside the window) we have 11K in damages and over 22K in stolen goods. It has been over 3 months and nothing. They sent us a form that they claimed we signed. We did not. Thanks to the good support team at the software company they use, we were able to access the data and have proof of the forgery. Game on. Any potential customers reading this, run. Read the 1 star reviews. They are all true. The people that work for this company have a legit criminal history, are couples and cover or deflect for each other. If you are a fellow victim and are looking for guidance or a shoulder, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me on Facebook, Natalie Rizzo-Stevens. I know all too well what you are going through and how violating this is. By far and away the worse experience of my life. Know that you are sadly not alone, there are many of us.

Totally unsatisfied

I had a contract with a broker to move my apartment which was sub-contracted to Safe Hands Relocation LLC. Pickup driver started talking nicely when he arrived but in few minutes he turned different and start asking for more money. I had no choice but to agree. Example - I had professionally evaluated Cu ft of boxes / space and he demanded that it is 100 Cu ft less than what he believes. I ended up paying for 100 Cu ft more. Once they picked up the goods, there was no communication at all as to when goods will be delivered despite numerous calls and text messages. Similarly, when they delivered the goods, the driver started asking more money saying that distance from the truck to the apt is more than 75 linear feet. Literally, the elevator was less than 10 ft and apt was less than 15 ft. I strongly refused to pay for anything as it was very clear in contract that apt is on the 3rd floor with freight elevator and less than 25 ft. When they delivered, few things were damaged and a couple of items were missing. I called the office more than 15 - 20 times to respond. Finally, they sent me the claim form which I filled out immediately with evidence. Since then there has been no response except once they said they will get back to me within a couple of hours. It has been weeks now. I would STRONGLY recommend to stay away from them.

BAIT AND SWITCH

Horrible experience. Extremely frustrating trying to get ahold of anyone to answer any questions. Paid double the initial quote. A week before pick up we sent a detailed list of all of our belongings with measurements (our inventory increased so we had to pay more, which we understood and paid, no questions asked). Day of pick up the movers loaded our boxes and 2/3 of our couch and then told us they can’t add any more to the truck until we pay them an additional $2600 more than what we were quoted. On day of pickup we actually had less inventory than what we sent the week prior so it made no sense that we magically had double the cubic feet. When our stuff arrived the movers told us they didn’t even work for safe hands and they were contracted out. Which we were told Safe Hands didn’t do. Chose this company because it was cheaper than a pod/uhaul and had great google reviews and a good “early booking deal” but it ended up being way more money and a huge headache. Based on yelp reviews, it seems like we weren’t the only ones dealing with this nightmare of a company. They spend more time replying to bad reviews than they do taking care of their current customers it seems.

Complete headache

Complete headache. Was passed around between multiple people the whole process. Was told from the start that they dont use third party movers and that was not the case. The movers didnt call to let me know they were a hour away as promissed. Two men arrived at my home with my underage daughter home alone. Found out over a week and a half later our things were stil in storage in California and roxy was extremely rude when she was the only one responding. Could never get ahold of costumer service. My family had some very unfortunate events happen so our items once moved were put into a local storage and as my husband and i were bringing our item home we noticed things that were dropped and missing pieces to bed that we now have to buy new beds. Still we are unable to get ahold of anyone at this company to try to figure out something. Just a huge headache. My advice find another company or do it yourself. Very disappointed in the whole process!

Worst company to give your business to

I have recently learned that safe hands relocation pay for their reviews which is still hard to believe, but going through what I’m going through with this company, I’m starting to believe it. I booked this company for my move from Florida to Indiana, Chris did his best until he finally convinced me to book them thinking that they would get the job done. Everyone was so nice up until they got my money and my belongings. They gave me a quote and I signed a contract for that quote but upon picking up, they changed the price on me, up to $1300 extra, when I refused to pay it, they threatened to keep my $700 deposit. I was already overwhelmed, I just agreed and I continued with it. The driver told me it would be delivered in two days! It’s been 20 days since they picked up my belongings, and I haven’t heard from a single soul. I already paid them most of the money upfront, now, nobody is returning my calls, or my email, I have reached out to Ryan, Roxy, Chris, Jack, and nobody have the decency to get back to me on where my things are or when should I expect to receive them. I have so many expensive items in those boxes and safe hands relocation will pay, even if it’s the last thing I do. This is ridiculous. How are you veteran and family owned and this is how you’re operating? I work really hard for my money and I’ll be damned if I let some dishonest people scammed me out of over $2,000 in cash plus $10,000 plus in merchandise. My attorney is handling the case, but in the meantime I feel like I should warn others about using this company for their move. Please do your research and take heed to the negative reviews because they are the real reviews!

****DO NOT USE THIS MOVER!!****

****DO NOT USE THIS MOVER!!**** We have had an extremely frustrating experience with this company so far and there is still no resolution. We contracted Safe Hand Relocation to move our belongings from Highland, CA to Knoxville, TN. During the initial quoting process we were asked to provide a detailed list of what was needing to be moved including all dimensions. I went through our home and measured out everything we were going to have the movers take and provided a very detailed list of all the items and specific measurements for each one. This came to an initial quote of about 1600 cubic feet. When the mover showed up they started telling us we had a lot of bulky things and that though they would not charge for the “Bulky Items Fee” they would be charging for the space. The Foreman came up with a number totaling 2500 cubic feet without ever measuring anything or even starting to load the truck. This was a significant increase in the total price but we were leaving our home by the end of the week and didn’t feel we had any options. I understand that things don’t always stack perfectly but the list of all the items showed exactly what we had and needed to move. The movers arrived on July 29th, 2025. We were told we would get a call a day prior to them arriving, but that did not happen. I received a call from a random number on the 29th at 6AM which I missed / ignored. No message was left letting me know it was the mover. I ended up messaging the dispatcher later that morning and was informed that they had tried to reach out. She was able to provide the number for the Foreman and I was able to contact them to coordinate the move that day. At the time, we did not have an estimated delivery date for our belongings as we were still in the process of selling our home and finding a new one in Tennessee. We were told that the first month of storage would be included in the price and any additional time needed would be an additional charge, which we agreed to. Once we were established in Tennessee we were able to provide an address for them to deliver our belongings. We provided Summer with our delivery address on August 15th, 2025. I did not get a response from Summer until August 21st asking if I was ready to start the delivery process, which I replied yes. By this point I had already received a message from their Foreman on August 17th asking if I was ready for delivery to which I replied yes and provided them with the delivery address. I was told on the 17th that our belongings would be loaded potentially by that coming Wednesday - Friday and out to us soon after. The Foreman stated they could provide more detail the following day. I did not hear back from the Foreman until August 21st, in which he said our items were scheduled to be loaded the following day and to allow 4 to 6 days for delivery. It is now Tuesday, September 2nd and we still have no idea if our belongings are loaded and on their way, or if they are still sitting in a warehouse in California and we can’t get any updates from anyone. The bulk of the communication with this company has been through text. You can almost never get someone on the phone. This is a major concern considering the company has our lives held hostage in a warehouse or a truck somewhere and we can get zero information from them. The only benefit to that is that I have all the documented conversations on my phone that are named, timestamped, and easily accessible. At this point we feel like we have paid them close to $7000 to steal our things. This company also claims to be Veteran owned, which I am not disputing and proud to support. However, noting about this company reflect well in that regard. I would expect honesty, integrity, transparency, communication, honor, service, accountability from a veteran owned company. This company has none of that. The level of stress and frustration this has caused my wife and me is unmeasurable and unreasonable. There may be other movers tied to this company that do well, but our experience with Summer and the Foreman in Southern California had been absolute garbage. If the owner of the company would like to reach out and help with a resolution I would be glad to update this review. Our BOL is 6294470. At this point, we just want our belongings back and to not have to deal with this company anymore. It has been two weeks since we have provided a delivery address. We will be filing complaints with the BBB and FMCSA.

I paid and they did NOT show up to move me

I booked my move with a hard move date due to leaving the state. I paid my 1/3 deposit and signed with this company due to being a veteran owned and veteran friendly company. I was given 2 potential days to move prior to my deadline. I was concerned leading into the 2 day window since I had not heard from the dispatcher. I was assured that I was on the schedule for the 2 day window. I contemplated getting a refund with the 72 hour window and more assurances were provided to me. I should have listened to my feelings. The first day of the potential pickup came and no one reached out or showed up. The second morning came and I started calling them to see when they were coming to move my studio apartment across the country. I had a 7 AM flight for the next morning and needed them to come through as I was assured days earlier. I was finally able to reach someone and they were working on the schedule for that day still a d would get back to me. Then late in the afternoon, I got a text saying that they could not make it. I was offered a refund over text and accepted given my flight and my clear expectations from the beginning about the move. Now the company is not answering my calls or emails about the refund. They are keeping the funds for a move they DID NOT make. I had to move myself across the country at my own expense. It has been 2 months and still no answer. I am confused how this makes sense to anyone as a way to do business. Please use other alternatives for your moving needs. Even if you paid as instructed, they might not show, and the money is a struggle to get returned, if I can get it at all.

O Stars

Update: instead of taking accountability or contacting me in any way, this company has now blocked me and is completely unresponsive. Extremely unprofessional. Look out for their AI generated photos showing “happy customers” and the fake profiles that they are paying to leave fake reviews Reached out for my move from FL to CO and unfortunately had the same experience as many other reviews. I was advised that my move would cost an estimated $2300 and to not worry about not having an accurate amount of boxes as if I added 10-20 more, it would only be an additional $200-300. When questioning about insurance, I was told that my items would be insured up to $10,000 per item. After providing measurements of my furniture and my updated box amount, my estimate then went up to $1000. This steep increase completely took me by surprise as I was only going to use Safe Hands due to them being competitive with UHaul prices… this was no longer the case. My downpayment was $1237, for a pickup date listed as June 11-12th. The estimates that I signed listed that “ Estimates may be canceled penalty free and deposits are fully refundable only if the customer cancels the move in writing during the 3 day window immediately after Bill of Lading is signed.” The Bill of Lading was sent to me on June 10th, and I was advised that movers could not be scheduled for me until I signed it. This document now advised that I was not insured $10,000 per item as I was informed during the booking process, but they actually only cover $0.60 per pound, per item. I asked my dispatcher R—- (the third person I was randomly thrown to) for clarity, as if my 20lb tv was broken they’d only cover $12. She advised this was correct, but that they “sometimes” will cover more. Due to the multiple variations in what D—-y (the person who booked me) and R—- said, I decided cancelling would be the best option. I was then advised that I would not be refunded anything if I cancelled as they booked a hotel for the movers, and they were now scheduled to show up at my home at 2-4pm. How is this the case when I haven’t even signed the bill of lading that was required to proceed with scheduling? R—- advised that the Bill of Lading and the estimate that I signed were the same document, which is completely false. I was then emailed by an E—— P——, asking how I would like to proceed as movers were scheduled for me the next day. I responded back requesting a phone call, and stated if movers were scheduled we’d see them then. No phone call was returned, in fact their off shore representative told us to stop calling. No email response was received. No movers showed up. No money has been refunded. This is the biggest scam of a company. They’re not BBB accredited and in fact have an F rating. Their reviews on Facebook are fraudulent. If you click through them, they are clearly paid reviews from fake accounts. Do not trust this company. They are the classic bait and switch movers that they will warn you about with the initial phone call.

🚨 This is the second negative review from this customer regarding the same experience they had back on July 11–12. 🚨 Hello, I’d like to respond to your “update.” No one has blocked you from contacting Safe Hands Relocation. As you noted in your own review, you were in communication with multiple representatives — D**, R***, and E****. You were only removed from our business Facebook page after you and your significant other repeatedly posted inaccurate and misleading statements on more than 20 separate posts. One negative review sharing your experience is acceptable, but mass-posting false claims on unrelated posts is considered spamming. I also want to clarify that you never actually moved with Safe Hands Relocation — we never sent a truck to your home. You canceled your move on the day of your scheduled route (July 11), after booking with us on June 26. Regarding insurance, the coverage is clearly stated in the contract: up to $10,000 in total liability, calculated at the federal standard of $0.60 per pound, per article. This was never hidden — it is in writing on the documents you signed. Your claim that our photos are AI-generated is unfounded. Many of the images show our actual crews wearing Safe Hands Relocation shirts alongside real customers. The reason for your price change is straightforward. You added 20 medium boxes to your inventory, each averaging 5 cubic feet — that’s an additional 100 cubic feet of space. At your rate of $6 per cubic foot, the adjustment should have been $600 more. To help you, we reduced it to only $300. It is incorrect to say that movers are only scheduled after signing the Bill of Lading. Once you booked on June 26 for a July 11 pickup, your truck and crew were reserved. When you signed your initial binding moving estimate, you also signed the Bill of Lading — they are part of the same contract. As for your “scam” accusation — our Department of Transportation license is active, and we comply with all FMCSA requirements. We are not BBB accredited by choice, as we will not pay for ratings. BBB accreditation is not a measure of customer reviews — major companies like Walmart and McDonald’s have poor customer star ratings but still hold “A” grades because they pay for accreditation. Finally, your claim about “fake Facebook reviews” is simply incorrect. Anyone is welcome to review the profiles and see that they are legitimate. The reality is simple: your move was canceled by you, outside the penalty-free window, after resources had been scheduled. Your deposit was retained according to the signed terms.

2nd Review: My Original Review Was Removed

My original review was removed because apparently Second Hand is flagging their negative reviews. I was also approached by another website so I know this for a fact. Apparently, I used a persons name so I am resubmitting my review without any names. Trustpilot, if there is an another issue, you need to give the reviewer a chance to correct anything that goes against your "policies" before you completly remove a real legitimate review that will help people stay clear from this scam operation. They have cost a lot of people on here a lot of money and left several of us in financail ruins. People deserve to know so please do not remove this warning. WARNING!!! Do not use this company!! ABSOLUTELY ZERO STARS!!!! This is the most unprofessional, deceptive, illegal, fly by night operation I have ever encountered. For anyone that is even thinking of using this company...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I was assured by one of their employees that I would be well taken care of from start to finish. What a joke! This is one of those scam operations where they give you a bogus quote and when they start loading, they claim you have gone over and you have to pay more money. By the way, there was no way for me to verify their calculations, they just expected me to hand over more money. I’m a 64 year old disabled woman and there’s no way I can climb onto an 18 wheel truck and measure anything. This caused me to have to leave several of my larger items behind which were in the original quote (including my box springs and bed frames). I was literally sick to my stomach and in tears and they could have cared less. They just kept texting people and having them send new contracts. They stand there and will not touch anything until you Docusign a completely different agreement from the original and Zelle more money to some random person. (Zelle states not to send money to people you do not know but I had no choice since my flight was leaving the next day) I wish I had called the police like others had done. It took 13 days for our belongings to arrive. They told us it would be 3-5 days. During this time there was very little communication and all they did was lie on the whereabouts of the truck. When it finally did arrive, the driver who is a contract employee told me that the trailer broke down and he and his daughter and her friend had to unload it and reload everything onto a new one. This included not just my items but others people's items as well. Nothing was wrapped in blankets, many items were packed into different boxes or missing and damaged. The driver did not want to pay professionals to unload and had me pay him directly because he said the company owed him money and he was arguing on the phone with someone right in front of me. He, daughter and another young man unloaded. It was a complete disaster and took them 6 hours. His daughter told me she was just along for the ride because she wanted to travel. They were not professionals at all and had no idea what they were doing. The driver also demanded more money since he had to take an elevator. I had to sign another document, go to the bank and get cash before he would proceed. He would not even start unloading until I returned from the bank. I have tried to get a refund from this company for their deceptive practices but all they want to do is gaslight their customers. They spend their time writing rebuttals to all their bad reviews instead of listening to their customers and resolving complaints. I was told by the supervisor, "the bottom line is we got your stuff to you". He refused to compensate me for the money they extorted from me. I have since filed complaints with the Department of Transportation (FMCSA) and the Attorney General of Florida. This company needs to be put out of business. As expected, Safe Hands wrote their standard reply of it's your fault not ours to my first review. I am expecting the same for this one.

First, we’d like to clarify that we do not control Trustpilot or any other review platform. The removal of your prior reviews was done by Trustpilot, not by us, and appears to be a result of multiple duplicate reviews being submitted from different accounts. That behavior is a violation of their community guidelines, which is why they’ve started removing them. 📦 Inventory & Pricing Explanation Your original estimate, provided on April 1, was based on the inventory you personally gave us during the walkthrough. At that time, your inventory totaled 596 cubic feet and included: 1 Queen bed with mattress 1 Bookshelf 1 Armchair 1 Wicker chair 1 Dresser 2 Nightstands 5 Large pictures 1 TV stand 1 65” TV 75 Medium boxes This estimate covered 10 total items / 89 pieces. However, when the movers arrived, your actual load required 817 cubic feet due to additional items not originally disclosed, including: 1 Triple dresser 1 Dining table 1 Computer desk & chair 1 Coffee table 1 Buffet 1 Extra nightstand 1 Large coffee table 10-Large box`s These additions resulted in an extra 221 cubic feet, billed at your quoted rate of $5.50 per cubic foot, totaling $1,215.50 in added space charges. 📝 Contract & Payment Clarity At the time of pickup, you were informed of these changes before anything was loaded, as required by federal regulations. You then: Signed the updated contract via DocuSign Sent the additional payment via Zelle, not to a “random person,” but directly to your assigned foreman, as is standard in the moving industry. You were not forced to sign anything. You were given the option to: Proceed with only the originally quoted items Or approve and pay for the added volume You voluntarily chose the latter. 🧾 Items Left Behind Additional items beyond even the updated list—such as a second bed, mattresses, and frames—were not included because you declined to pay for more space. This was entirely your choice. The movers offered to add them on at the same rate, but you opted to leave them behind rather than incur further charges. ⏱ Delivery Timeline Your move was long-distance—1,497 miles—and your paperwork shows that your first available delivery date was April 18. As clearly stated in your signed agreement, delivery windows for this distance range from 10 to 14 business days from the first available date. You were picked up on April 13 and delivered on April 26, only 13 days later, including weekends. This is within the contracted window, and in fact, your delivery occurred just 8 calendar days after your first available date. At no time did we guarantee a 3–5 day delivery. What was explained is that delivery typically happens 3–5 days after the first available delivery date, which was accurate in your case. 👷 Delivery Team & Payment At delivery, your driver was accompanied by two female helpers—not related to him. These were professional laborers hired to assist with unloading. Your suggestion that this was unprofessional or informal is untrue. The driver did request the final payment before unloading, which is also clearly stated in the contract. You were not charged any extra fees at delivery. In fact, the elevator fee was waived, and you paid only the agreed-upon amount. 💬 Final Notes A $500 discount was already applied at pickup to help offset the added charges. You spoke with multiple customer service agents, including a dispatch supervisor, throughout your move. You knowingly signed every contract and approved every charge. Your items were delivered over 1,400 miles away within the agreed timeline.

Not Sure Where To Begin

Not sure where to even begin. This company has been full of lies, hitting us with surprise fees even after giving them an itemized list a week prior (And only telling us of the price difference AFTER loading most of our home), incredibly poor communication, insurmountable damage to what was actually delivered, and various missing pieces of furniture, clothing, family heirlooms and jewelry, which they have still never given us an answer to. There has also never been an on time employee for pickup or eventual deliveries (Which are usually long-haul drivers just picking up extra work with this company in rented box trucks). Our first truck came at 8 pm on a school night and the second came almost a week later on a Sunday at 7 pm, after both stating they’d be in between 7 to 9 am the day prior. Now mark my words, they will most likely respond here, like the previous responses, with denials, acting confused about who this review refers to, and/or blatant lies about “what really happened”, but every interaction with this company has been documented on our side and is being reviewed, regardless of their responses, so we know all the facts. Stay away if you truly value your personal belongings. **In response to the company’s reply: 1. There were no “attempted” calls to verify an updated inventory assurance. An email was sent from myself with all measurements included and an email, from you, stating that you believed all looked well from here (It’s all documented), and so as the customer, we felt that this communication was sufficient to confirm there wouldn’t be price changes as you were the “professional”. I even removed a refrigerator and a washer and dryer from the original list because we decided that those items would be staying behind. 2. As far as us willingly paying the extra amount without dispute or objection, that’s unbelievably comical for you to say, considering all the evidence we have from those twos days swing extremely to the contrary. You allowed your movers to load almost our entire 5 bedroom house before saying anything about a price change. What decision can we realistically have when most of our home is loaded and then everything stops, after banking hours mind you, until we pay the new balance? It was heading into the evening at this point and our only other choice would be to have everything unloaded, disorganized, try to get a refund, AND find another interstate moving company that night? You held us hostage with multiple opportunities for communication to be made to prevent that from happening. Your mover even came the day before to “wrap” our large items. Any professional mover would know if there were issues then and there, but nothing was said even then. 3. I never, at any point, stated that I’d ever want evening or even afternoon deliveries. That is an absolute farce. Why on earth would someone moving across states, with a large family, want to get their day started towards the end of the day? There is multiple points of evidence here as well confirming am pickups and deliveries, followed by delay after delay every single time. 4. We will still be contacting you on our damage, but I find it interesting that you can already “deem” our damage as only light scratches when you also state that you still need pictures to verify damage. We do not have any other “provider” either and I have no idea what you mean there, but that’s been the M.O. of your entire business. Also, we were told last week that we could only submit “damaged” items and that missing items would need to go through customer service. Did that change as well now? 5. I felt truly bad for your contracted delivery drivers as on both occasions, they were absolutely ashamed to be unloading the catastrophe that was put into the box trucks that they had to drive. Once again, for those reading this review as well as all the other negative reviews here, is this the experience you want from a moving company? Gaslighting, property damage or loss, and deflection?

Safe Medical Transport

Hi Justin, Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We’d like to respond to each point with transparency and facts based on our records and communications with you. 1. Inventory and Price Adjustment When you initially booked your move, no detailed inventory was provided. You simply stated that 2,000 cubic feet would be enough to accommodate your entire move. We based your estimate on that number. A week prior to your move, we attempted to complete a quality assurance call to review your actual inventory, but you declined. As a result, our team arrived without an updated list, and your items exceeded the space originally reserved. You were informed of the overage and willingly paid the additional deposit without dispute or objection at the time. 2. Communication You spoke with multiple agents throughout the process. While we understand the frustration of not having an exact delivery date, please note that all customers are provided with a 7–10 day delivery window for long-distance moves. No moving company can guarantee an exact date without additional expedited services. Your delivery from Colorado to Arizona (853 miles) was completed within that promised timeframe. 3. Damaged Items & Insurance You purchased additional full-value protection insurance from a third-party provider, which was a smart decision. As we’ve explained, you cannot file claims through both us and the third-party provider. Our standard cargo insurance covers up to $0.60 per pound, while your private policy should offer significantly more comprehensive coverage. According to your own provider, the items you reported as “damaged” were deemed to have only light scratches or minor cosmetic wear—not enough to be covered under their policy. When you came to us afterward, our insurance provider reached the same conclusion. Despite this, we’re still open to reviewing the matter further. As of today, August 4, we have not received a completed claims form from you, nor any photos or a list of missing or damaged items. If you’d like us to advocate further on your behalf, please send that information to claims@safehandsrelocations.com. 4. Delivery Times & Drivers Your shipment required two separate trucks because an 18-wheeler could not access your delivery location. Both deliveries occurred in the timeframe discussed, and you were given options for morning or evening windows—both times, you chose evening delivery. We understand the inconvenience, but we delivered within the promised window. As for the drivers, we work with licensed, independent contractors—many of whom operate their own moving businesses but work exclusively under our authority and contracts. This is standard practice in the industry and allows us to cover the entire lower 48 states efficiently. We’re not denying your experience—we’re simply providing the full context. You were delivered within the agreed window, paid for the correct volume of space, and have not yet submitted documentation to support the claim of damage or loss. We want to help resolve this, but we need your cooperation. Again, please send any photos and a full list of missing or damaged items to claims@safehandsrelocations.com, and we’ll be happy to assist further. Sincerely, Safe Hands Relocation LLC

How many more zero star reviews will be…

This COMPANIES LONG REPLY TO MY SHORT COMPLAINT IS FALSE/NOT ACCURATE. The contract numbers were under quoted/bid. Typical of some movers. MY contract contained an itemized list of my big items...including big items they left behind. YOU DIDN'T CONTACT ME TO DISCUSS. Completely shocked/blindsided. They were contacted if I remembered anything. Contract total remained at $3736.51 plus $350.00 for packing loose items. Paid to date: $3236.51. Upon delivery i will owe $850.00 for a contract total=$4086.51 and they want more? I was called retarded, my messages are crazy. Agencies recommended I contact FBI. These are professionals? I'm 72 yo, on ssi and trusted this family and so called veteran owned company to give me honest service. Actual Veterans would not conduct business ripping off ANYONE BUT ESPECIALLY SENIORS. They knew long before my pickup they would not be picking up everything without additional cost. I should have been notified LONG ahead of pickup not at pickup. I would have made other arrangements much less stressful than dealing with this company. Google them read the many zero star ratings, Yelp, this platform TrustPilot, BBB sent them a letter of my complaint...no response giving them an F rating stating 40 previous complaints had no response and/or unresolved. why is my allowable response space much shorter compared to the novel this company posted. WARNING, SAVE YOURSELF, BELONGINGS, MONEY...DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION! I don't understand why they haven't been shut down. I can't express my devastation and feeling of loss this company has cost me. $4,000 PLUS my hard work paying for my collections are now gone. I won't be rebuilding what i have lost, no starting over at my age...i know dramatic but unfortunately true. I hope I never have to use professional movers again. SHAMEFUL COMPANY/OWNERS AND EMPLOYEES. TRUSTPILOT: NOT ENOUGH SPACE FOR HONEST REPLY.

To clarify for anyone reading: You initially signed up with us on January 18, 2024, but due to financial hardship, you weren’t able to make your full deposit upfront. Instead, we worked with you for over a year, allowing you to send $100 monthly payments until your full deposit of $1,036.51 was finally paid. You then continued sending monthly payments toward your remaining balance of approximately $2,700, which we accepted in good faith—without applying penalties, interest, or enforcing cancellation. Once your account met the minimum threshold to be dispatched, your items were picked up from your California storage unit on June 16, 2025. At the time of pickup, there were additional charges totaling $500 for boxes and long carry fees due to limited truck access. Since you did not have the funds to pay that $500 at the time, we extended you 30 days of free storage as a courtesy to give you time to come up with the remaining balance. As of today, that $500 balance still remains unpaid, and you have not made a single payment toward it. So if the balance from pickup is still outstanding, why would you expect us to proceed with delivery—especially when you’ve also admitted that you don’t have the final delivery balance either? You are essentially demanding that we complete a 1,945-mile long-distance delivery, without having paid the balance from pickup and without any payment plan or commitment for the final delivery payment. It’s not reasonable to expect a company to complete a service of this scale with multiple outstanding balances and no resolution in place. Regarding the items left behind: When our crew arrived, they found significantly more items in your unit than were originally declared and paid for. You stated that you hadn’t visited the unit in over a year and didn’t know what was there. You were informed that the additional items exceeded the space you had paid for and that they would need to be left behind unless you covered the extra cost. You acknowledged this and made the decision to proceed with the items that fit within your prepaid space. Now that the pickup has been completed, you are asking us to return to California to retrieve the leftover items—without paying for the additional trip, and while still owing money from the original pickup. Additional context: You have contacted our team between 4 a.m. and 11 p.m., sending dozens of messages at a time. Your messages have included abusive language, personal threats, and mentions of involving the FBI. Despite this, our staff has remained professional and continued communication with you in an effort to resolve the matter. We are still willing to work with you to complete the delivery once the $500 balance is resolved. If you’d like us to return to California to retrieve the remaining items, we’re happy to provide a quote for that as a separate move. But we cannot proceed with any unpaid work, especially on a long-distance move spanning nearly 2,000 miles. We welcome honest feedback, but accusing us of being “scammers” after the extraordinary patience, flexibility, and support we’ve extended since January 2024 is simply false and unfair. We hope you’ll reconsider your approach and work with us toward a respectful and realistic resolution

Please don’t waste your time or money

Please don’t waste your time or money, They miscommunicated so many times throughout the process. The driver that picked up lied to my face. It was the worst experience. On the day of pickup, I was given a time frame for arrival ..yet they arrived at least 45 minutes before the time they stated and I had 3 fussy children I was trying to feed before they arrived. They mover goes through our items and advises that we have more boxes than expected so we told him to take what was on the original contract because that was the most important items and what was left we would figure out. Instead of doing this they loaded as many boxes as they could and only a couple of the items that were listed. When we mentioned this he complained and said he really didn’t want to have to unload anything and reload. I ended up having to leave many furniture items because he just kept saying it wouldn’t fit even though those items were on the original contract and measured .. we also advised these items were a priority. When they finished loading I told him I was planning to fly out and my husband was already there at the delivery address so I asked when we should expect the items and he gave us the date so I booked the flight for my children and I. He knew I was pregnant and had 3 small children and was worried about having my bed and the beds for my children when I arrived and again assured me that they would be there before we arrived. We booked out flight for the night after the date given because we were told we would have the items by then, I then get a call from my husband that day that they changed the date so I rebooked our flight for a few nights later. We ended up leaving Saturday (a whole week after pickup) because of unforeseen circumstance's and when I arrived our items had still not been delivered. I was pretty upset with the idea of sleeping on an air mattress while pregnant and my children sleeping on the floor but I thought okay maybe it’ll just be one night. WELL that was definitely not the case. We called and called for days and just got voicemails, I emailed all the emails we had and only received a response from a team member who advised me of the 10-14 bus day policy, I told her this information was never given to us and she kept saying it was. I looked through all the emails and there was definitely no mention of this. I asked her if she can at-least give me a date to expect my items and she said she couldn’t but she would contact customer service and have them contact me, I also asked for their email and phone number so I could try to reach them. Well, they never contacted me, I called and was met with a voicemail box every time, I left countless voicemails no call back and no response via email either. She advised they probably haven’t contacted because they didn’t have a truck yet? We were uncomfortable so we decided to visit family. While there we get a call at 9:15 am from a driver advising us that our items were expected to be delivered in an hour and 1/2.. I have read some responses from the company stating that once the truck departs, you receive an update with an estimate date, followed by a 24-hour notice prior to arrival. We did not receive this at all. We had no calls, no emails from them advising us and we were hours away. We end up driving back home and they deliver the items and the team that unloaded was very kind but clearly contracted so they couldn't answer any questions or concerns we had. I get my items a whole week after we arrived so almost 2 weeks after the original date. I was tired of all the crying and stress and didn't want to potentially cause harm to my baby so I tried to stay positive and thought well at least it's all here. Wrong again... I go to set up our beds and my bed frame is missing and my toddlers crib is missing pieces as well so I’m pregnant and sleeping on my mattress on the floor and my toddler as well. I contacted them to start a claim for my missing items and was told I needed to wait 2 more weeks to see if they can locate the items. I am beyond angry at this point. I explained to them that I am pregnant and it's really difficult to get up and down off the floor. The response was "well the items are often unloaded and reloaded so these things happen" sounds like an excuse to me. I paid a lot of money for these items. Please .. if you care about your items and don't want them to be potentially lost or damaged, go with a different company or move the items yourself. I regret ever agreeing to work with this company. UPDATE: They lost my $500 bedframe and pieces to a $400 crib are offering me $90. o& I’m sorry to the person whose items were delivered to me, I have someone else things in my garage. *In response to the company: Pickup up was the 14th and we advised that my husband was at the delivery location and was available anytime, we never told the movers we weren’t available until the 21st.

First off, I want to address your complaint. You mentioned “miscommunication,” but that was because the movers arrived 45 minutes early, not late. We use GPS tracking, which provides live ETA updates. Of course, if they stop for food, fuel, or hit traffic, that may adjust the time slightly. In your case, we advised you to be prepared for June 13th or 14th, and when we narrowed it down, we gave you a time window. The crew simply made good time and arrived earlier than expected. Now, regarding the delivery timeline: your contract clearly states that for a 1,442-mile move, we ask for 10–14 business days from your first available delivery date, excluding weekends and holidays. If you’re available right away, the delivery process starts immediately. But if you had told the movers you wouldn’t be available until June 21st, then that would’ve been the first eligible delivery date. You were picked up on the 13th/14th and your items were delivered 11 business days later, well within the contract window. We always advise customers not to book flights around delivery dates because even if we aim for a specific window, delays due to mechanical issues, weather, or other jobs can occur. Roxy remained in contact with you during the delivery process, but the issue was that you kept requesting an exact date, which we never provide for shared moves. The driver may have given you a goal date, but again, delivery ETAs are not guarantees. Regarding the pickup and loading, the reason items were left behind is because you had more inventory than what was originally submitted to us. You were offered two options: (1) add the additional space at the same per-cubic-foot rate, or (2) leave those extra items behind. You chose to leave them. The driver did not pick random boxes—he packed what fit in the agreed space. Some additional boxes were used only because you had loose items and unpacked materials (e.g., clothes, lamps, etc.), which cannot be loaded unsecured into a shared truck. Your move did not fill an entire truck, and that’s exactly why your price was so low. The driver had to load, unload, and reload multiple times based on your changing decisions. That’s likely what you perceived as “complaining,” but he was doing his job as best he could given the shifting instructions. Now regarding your statement about delivery delays—your delivery was completed in under two weeks (11 business days), which again falls well within the 10–14 business day range. Our crews don’t work 24/7. Expecting a 1,400+ mile delivery in 24–48 hours on a shared truck isn’t realistic unless you pay for a dedicated direct move, which costs significantly more. That’s why you were quoted under $3,000 instead of closer to $7,000+. Your repeated calls and emails were received, and you were responded to. You just weren’t getting the answer you wanted—an exact date—which we cannot and do not provide. There’s a big difference between “lack of communication” and “not getting a specific commitment.” As for the delivery notification, we understand you didn’t receive a full 24-hour heads-up. That can be frustrating, and we apologize. Still, your delivery was successful, and the crew got your items inside. Lastly, regarding your missing or damaged items: you are covered under the insurance you chose—standard cargo at $0.60/lb per article. You declined full-value protection. While we understand a crib or bed may be worth more, the payout is based on weight, not retail cost. This is clearly outlined in your contract. We’re still trying to locate the bed frame piece. If it’s not found, your claim will be processed per your coverage. Damages can happen in long-distance moves due to shifting during transit, and while unfortunate, that risk is understood and signed for in every agreement. In closing, this situation stemmed from misunderstood expectations, not failure on our part. Your move was completed on time, under budget, and within the exact terms of the contract.
