SELLS UNSAFE VEHICLES and charges you to fix
SELLS UNSAFE VEHICLES, AVOID! We had a vehicle delivered for $399. Upon the initial drive, it experienced "death wobble" -- violent front end instability at 55+ mph (along with a failed hybrid system, and broken hood latches). Took it to the dealer and it needed over $2200 in repairs. We declined citing death wobble as likely chronic, and asked for return under the 7 day warranty. Car was picked up from the dealer almost a week later. Ruby debited over $2000 on our refund for return transport (yes, 5x the original fee) on an unsafe vehicle. This wasn't cosmetic, or preference but a NHTSA recognized safety defect on a vehicle with a "pre-sale inspection". Unless you like haircuts from the finance dept. avoid them like the plague. UPDATE: Ruby is reportedly refunding the bulk of the transport fee on the return. Still the most expensive test drive on a supposedly “inspected” vehicle ever. We are out $800 plus interest on the note. Crazy business practice.

I did have to purchase a new battery because it was DOA but I was setup with Margie who quickly got a reimbursement plan setup for me. I would like to thank all parties involved. I had never heard of Rubycar by Avis until I was wanting to trade my F-250 in mint condition for a equalto or better Suburban. I tried to trade locally, but the car dealers in NW Arkansas are basically crooks. So, I went on the internet. Rubycar kept popping up. I called and talked to a very knowledgeable AND professional salesperson at Rubycar by the name of Richard. After trading a few pictures we talked trade money and just like that I saved about $6,000 and got exactly what I wanted. They delivers the suburban 2 weeks ago and will be picking up the F-259 on Monday. This is a very fair and precise company. I have 3 vehicles and when I trade my next one in, it will be through Rubycar and the sales person will only be Richard. These people have integrity. My locals don’t. So, if your in the need for a used vehicle, I would call Richard at Rubycar every time. Thank you, Rubycar and thank you Richard

I made a purchase less than a month ago and the process was way easier than I expected. I was approved so quickly that o taught this wasn’t real. Jenn was my contact and everyone else I have spoke was all very friendly and helpful. I already gave their information for a couple people that I know are car searching. July 2025 purchase. Five stars to Ruby. We needed a reliable car urgently and tried Ruby because it was online and had plenty of choices for under $20,000. We selected a Chevrolet Malibu 2024. You need to do a wire transfer which is a bit scary but not before going through a full contract signing process and connecting with several people so it did not seem like a scam. We chose a local car to speed up delivery and the whole process took 8 days. We picked up the car from an Avis shop. Temp tags are currently on the car. The sales, contracts and delivery people have all been excellent and responsive. The car looked like new. Spotless. We will buy again from Ruby

By far the worst car buying experience ever. Cars are not inspected as described. Never sends your reimbursement money back to you. I’m taking the car off the delivery truck straight to the shop for repairs. No one helps you. DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE. SHOP LOCALLY.

Ready for an amazing but true story? I went online to Avis-Ruby Cars and found a Mazda my wife and i like at a decent price. I went through a sales person, spent hours online with their crappy software and finally got approved and went to the finance dept. She promised she would call that day. Didnt. So, i called and emailed her the next day. No response. I called the following day and Josh informed me my finance person was no longer there had a trade in and said he would help. Back to the crappy software for 3 hours and they extend me terms from a bank. Not bad. I put down my deposit and have a delivery date. Josh calls me the next day to tell me someone put the wrong car value in their system and they would need another $5,000 for a deposit or a cosigner. So i cosign for my wife and guess what? They need $5,000 additional. They dinged my wifes credit 17 points and mine for 12. I would think SERIOUSLY about doing business with these clowns.

My process started with an excellent and dedicated agent by the name of Marco. He reached out and informed me of the opportunity to purchase the rental I was currently in. He didn’t know, but this was perfect timing for me! As we began the process, he was very thorough with information and how everything would go. Once we got through that he transferred me to a fantastic agent named Juan. Juan worked tirelessly to get me proper financing that worked with my budget. I was very pleased with how swiftly, proper, and efficient these two agents were. Awesome job guys! I even have a friend who’s interested just based off my experience! That speaks volumes!
