Based on a relative's recommendation, I just started working with this company today; and I don't have a good feeling about doing business with them. I was switched between 5 different people (who literally all sounded like the same person to me). The first person IMMEDIATELY handed me off to someone else, who wanted details about my income and my bank accounts. I asked a simple question of the fourth individual--who I thought would finally be the last person that I had to speak to, and he transferred me to the "Senior Compliance person" who, and I am not making this up, did not address the question that I had asked of the call transferer. When I asked the question of him directly, he hesitated; then gave me an answer which was not an answer in any way. By this time, I had already made a payment--which the contract states is THE fee for the services, only to read elsewhere that other fees could potentially be asked for. High pressure. Lots of promises. I initially made contact with someone three days ago but couldn't proceed due to a personal emergency. When I called back the next day to get information so that I could proceed if it looked like a good opportunity for me to get out from under some of the tax debt that I owe, my call was forwarded to voice mail. This happened every time that I called for the next three days (no matter how many times I called--and I had told him that I would be calling back the next day to begin the process). Today, Friday, I called for what was going to be the last time, and while I was about to hang up, another call came in from a different phone number--it was the person that I had been calling for the past three days. I thought that was strange because, I was calling him from what was supposedly his direct number--which he had answered three days prior: but I shrugged it off. I explained to him why I had had to end the previous call so abruptly; and he--as he had tried to do the first time--hurriedly pushed me off to his "onboarding team". I was annoyed that he had found it necessary to share the reason why I had backed out of the first call with this new person whom I had never spoken to before. It was a personal and emotional reason which this second individual did not need to know in order to help me. However, it affected my focus, and, in hindsight, I believe, it contributed to the amount of pressure applied and questionable promises made. Once my head cleared, I searched online for information on the company, which, had it been identified by name when I called the first time, I would have researched. I see that there is only one five-star review. How can that be with the high overall rating? I hope that whoever is reading this review is doing it beforehand and will look into this company further before calling them.

Don't be fooled. Priority Tax Relief is a predatory company. They have continued to send fraudulent tax lien notices to me (despite there being no government record and the city, state, AND county listed all contradicting each other on their mailed notice).Don't let them scare you. They'll push the urgency, they "look it up on public record", and they'll "find something". Let me be the proof- I've called the tax offices they say I owe and they told me otherwise.Beyond being scammers, their agents are bigots. When I pointed out their inconsistencies and that I don't owe anyone money, two of them (Thomas Gomez and Clay Debord) repeatedly and aggressively told me (not a Christian, but I don't feel safe sharing what) that I "needed Jesus". They repeatedly accused me of not paying taxes despite their not actually being a lien on me.Bad people all around. Don't give them money; don't let them trick or intimidate you.(But do let them look things up in their "public record"! Apparently it costs them money every time.)

I made a mistake and was shocked at what that mistake cost me.While I was trying to call the IRS there was a notice on my phone about Priority tax relief. I called. I explained what I did wrong and with their help and guidance, I was able to get the support I needed. They were patient with me and helped me understand the process. Because of PRIORITY TAX RELIEF I didn't have to pay the amount that I had messed up. They are a life line, and I am so grateful, for the notice that I saw and took the initiative to call.
