Like an idiot I bought a second plant from them after they shipped me a half-dead plant the first time. This time the plant I purchased, a yucca, was completely INFESTED with mealybugs. I had to throw it out and I’m praying it hasn’t infected all my other plants.
My plants were thriving before I introduced two plants from Plantvine. They looked healthy when I initially unboxed, but after a few weeks one plant had a web with spider mites. The other had scales and some other creatures growing on the branches. It infected my other plants which I had to throw away. There was literally larvae and full blown WORMS in the soil. Now all my plants are gone except one very resilient bird of paradise. The whole experience was so disgusting. Also, they shipped me a plant that had its roots poking up from the pot about a half inch. It was way too small. When I repotted, I saw there was a web like mold growing in the soil due to how tightly it was packed. Just don’t buy from them unless you want to share a home with insects and jeopardize your other plants.
I purchase a plant it arrived in great shape .The plant is small and not worth the price.I could have purchased it in my area for half the price.
For one, they advertise a 45-day guarantee, but send out plants in huge boxes with zero insulation or even polyfill to protect the leaves! I ordered two plants for a loved one's birthday; it took five weeks for them to send. Upon receiving the plants, they were severely damaged, including the shipping box. They had the audacity to ask for additional photos to see if the plants would regrow? The plants lost 9/13 leaves, and that's their concern? I'll never do business with them again!
I purchased a Pothos from this company which was on a wooden post. When I went to transfer the plant from the pot I discovered the wood post was stapled to the bottom of the pot!!!The end result was that the product was not multiple, not well-established Pothos plants shoved together to create the illusion of a well-established plant.In my efforts to remove the staple from the work post, the end result was everything just falling apart with no real established root ball. I could have bought better plants for far less at a local nursery and put it together myself.Despite send the company pictures of the end result of their poor method, I got a message I had to re-pot the plants in a pot and send it back for a refund.You can rest assured I will not be doing any further business with this company. I may lose a $50-60 from this but at least I can warn others not to do business with them.
I ordered a snake plant, shipping took over a week! Do you know what happens to a plant after it sits in a box for over a week? Yup... it arrived a dying mess. When a sent a them a email (with photos) they played it down and blamed UPS all while offering no solution. Only after their snarky replies I PAID to return the plant. WORST COMPANY EVER!! And who ever sent me those snarky replies... I wish to slap the hell out of them. Not my fault you cant ship non dying plants.
I ordered several plans, from online places Plant vine was the only one with a very professional packaging, the plans were very beautiful and healthy, I received instruction how to unpack and how to care for it.I will always buy from them.
Terrible business. Don't buy from them. They sent me smelly rotten plants that had Nats. It was so bad I had yo throw them away immediately. The fertilizer was rotten. I sent them pictures of the damaged plants and told them I had to get rid of them immediately. They didn't issue me a refund and ignored my phone calls.
I had my ficus benjamina tree from Plantvine for almost exactly 4 months when it completely died. I contacted Plantvine and was told that their guarantee is only for 45 days. Not even an offer of a discount to buy another one. Do NOT buy from this company!
