Predatorial.. I'm an old disabled man on ODSP. I joined the jim on the 5th of January a day later my car broke down leaving me with no way to get there. Before the week was over I called to cancel, and they said I had to go the the jim to cancel.. I walked there in the cold and snow to cancel, and the lady said it was done.. last week Friday I walked to the grocery store to get groceries to find that they went into my account and took $41.00 of the $50.00 that I had. It was all I had. My name is David Plummer.. I live in Mississauga 1km to there dundas and bixie location.. They sent me a message today saying I owe them $122.00 + late fees.. I had to close my bank account.

Love planet fitness on Wabash in Springfield IL . Today I met Camden and Jazzie . It was busy in the planet fitness today and these two handled it great . Great customer service here and super clean . Also so love the spa here as it’s great to workout then go to the spa !

I think this gym is a great deal. They are open 24 hours a day and they are super reasonably priced . I am always able to get on machines I want and their app is a good way to make sure the club isn't crowded before going . Oh and they massage chaors red light and tanning there as well too.

I’ve been really disappointed with the red light therapy service at this gym. Several of the machines have been out of service for an extended period of time, which makes it frustrating to rely on something that’s advertised as an available amenity.On top of that, I haven’t noticed any results from the sessions I’ve been able to use. It’s hard to tell whether that’s due to inconsistent maintenance, machines not functioning properly, or simply the equipment not being effective — but either way, it hasn’t delivered what was promised.If this service is going to be promoted as part of the membership, the machines need to be consistently working and properly maintained. I hope management addresses these issues soon.

Planet fitness and gym memberships are a rip off. They won't let you cancel. Planet fitness took my money and had no remorse when I told them it over drafted my account. I am never committing to any gym membership.

Bad! Bad! Cancellation policies! & No Help! Don't do it!
My son and I signed up several months ago for planet fitness online. Then I was in a car accident and I'm partially disabled now with no transportation and I have tried to cancel this membership multiple times! not only do they not give you any way to cancel except for coming into the gym, they signed us up for a PF gym in a completely different city that we don't live in and they expect me to travel to a different city to cancel a gym membership! This makes me so furious! So they are basically just destroying people's credit so they can make a buck! Never sign up for a gym that makes it difficult for you to cancel! They will destroy your credit in the process and then send you to collection agencies. Very disappointed in planet fitness I was hoping for better!

MA Very disappointed with how my billing issue was handled at this Planet Fitness location.I re-subscribed late 2025 and was charged the $49 annual fee in November. Then in January, I was charged the $49.99 annual fee AGAIN, along with multiple monthly surcharges and even a $20 late fee — even though I only have ONE bank account and have never changed my payment information.When I tried to resolve it, I was told only the store manager, Aiden, could help. For two weeks, he was never available in person or by phone. Each time I mentioned contacting corporate, he suddenly returned my call within an hour.He admitted I was overcharged and promised a refund within two weeks. Almost 5 weeks weeks later — no refund. Instead, I was charged again. He refused to refund the $20 late fee and could not clearly explain the billing errors.Very poor customer service, lack of accountability, and extremely frustrating experience. I simply want the refund I’m owed and to stop being charged incorrectly.Corporate, please reach out to resolve this.

Because I cleaned houses for a living for over 40 years, cleanliness always stands out to me. Planet Fitness at Rio Hill, Charlottesville, Va is always very clean. Online cancellation does not work
You are now required by law to let us cancel online in Washington state. My cancellation won't go through and it is telling me to contact my home club(Bellevue) please respond to this review with a number I can text or an email that will respond. I have reported this incident to the FTC. I have now contacted BBB. I will continue to file complaints until my online cancellation is processed.

Very respectfully always so polite.. entering and also leaving! They will trap you and offer no assistance. Their gym is just like any other gym so I find that irrelevant to their rating. If you close your app account all it does is block you from using the app but has nothing to do with your membership. If you cancel your membership they will charge you for that as well. They offer affordable deals with multiple fees added. They'll reply to your emails with an email you can't reply back to. Customer service is what is important when dealing with places that have multiple competitors and PF loses on that area which makes them a 1 star business in my eyes.

Gym That Actually Feels Comfortable
I’ve honestly had a really good experience at Planet Fitness. From the moment you walk in, it just feels relaxed and welcoming. It’s not intimidating like some gyms can be. The place is usually clean, the machines are in good shape, and there’s enough equipment that I don’t feel like I’m constantly waiting around. The staff have always been friendly and approachable, which makes a big difference. For the price, you really can’t complain. It’s affordable, convenient, and just an easy place to get your workout in without any pressure. I’m glad I joined.

Planet Fitness use to have an annual membership for @ $100.00 They discontinued that for a $15 a month membership fee... I was with Planer Fitness for many many years but have CHANGED MY GYM to VASA FITNESS they have quadruple the amount of: free weighs, stationary exercise equipment, a pool, and other exercise equipment 🤔.. They charge $10 a month. Too bad PF you wanted the extra $5 and drove me away

Horrible billing system
Planet fitness as a gym is okay, and you can’t beat the price point.The one star is due to their horrible billing system, and money is not something I take lightly. On 2/18/26 (today) I got a message saying that PF were unable to take my payment. I log on to and it gives me a “we are having trouble taking payment” under billing and balance. I call the customer service number linked to the message which was redirected to their 3rd party billing company. From the minute I spoke with one of their representatives I could tell something was shady. They told me to call my local gym which is what I did. I explained that my details could not be wrong as I had copied and pasted my details from the banking app and I’ve had other subscriptions and bills come out of my account this month just fine. The manager was rude and refused to waive the $35 fee ($20 of that is their late fee), instead charging my credit card, my backup payment method on file. Well, if you had used my backup payment to take the $15 then this wouldn’t have happened. They kept repeating that something is wrong with my details (I KNOW THAT!!! But what exactly is wrong?). The manager eventually came up with a “resolution” which was to wait until March which is when my annual fee is due and see if it’s taken out then. I wasn’t born yesterday, they want me to wait so that they can rack up MORE fees. I called my bank and they told me that they don’t have Planet Fitness listed as a merchant scheduled to take ACH payments. In other words, Planet Fitness never took my details in the first place, yet they had gone nerve to hit me with a late fee for an admin error on their end which is almost 140% of the monthly fee. I don’t care for a company making a mistake, I care for how they attempt to correct that mistake and whether they take accountability. There was absolutely no accountability whatsoever. I’ve read forums and this is appearing to be a pattern and I am by far not the only person who. Stay far far away from them unless you’re okay with your payment being offshored in the Phillipines.

I absolutely love planet fitness for working out the vibe is always good. The tanning is included. Hydro massage for those soar muscles. The bathrooms are ALWAYS ALWAYS kept nice amd clean. The price is affordable. Highly recommend 👌

horrible! dont go!!!! i came in to pay a past due balance due to a change in card exp. and they told me i owe 86$ more after i paid in full 2/12/26. 5 days earlier. no one had any knowledge or professionals. they refused to allow me to work out while they figured it out. they told me there is no mgr so they can't help me. but they see i made a huge pymt 5 days earlier!!!!! worst team ever! they are incompetent and unprofessi8onal. i will go to la fitness. smh shame on you! get better staff
