Phone.com is a joke
Phone.com is a joke. I have been on the phone for hours just trying to cancel my account. Each department sends you to another one. Their chat asks me to give my acct number then states that I don't have an account, the cancel my account button directs me to call a number rather than cancels my account. The number I call keeps me on hold forever until an outsourced person tells me that no one is in the cancellation department and to send an email in order to cancel. The email that I send responds by stating that there is no recipient for that email address, but that I can call.. the same number that I have already called over and over. You have been warned.

Non-Existent, Incompetent Customer Service
I rarely need customer support, but when I do, Phone.com makes it a nightmare.Every time I call, I am routed to offshore support where basic communication is a struggle. I often cannot understand the representative, and they clearly cannot understand me. That alone would be frustrating, but it becomes unacceptable when you actually need help resolving a technical issue.I have been a paying customer for years and tolerated subpar service simply to avoid the hassle of switching providers. That ends now.For more than a week, I have been trying to get a simple API integration issue resolved. Instead of real support, I receive vague, unhelpful emails asking irrelevant questions that do nothing to move the issue forward. When I try to call, I am repeatedly told that no one is available to help me. I am promised callbacks and follow-up emails that never happen. Not once.This is not an isolated incident. This is a pattern of avoidance, delay, and empty promises.Phone.com does not deliver what they advertise and does not provide meaningful customer support to paying customers. If your business depends on reliable communication or technical assistance, stay far away. I strongly regret staying with them as long as I did and would not recommend this company to anyone.

The service is just ok, but their customer service is terrible. Good luck canceling. They have a "client retention" phone number that you "must" call to cancel. Then they never answer it. They also dont respond to emails to cancel.

I’ve been a customer for over 10 yrs & ordered an International number for Ireland in 2025 and it took over 3 months for them to activate it. In December 2025 I was unable to call outbound to Ireland and Gary the expert at Phone.com kept on telling me that my contacts were blocking all 70 of them and it wasn’t their problem. I contact a few of my contacts and they denied blocking. These contacts included Hotels, Gov’t agencies, B&B’s, Aer Lingus as well as a church.

Horrible service. I lost a ton of customers as a result of allowing them to answer my phones. If you are charged by the minute, they will not answer the phone call until after a minute has gone by. That means a potential client is on the phone for over a minute listening to the phone ring. Not happening!! I was overcharged. I had answer service tell my existing clients we were out of the office until after the new year! Not true. I found this all out recently only by going back 3 weeks and listening to recorded calls after a customer let me know. I've used them for over 4 years!!!! I can only imagine the customers and potential customers I have lost. They should be shut down!!!!!
