Omron BF511 Karada Scan Body Composition Monitor.The unit has been working fine for some time but has recently started to display error code 4.The user manual states that this error code indicates that "A PARAMETER IS OUT OF RANGE" but gives no indication as to what parameter is causing the error code.The scales then don't show any of the results other than my weight so I have no idea if it's BMI, BODY FAT, MUSCLE or VISCERAL FAT causing this error.The only parameter that is then available is weight.I find it amazing they sell a product that gives a totally useless error code if one of my parameters are out of range but I cannot identify which parameter is out of range, in which direction and by how much, which could be a very important factor to my overall health status.I have contacted customer support who responded as follows :-The information that are on the Instruction Manuals are the only one we can share with customers, any other information is from the Service Manuals and can't be shared because it is confidential information.I¨will have to replace them with a different brand.
