Highly disappointed

Outdated test prep material. Was VERY unprepared for the actual test. I am an engineer, know how to study, and got blown out of the water. I’ll be surprised if I pass. Notary.net said it’d be 30 questions. It was 45 questions. Super, super tricky wording. You have to know the immigration specialist material, punishments, and witness info forwards, backwards, and upside down. Someone who was retaking test after failing suggested getting a review book on Amazon that was excellent.

I have not able to get access to the…

I have not able to get access to the website, training or anything else. I received an email from a Harry Shoemaker with a link to training classes. When I click on the link, I get the webpage with a 404 Error Code. I got out and went to the website for Notary.net. Clicked on to register and haven’t been able to register after entering a password over and over. Called a number, instead of a live agent as it said. It’s a guy saying leave a message. What is up with them? These reviews are validating my experience so far. Maybe the reviews should be lower. This is ridiculous. Very suspicious. I’m going to submit to the BBB and Dept. of Consumer Affairs. If they don’t contact me back within 72 hrs. 😢😱🤔🙁

INSTANT education certification, lowest cost and quickly fixed a problem that was my fault....

I've been using Notary.net for the past couple years after comparing prices for required training for my PA Notary commission. It's very thorough and the test has all the info you need for day-to-day notary work. If you've been a notary for a while, it's a great refresher. But since I've been a notary for a while, more important to me was cost, ease of completion and getting your proof of education documents quickly. And in all those categories Notary.net wins! Notary renewals are every four years and it's easy to miss. I realized on the day it was due that I had to have my training documents. I was a panicked lunatic lol. But no need to worry! I was able to sign up for the course, complete the training and INSTANTANEOUSLY receive my proof of education as soon as the course was completed.Even more importantly, in my panicked haste I accidentally added the course TWICE to my cart, and then paid for both. I emailed the company, received a near instant response and they refunded the overpayment before I even completed the training. And that's how I judge sites. Not just how well they provide the service but how fast can a problem be fixed even when the problem is the customer's fault.. in this case me lol. Notary.net I grade you A+!!! :)

BUYER BEWARE - Money Grabbers

I have been a notary for several years and decided to use Notary.net for the first time. I liked the course and found it easy to use. I applied for my notary (I am registered in PA), then went back to the website to order supplies, only to find out that - had I purchased the course and supplies as a package, I would have saved money. Anyway, I ordered my supplies and received the package promptly in the mail, but without the Surety Bond Letter required by PA. I inquired as to when I can expect to receive the bond letter from them, and they informed me that they sent the letter with my supplies. I don't have it, so I asked them to send it again AND NOW THEY WANT A CC SO THEY CAN CHARGE ME AGAIN FOR SHIPPING - OF A 2-PAGE DOCUMENT!!!! When questioned about why they were charging me AGAIN for something I didn't get in the first place, they replied that, "It is very common for people to take the supplies out of the box and then throw the bond away with the receipt". No - my "box" contained the Notary Records Journal and my stamp. I know what to look for - I would not have thrown out the bond letter. BUYER BEWARE - I'm not sure how you can prove a negative. And if it is "very common", how about the courtesy of a note telling you to check carefully??

I have been emailing and calling…

I have been emailing and calling several times a week for five weeks straight since I first purchased their notary course. I have been asking for support or a response and have received none. I find it very strange when the owner Andy speaks frequently throughout his online course about how accessible he is by either phone or email. I have never received such poor customer service before and I am very frustrated. I don’t understand why I cannot receive a simple email or phone call after trying in good faith so many times. I had every intention of purchasing my notorial supplies through this company as well as future classes, because I truly liked the format of the course, but I am really reluctant to do so when I cannot seem to get any basic customer service or response whatsoever. As a small business owner for over 30 years I find this extremely concerning.

Notary Public Bond and E&O Insurance

Notary Public Bond and E&O InsuranceI purchased my bond and E&O Insurance on January 9th 2024 and received my documents about 5 days later. The ordering process was quick and easy. I will definitely be using them again.

I wouldn’t feel safe purchasing courses…

I wouldn’t feel safe purchasing courses from them. While I was reviewing my course, suddenly their website went down for 12+ hours, HTTP 500 server error. I was unable to get my certificate and it was 24 hours before my exam. They do not have 24/7 customer service so there was no one to speak to. So I bought a course from another provider, completed it and got my certificate. You can imagine how stressful this was. Their website is not stable. You don’t want an experience like mine.

Non-responsive

I received my results from the state on April 17, 2023 and immediately forwarded to Notary.net to the email that was indicated in the directions. No notice of receipt, so after a week I sent a follow up email (4/22/2023) asking if they had received my email. No response.I then called/left messages three times between April 22 and early May. No response. On May 8, I emailed the other email and then the same day tracked down the apparent owner and found her contact info at an insurance company. She mentioned that my email just came through. I did not mention the four other attempts because I did not want to screw myself over. In three days I had my materials and bond papers. There is only a month allotted to after you have gotten your results back from the state. If I had not found this woman’s number at her other job, who knows how long it would have taken me and if I would have met the deadline. I think she is stretching herself too thin and it impacts the future notary.

Cheaper isn't always the best

These people are only here to take your money. They don't follow up and give very unclear instructions. Because of their error I had to reapply again for a commission and re-do my order. I originally took my test in 3/22 and as of 9/22 still do not have my supplies and am unable to obtain work. USE ANOTHER COMPANY!

5 Star Customer Service!

I used notary.net to order my first notary stamp. My office space has an aqua/mint theme and I ordered a stamp in the color “mint”. When it showed up it was a full green but I was glad at least I had a stamp. I was contacted by them to ask if I was satisfied with my order and I explained that... well, not really. They agreed the color was different than the pics asked if i would like a new one, and rather than having to go through the trouble of sending back the original, they let me pick a different color and sent it free of charge. Their shipping is surprisingly fast and the customer service is excellent! I’m really impressed with this site and will continue to use them for my future notary needs.

AVOID-SCAM SITE

This website is a scam website. Multitude of technical problems, I was never even able to get started, after waiting 2 weeks for an email response from them they basically agreed that much of the content does not work completely and that if I wasn't able to use the class at all it wasn't their problem. Also there's never any signatures on their emails and every single time they email from some new @notary.net email. I would assume that even if their app worked for you this class is not legitimate. Steer clear.
