Fraud, False Advertising, Discrimination, and Safety Negligence — AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I am writing this review to warn other travelers. Nice Tours is a fraudulent company and everything I write here is backed by evidence including photos, WhatsApp records, and receipts.I booked a 5-star Nile cruise through GetYourGuide. What was actually provided was a small private boat with no pool, no bathtub, and cramped rooms — nothing like the photos on the listing. I was given zero notice of the vessel change before boarding. This was deliberate concealment, not an upgrade.The hygiene on board was appalling — I was bitten by mosquitoes every single night. Worse, myself (Japanese) and a group of Chinese passengers were assigned visibly inferior cabins compared to Western guests on the same tour. Same price, completely different treatment. This was blatant racial discrimination.On the return from Abu Simbel, the bus air conditioning was completely broken in 40°C desert heat. I nearly suffered heat stroke. Nice Tours’ response was to hand out a single bottle of water. No apology, no medical support, nothing. This is life-threatening negligence.On top of all this: my Cairo arrival was changed from Thursday evening to Friday morning without notice; the promised Khan el-Khalili visit was replaced with overpriced tourist trap shops; I paid for my own hotel one night yet Nice Tours falsely claims all accommodations were covered; and daily schedules were only shared the night before, every single day.When I requested a refund, Nice Tours responded with nothing but false claims and deflection. GetYourGuide ultimately had to intervene and issue a partial refund on their behalf.This company is systematically dishonest. Do not book with Nice Tours under any circumstances.

Cancelled balloonflight last minute.We got a restitution of only €67.63 which seems very low. Considering the fact that the cheapest balloonflight offered online in Luxor is € 55 p.p. I don't find this is a fair ammount. It is in no way mentioned clearly in your advertisements that half of these balloonflights are cancelled last minute. It was a ridiculous unprofessional and badly communicated situation that morning. The main reason we booked this trip was because of the balloonflight. The restaurant they took us for to lunch was that bad that we paid for dinner ourselves that evening, which was supposed to be included. But they already said they would take us to the same restaurant in the evening. The add up of the costs of this trip didn't make sense to us at all. We are put in a hotel (2 single beds as a couple?) which on booking.com costs € 110 a night. We paid € 500 euros, for what exactly? For a really mediocre lunch twice, a guide for a couple of hours and the drive to Luxor? We know what the people earn over here and that still doesn't add up in no way.We are far from pleased and this refund just feels like you guys are taking the piss. This is really bad customer service. And at our last lunch we actually heard multiple people around us complain about their trip from Nice Tours as well. They take you to lunch and dinner places which are superrr touristy and you pay 3 euros for a soda and 8 euros for a glass of wine which is ridiculous for Egypt.

Please do not book an Egypt tour With Nice Tours

Please do not book an Egypt tour through Viator if the local operator is Nice Tours. Nice Tours is unreliable, and in our case, they canceled the tour just a few days before departure. Viator claims that Nice Tours is a highly rated operator, but this was not true in our experience. They should be renamed as 'Terrible Tours'. We trusted other reviews and booked through Viator, only to have the trip canceled at the last moment. While Viator did refund our payment, this does not compensate for the stress, disruption, and loss of alternative travel options—especially when traveling during peak season.I question why Viator continues to host and promote Nice Tours on its platform. Viator should take greater responsibility for vetting and monitoring the tour operators it promotes, rather than enabling unreliable companies that negatively impact travelers.

Very bad experience with Nice Tour.Poorly organized excursion and services that do not match what was advertised.🚍 Very unpleasant transportation: • On the way there, the trip took 2.5 hours longer than planned • On the way back, 1.5 hours longer than plannedDrivers made many unnecessary stops, even though we just wanted to go back.Because of these delays, one of the three pyramids included in the program was not visited at all.The bus was uncomfortable: no air conditioning when it was hot, no heating when it was cold, and no water, even though it was supposed to be included.French-speaking guide was extra charge and had a very poor level of French.English-speaking guide named Hicham was very unpleasant, unprofessional, and honestly should change jobs.

Je ne recommande pas. A Nile cruise that never happened

Booked a Nile cruise incl. excursions through GetYourGuide. The tour operator failed to book a cabin for me on a ship. For the first half-day excursion, I had to contact GYG support to get pickup details, as the operator sent no information and did not respond to any messages. The guide also had no idea at which ship I was supposed to be dropped off after the excursion, and neither of us could reach the operator.Eventually, the operator contacted and instructed the driver to drop me at a restaurant on the outskirts of Aswan to wait for embarkation. However, the restaurant had no information about this arrangement, so lunch was not included as promised. The operator remained unreachable, even for GYG support, and I never received any details about my ship.I was forced to book alternative accommodation. Despite this fraudulent bahaviour, GYG refused to issue a full refund, claiming I had received a (rushed) 2-hour Philae temple tour that effectively cost me €170. I strongly recommend avoiding both this operator and GYG.

Avoid this operator at all cost

Avoid this operator at all cost. We booked multiple tours with the operate, but after the third attempt, we cancelled all our further bookings with them. Booking with Nice Tours was a consistently frustrating experience marked by poor organization, hidden costs, and a complete lack of professionalism. While some individual elements—such as certain guides or vehicles—were occasionally acceptable, they were repeatedly overshadowed by the operator’s conduct.Extra fees were a recurring issue, often introduced after booking and sometimes only once cancellation was no longer possible. What was advertised as guided tours frequently amounted to little more than basic transportation with minimal explanation, offering extremely poor value for money. Communication was disorganized and unreliable, leading to delays, confusion, and unnecessary stress during the trip itself. Our transportation from Aswan to Luxor was an almost broken car with no air conditioning or any other amenities. The car couldn't go more than 50km/h which is why the transfer took double the time than expected. Instead of providing a smooth, carefree holiday experience, Nice Tours added complications at nearly every stage—from booking to pickup to execution. Transparency and customer trust are clearly not priorities here. I strongly recommend avoiding this operator and choosing a more reliable, upfront, and professionally run alternative.

Nice Tours should call themselves Terrible Tours!

Booked a hotel transfer through Viator with “Nice Tours” in Luxor. Meant to be picked up from the hotel in Soma Bay to drive 3 hrs to Luxor. Left double the amount of time to get to our destination just in case things go wrong. Go wrong it did… “Nice Tours” should call itself Terrible Tours! Not only did they not turn up at all, causing us to miss our connection and lose all the money spent on the tours we booked, but they’ve ignored all efforts we’ve made to contact them! The “Live Chat” is dead. The company telephone number is dead. Either constantly engaged or just rings. Facebook page is unresponsive. Instagram is the same. All those 5 star reviews on Tripadvisor? Highly suspicious! Avoid using this company for any tours or transfers! You’re more likely to lose your money than receive any form of professional service. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

AVOID. Terrible contrast after 9 great days with other companies

After 9 days of tours with other companies, today's Aswan tour was a shock. A very unpleasant shock! 1. Guide arrives almost an hour late while we were left to wait for him on the mini bus2. He gives a cursory excuse for his lateness about a broken down boat. While I had heard the coordinator lament that the guide was in another village.3. Guide spent all his time with us on his phone (talking and texting) except while in the temple when he gave his basic speech and was clearly in a rush to get through it.4. He put us off going to the unfinished oblilisk saying it was too strenuous and most people don't go there. 5. We were told we had to stop to pick up another tourist whose car broken down. It turned out she (a woman traveling on her own with this same Nice Tours) had been chucked out of the car by the side of the road and told to get on our private van. With no explanation to her.6. No Guide was there to meet her at the temple gates either. And she was lost hovering around us.7. Our supposedly private van, that had our things in it, suddenly picked up other people as soon as they dropped us off at the temple. We reported it immediately to the Guide who tried to call the driver. Driver didn't answer. Eventually he came back and we took all of our things off the bus as we didn't trust him any more. 8. Driver denied he had let any people on the bus and was backed up by the Guide. On being told that we had seen them and the bus had evidence of things that were not ours, he arrogantly admitted that he had indeed picked up people - "so what?" He said. "Nothing happened:9. We witnessed this poor lone woman get passed on to another tour guide who had his own group too as her Guide hadn't shown up. So after this company tried to insert her into our private family tour, they pushed her into another group. Only after we reported them to the tourist police that her actual Guide finally made contact and arranged to meet her. Almost 2 hours later than planned!10. I told the guide and driver that the group with me were unhappy and they should make an effort to make things up. That was after the hour delayed start, the continued phone use and the poor woman traveler joining us. Nothing improved.11. We weren't even offered water. In conclusion: dont expect to be looked after. lateness is normalized, lying to customers happens at regular intervals, and safety is disregarded. My strong advice: avoid at all cost

Avoid This Company at All Costs – Untrustworthy and Shifty PracticesWe booked a 2-night Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Nice Tours back in July, looking forward to what was meant to be a highlight of our holiday. Instead, it turned into a stressful and infuriating experience.In early December — barely two weeks before our trip — Nice Tours abruptly cancelled our cruise with absolutely no explanation. No apology, no justification, no attempt to offer an alternative. Just cancelled.What makes this even worse is that, at the very same time, they are still advertising the exact same cruise, only now at more than double the price we originally paid. The timing and circumstances make it painfully obvious what is happening: cheaper, early bookings are being discarded in favour of customers willing (or forced) to pay inflated last-minute prices.As a result, we were left scrambling just days before travel, trying to find alternatives in peak season — unsurprisingly, with prices now massively increased. The stress and financial impact of this should never happen to paying customers.The booking was made via Tripadvisor and Viator, and as a UK-based customer, this behaviour strongly appears to constitute false advertising and a breach of contract under UK consumer protection law.Based on our experience, Nice Tours cannot be trusted. This feels like a deliberate and unethical practice rather than an unfortunate mistake. Cancelling confirmed bookings without explanation while reselling the same product at a higher price is not how a legitimate company operates.Save yourself the stress, disappointment, and potential financial loss — avoid Nice Tours at all costs.

Avoid Nice Tours at all cost!

I don’t know if Nice Tours bought their good reviews, but I completely disagree with them. Our cruise for 16 people was a disaster from start to finish. On the first day, they booked us on an afternoon flight instead of a morning one as promised, so we missed the Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and Philae Temple — and even lunch. Their “compensation” was a five-minute rush through a Nubian village and a ticket for the Philae light show, but we arrived too late to join. In the end, we never got to see Philae Temple at all and also missed the dinner we had paid for. The following days were just as bad: our guide showed up late, we had barely 30 minutes at each temple, and communication was chaotic. They constantly changed plans and ignored messages. On the final day, they even forgot to send a driver to the airport — without arranging transport ourselves, we would’ve missed our flight home. Overall, Nice Tours was disorganized, unreliable, and full of broken promises.

The tour of the Pyramids was good

The tour of the Pyramids was good, then we were taken on a couple of sales tactics, where without explanation we were taken into a private room in a purfume shop, and a Papyrus picture shop where they wanted £30 for Papyrus picture that you could buy for a fraction of that everywhere. We obviously didn't buy either but it wasted valuable time and some people would feel pressured into buying the stuff which in my opinion were not worth having. If it wasn't for this aspect we would have given five stars. We also visited the Musium but time was cut short due to the wasted time in the shops, we'd have much rather been visiting the things we booked.

Booked a 4 day nile cruise and the day…

Booked a 4 day nile cruise and the day before it was cancelled. The only reason we knew it was cancelled was because we messaged to confirm the pickup time. Ruined the trip to Egypt! Beware !!!!

Tour to Luxor Temple and Karnak

Tour to Luxor Temple and Karnak was very informative and the time allocated to each was just right. The lunch supplied was good and both the driver and guide were very welcoming. We also visited Nice Cafe for refreshments afterwards with Tony.Would recommend.

Relaxing and great coffee

We stopped at the new The Nice Café before our hot balloon ride, it was both cozy and relaxing after 5 hours in the car. Tony was very helpful and also bringed us great coffee. They also had free wifi and clean bathrooms with all the necessery stuff - like toilet paper.
