AAA sends massive deceptive spam.
AAA American Automobile Association has become a aggressive telemarketing company. I have been the victim of a flood of AAA spam since I bought a basic membership. If you give them your name, email, address or phone, you will be spammed relentlessly with very deceptive messages. I get almost weekly mail with "Signature Required" or Urgent or Important in red letters. The mail usually has no "AAA" or "insurance" on the envelope--it's clearly designed to be deceptive. The worst is AAA Insurance. I have called AAA multiple times to stop this, but the spam keeps coming. I suspect AAA shares your personal information with third parties, who also spam you.Stay Away From AAA. In addition, the basic membership is very limited...its just a way to upsell you. I've found better, less expensive towing service.

Beware of AAA and Mr. Timothy LaFleche
I have two claims filed on my house in Greenbush, MI. Mr. Timothy LaFleche is the adjuster to both claims. The first claim was approved, and monies were given to me in installments which I have never seen done before. Now they tell me that the work wasn't done in the time span they wanted and that the work being done was done too late. Because of this, I am out almost $2000 that is still owed to us from that first claim. The second claim was denied prematurely as all the facts weren't considered in the decision that was made. Mr. LaFleche accused my wife and I of lying and proceeded to deny this second claim. Mr. LaFleche raised his voice and was rude and inappropriate in the phone conversation with my wife when he accused her of lying. This made my wife uncomfortable, and she didn't feel comfortable talking to Mr. LaFleche again. I asked for a new adjuster and was referred to Ms. Mildred Hughely. After emailing her the detailed concerns I had with Mr. LaFleche, she concurred with Mr. LaFleche. This was no surprise to me. It only took Ms. Hughely less than 48 hours to investigate the detailed information I provided her. I am now filing a complaint with the state of Michigan. My advice to anyone reading this is to request a different adjuster if ever assigned Mr. LaFleche!

Want to Lose Money? Use AAA. Want poor customer service? Use AAA
This company has given me a run around for over one year. They did not purchase an airline ticket as was requested by both myself and the passenger my girlfriend. We made numerous calls and sent multiple emails to the agent there and just got a run around. We didn't find out this was the case until the following week and the price of airfare which we had to purchase had climbed by no less than $1,500 over the original price of the ticket that we had requested. I sent no less than 3 letters to the CEO of this company after they tried renewing my membership without my approval and was given a run around again. During that time their membership retention service called the house no less than ten times during normal work hours and they have sent me in excess of 10 junk mail letters requesting I renew my membership or purchase life insurance with them. I'm currently on my second BBB complaint as they will not put me in touch with their CEO. Absolute garbage company.

Bad Experience with AAA Roadside Assistance – Theft, Damage, and Poor Customer Service
I am writing to share my extremely disappointing experience with AAA’s roadside assistance services in Georgia. As a long-time AAA member, I expected professionalism and reliability, but what I received was the complete opposite. My issues began even before the tow on December 28th. In the days leading up to the incident, I had significant difficulty reaching AAA customer service representatives. When I finally got through, I repeatedly requested a tow with wheels and a dolly for my vehicle. However, AAA consistently sent flatbed tows instead, which were not what I requested. This resulted in wasted time and multiple days of frustration, as I had to cancel and reschedule the incorrect tows.On December 28th, I finally received a tow, but the experience only worsened from there. When my vehicle was brought to the dealership, I was informed that the AAA technician had stolen my tow hook and tow hook cover with a rare paint color. These parts are not easily replaceable, and their absence has left my vehicle incomplete. To make matters worse, I later discovered that the technician also scratched my car doors during the service. The scratches are noticeable and have further diminished the value and appearance of my vehicle. When I contacted AAA customer support to report this issue, I was told it was "too late" to file a report because the incident happened a month ago. This makes no sense, as I only just got my car back from the dealership after repairs. It hasn’t been that long, and AAA’s refusal to address the issue is unacceptable. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. AAA promises to protect the people who use their company and offer assistance no matter what your situation is, but it hasn’t felt that way. My family and I have been trusted AAA members for years, but this situation is making us rethink our decision. I trusted AAA to provide reliable and professional assistance, but instead, I was met with poor customer service, incorrect tows, theft, and property damage.I urge AAA to take responsibility for their actions, compensate me for the stolen tow hook, tow hook cover, and the repairs needed for the scratched doors, and investigate this incident thoroughly to ensure it doesn’t happen to other customers.

Think twice before using AAA for transfers
Twice now when getting vehicle Titles transferred they have either not filled out all the paperwork or not had me sign the paperwork correctly , you may possibly not know this until you go back to renew your registration, they tell you oh the registration is not been finished correctly you cant register the vehicle you will need to go to DMV ... even though I have the registration AAA gave me with the tags from last time ... AAA will take absolutely NO responsibility for their mess up , they act like it's my fault and they can't help me. So now I'm forced to go down to DMV and explain why this has happened when AAA are the ones that messed it up ?? UPDATE : DMV told me it happens all the time with "outside people TRYING to do OUR job... i get it Everybody makes mistakes but most legitimate places take responsibility for what they have done. I will be canceling all of my memberships. My business memberships and they almost had me talked into adding my son On the policy while there (before this happened) lol that'll never happen and now that he just turned 18 he looked at me and he said I'll never come back to this place. Well, maybe he can start a new generation of NON-AAA people , it'll be a first my dad was a AAA member all my kids are not anymore, i will make sure ALL are canceled . I will be tell everyone i know and see in the streets about the awesome service and mostly the HELPFUL people 🤣😂 they really make the CHICO CA dmv a place to be ... NOT

AAA DOESN'T ANSWER
I'm due a refund for laying out $190.00 for a tow that AAA (paid AAA+ with towing) should have done. Left me stranded in the So Fla. heat for 8 hours in the middle of the day June 13 2023. I'm a 69yr old diabetic. They left me with no help I had to call a private tow company they responded in 15min. I'm supposed to be reimbursed but they don't respond to my calls leaving me waiting on the phone on hold for hours
