PROBLEM! Mode Hardy 8mm easy clean shower enclosure and stone shower tray

I can't believe that happened at my bathroom also.I read those previous reviews from here, there must be some problem with Mode Bathrooms' shower enclosure product.Accident happened on 13 June 2024, it happened suddenly in midnight around 4:00am. That scared all of us from sleeping. I didn't used that shower tray for months, and the glass panel suddenly bursted and broken, and I can see also the roller of the slide door snapped, I believe that's the main reason, it suddenly appeared a strong twist on the glass.The enclosure was installed in October 2022, that means after 20 months, this product is malfunction, not durable enough!I asked Victoria Plum through VictoriaBot live chat, and they said it's old order before 29 September 2023, change of administration of Victoria Plum, they can't help anything on that.ha ha....RIDICULOUS......

Appalling Service!

I was intending to buy a Mode product - the supplier (Victoria Plum) was showing as out-of-stock but Mode was showing it as in stock but advised on their website that goods would be delivered by Victoria Plum! I tried contacting Mode via email (using the address given on their website) simply to ask if the goods were in stock but no answer. I chased for a response a few days later via Mode website webform, but again no answer! It's been over a week and neither of my enquiries has even received an acknowledgement - disgusting service!

Zero customer service

I have an Alder vanity unit which has split from what I can only assume is due to the moisture is the bathroom! Emailed Mode 3 times and they don’t reply also Victoria Plumb simply say contact Mode.There is no excuses for non existent customer service.

Wouldn’t buy from here again

Wouldn’t buy from here again ! I purchased a shower enclosure in 2021 and came home on Friday to find the glass shower screen hand spontaneously shattered. Luckily no one was in the room at the time. When I contacted customer service no one was interested. This is a massive safety issue. When trying to contact the manufacturer Mode Bathrooms they send me back to Victoria Plum who doesn’t seem to care. If someone could assist me with this i would be very grateful.

AVOID!!!

AVOID!!!Like all the other reviews i ordered a shower enclosure for the plastic, yeah plastic!! hinge to snap. I have contacted Victoria Plum who advised me they have been taken over and cant deal with the issue. So contacted Mode Bathrooms emailed with still no response however facebooked the company and got a reply straight away for them to say we do not keep spare parts and that they now cannot deal with the issue because they have been taken over as well.Absolute joke, a hinge that would probably cost a couple ££ is now going to cost me a new enclosure!!!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.Like most of these other reviews. Bought a shower screen & have had nothing but trouble with hinges. We have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of limescale inside the hinges that cannot be taken apart (they have been cleaned daily and descaled weekly) but the hinges are seized due to internal rust and will not open and close.On to the customer service… it took weeks to actually talk to a human at Victoria plum, rather than being in a queue for hours online & getting cut off when you get to the front of the queue. The shower screen has a year guarantee however apparently after 6 months the company has been taken over and nothing can be done about it!!!!! DISGUSTING.Had to turn to contacting modebathrooms directly, they have ignored ALL emails and reviews. Victoriaplumb refuse to help & send the same generic email. For an expensive shower screen less than 7 months old, this is unacceptable. I would never order a thing from this company again.Please do not use this company’s products as they honestly are awful.

Diabolical Lack of Customer Service Faulty Enclosure

Bought a Mode shower enclosure from Victoria Plum, who have now gone bust!!Bought the shower enclosure eleven months ago, so still in guarantee, but Modebathrooms have not replied to my email request for a replacement shower door double roller, seems a consistent failing in their products. Avoid this company like the plague. No customer service. It seems likely that Victoria Plum and Modebathrooms are one and the same.

Similar experience to other reviewers.Purchased an enclosed shower unit from Victoria Plum. Just over a year later the door roller snapped.It's worth noting that Victoria Plum will not attempt to obtain nor do they keep spare parts.It turns out mode provide no customer service, just an email address which results in, well, nothing.The shower unit was over £600. I suspect the replacement part is a few pounds + P&P.Yet here we are, modebathrooms.

Very poor quality

Very poor quality, looks good from a distance, had three sinks and two vanity units all with marks and defects, even the third sink still has a deep mark on it.

Poorly made and zero customer service

My flat has a Mode rain style shower... the shower head has split at the edge and I've emailed them a couple of times asking how I can get hold of a replacement. So far I've not even had an acknowledgement.Their products are flimsy and poorly made, and their customer service is nonexistent. Avoid.

Literally no customer service - at all

Ditto to these comments. No spare parts. Tap guantee for 10 years but the parts don't last so pointless. If the tap doesn't work it's no use looking pretty. Certainly won't buy again from Mode or Victoria Plum.

Dreadful

Although the Mode bathroom furniture is very stylish it is very badly made. The hand basin bottle trap that was supplied didn't fit the unit & had to be replaced with one that did, the pop up waste didn't seal properly & had to have loads of silicon added to make it water tight. Don't get me started on the incredibly tight access to do everything up - even a baby's hand would struggle to reach! Avoid unless you are a masochist.
