Hotel Widnerness Nangu
We booked a 4 night stay at the Wilderness Nangu in early February. Recommend splurging for the panoramic log cabin - the hot tub was wonderful to warm up and relax after activities. Room was spacious. We enjoyed the food selections throughout our stay, guides were informative and we saw the Northern Lights on 3 out of the 4 nights. The lodge was cozy and inviting. Our booking agent, Yasmin, was communicative and responsive. Everything went smoothly. Really an incredible experience - especially loved the husky sledding.

Magnetic North Travel is great!
My dad and I had an amazing experience going on a snowmobile trip from Inari to the Arctic Ocean. I used Magnetic North before, so I relied on them to organize it. Everything was not only perfect, but far beyond our expectations. We had a fantastic guide and cozy hotels. We learned about the local culture on this immersive trip. It was a once in a lifetime experience, and I am happy that I found a travel company that I can depend on.

Kiruna to Lulea to Stockholm

This is my third adventure put together by Magnetic North Travel. It is the best of three very fine tours. My travels the Churchill were seamless, I saw northern lights and polar bears -- oh so many polar bears! MNT also arranged for a 3-day stay in Winnipeg before I headed home. My stay at the Alt Hotel was exquisite. It's a new hotel smack in the middle of downtown Winnipeg and a block from the Canada Life event center. My room was clean and very comfortable. I'd like my own home to be as efficiently designed as that hotel room is.I would definitely recommend MNT.

Excellent itinerary in Norway
Yasmin Herbert of Magnetic North Travel helped to arrange an excellent itinerary for our trip to Norway. The hotels and lodges recommended were excellent and in great locations. We toured Oslo and Bergen and Aurland and Jotunheim National Park and the Fjords and the Lofoten Islands. The planned activities were fun and tailored to our interests. I felt that we got a great feel for the country from the cities to the fjords and mountains and the country side as well as the landscape at the arctic circle. The support provided while we were in the country by Yasmin through What's App was very helpful and ensured that all went to plan. I would recommend Magnetic North travel when planning a trip to Norway!

The perfect trip…thanks to Annie
We just returned from a 3 week trip through Scandinavia. Our trip included stops in Stockholm, Oslo, Auerland, Bergen, a cruise along the Norwegian coast and Copenhagen. . We are fortunate enough to be able to do 2 or 3 international trips a year. This was one of our best trips, a wonderful experience. We worked closely with Annie at Magnetic North to plan this trip. From our very first contact with Annie we found her to be very knowledgeable with some wonderful ideas. And just as important. she was always super responsive. The hotels she selected were terrific, the walking tours were very interesting and our cruise on the Havila was unforgettable. We are fussy American travelers and Annie was still able to plan a perfect trip. I am already thinking about another trip to book with Annie and Magnetic North.

Laura with Magnetic North did a fantastic job in organizing our trip to Nova Scotia and PEI. She took time to understand what sort of experience we were looking for, then went on to make fantastic arrangements for that. The itinerary was great and the app was very easy to use. We had no issues with figuring out where to go or what to do.The hotel arrangements were all quite nice, and the pre-arranged sightseeing experiences enhanced the trip. We would definitely do the trip again and would very much trust Laura and Magnetic North for potential future trips.

Cycling holiday to the west coast Islands of Finland
We went on a cycling holiday to the islands of Finland in the west. This included not only their standard package but also some a la carté arrangements that we wanted to make. The cycling was great fun and we stayed in some very good and sometimes quirky accommodation. The food ranged from Good to excellent. One suggestion I would make is that if your budget allows I would book electric bikes as some of the routes are fairly long and peppered with lots of short but steep hills which can become tiring over time, and I’m quite fit (we had 1 electric bike between two of us but could have done with 2). The organisation was faultless and when we had a breakdown en route, it was dealt with immediately by magnetic north staff liaising with local people.

Perfect Fit Family Holiday
Where do I start? I would 100% recommend because of the kindness of staff interactions, real-time support during our trip and motivation of the staff to curate a trip that was just what our family wanted. We loved all the accommodations that were selected for us, particularly the more intimate and unique accommodations. 29|2 Aurland was the gem of our trip and the closest place to “heaven on earth” that I have ever been. By the end of our 2-week trip, we really felt like we had a solid understanding of Norway’s geography and history. Our son had requested experiences focused on Viking history and the rest of us wanted time outdoors hiking and on the water. Everyone came away feeling like they got exactly what they wanted out of our trip and so much more. Looking forward to the next time we can book a holiday with your team!

Awesome Norway!
We decided to visit Norway and didn't allow much time for planning. Laura took the time to find out exactly what we wanted to include and created a wonderful itinerary for us, She answered all of our questions and included so much helpful information in the final itinerary such as the weather forecast, maps showing locations of pick up and drop off spots, hotel information, suggested restaurants and more, which made it a wonderful stress free vacation. Even though we had many modes of transportation, plane, bus, ferry, boat, and train, our travel from place to place was almost entirely problem free. We only had 1 experience, having to walk to our hotel along the side of a busy road, in which we didn't feel safe and decided to arrange for a taxi. Laura, even made sure we were reimbursed for our out of pocket cost. There was 24/7 help available if needed, which we found to be very beneficial. We had a few questions along the way and always received immediate responses. We really enjoyed our visit to Norway and would highly recommend Magnetic North for customizing your next itinerary
