Our very first printer was a Lulzbot
Our very first printer was a Lulzbot. We bought it 7.5 years ago and with minor maintenance it is still running today. We have been able to reach out to their customer service team and get help solving printing issues with different materials. This is an amazing company with great customer service and they continue to add to their new machines based on customer request of what is needed. Sometimes when we have asked for things, they were already in the works. They are not a company that is just sitting by idly they are always looking for ways to improve on the excellence they have already created. We started using them in 2017 and have continued our journey with them. We bought two of their printers just last year Taz Pro XT and the Taz Pro Long Bed

US based customer service
In a world where customer service usually means contacting someone in a far off country when it is 2 am their time, it is great to deal with Lulzbot who have an intelligent US based service. My problem was that the new head on my trusty old Mini type 1 (with LCD) was giving wildly fluctuating temperature readings which was confusing me and the motherboard. Lulzbot did not want me to immediately return the new head for a replacement as if the new head was found to be trouble free, then I would have incurred a cost. After several emails to Lulzbot (all of which were answered within a couple of hours), the technician determined that the problem lay in the connection between the head and the multi-pin plug on the Tool Head Adapter. I was sent instructions on how to clean the plug, and the problem was resolved. My 7 year old Mini continues to function well.

A very good printer and Great support.
I teach Technology at two schools and have purchased a Lulzbot Mini 2 for each school. I have found these printers to be very reliable and they produce a print of good quality. I have had these printers for more than two years and they have been very reliable. I have had to contact Lulzbot support a couple of times, and they have probably one of the best support teams I have encountered, (And they speak English!!) I have purchased a couple of parts from Lulzbot and their parts prices are very reasonable. The only complaint with the printers that I purchased is that they do not have internal memory. Many prints have been ruined because my student turned off the computer before the part was completed. (I have resorted to placing tape over the computer switch.) I think that the newer Lulzbot printers have internal memory, however. One final critique.......I have recently purchased another printer of a different brand and have found it to be at least twice as fast as the Lulzbot. Hopefully Lulzbot has created faster printers since I purchased these.

American Made is worth it!
I purchased a LulzBot printer a few months ago, and so far everything is going great! I did have a couple problems, mainly stemming from my own ignorance of 3D printer. So I contacted tech support via email, and was stunned by their fast responses (usually within 20 minutes), and was able to get printing again very quickly. Bet you wouldn't get that kind of help from some Chinese outfit...

Can't wait to see what's next
I've worked with the Lulzbot team in Fargo on multiple projects. Most recently a motor went out on my taz 6 and they helped me get the right one ordered at the same time the salesman helped me get everything needed for a 175 metor toolhead upgrade and filament. I'm looking forward to trying out their new machines!
