QI through Lost In TV

We've used Lost In TV for audience tickets several times over the years. They are very quick to confirm tickets, which is good as you have time to plan your day. I have health issues, and always let the team know. They arrange seating for me and, on occasion, have fast tracked me through security, for which I'm very grateful. This time we went to an afternoon recording of QI. Previously we've been to evening recordings. The afternoon viewing was an absolute dream for us, and hope there will be more of them in the future. Well done Lost In TV

Making inevitable process as easy as possible

The security and audience guides are very welcoming, helpful and in variable cheerful. Information is clear both in the run up and at the event. They try very hard, given there is no seat booking, to not split up couples or more and to seat those with mobility issues in appropriate seating.Though personally sad I cannot book more than once for a series, I do understand and appreciate this is to be able to accommodate as many people as possible.Yes we have to queue but nothing of the getting into the studio detracts from enjoying the recording itself.

Really really loved the show

Really really loved the show. The long wait outside before the doors opened was tedious, can’t imagine how rubbish it would have been in the rain.

Well worth the experience

Had been on the waiting list to see a recording of QI for a few years, without hearing anything. But a month ago I had the email for requesting a slot. As we had a bit of a way to travel, we had the plus tickets. Still had a bit of a wait to get it, but the whole show recording was great. Sandi was very welcoming, and had a quiz with the audience. The studio did get rather warm, so glad we were there in February rather than the summer. But it was well worth the experience.

All good - very happy (the sun being out helped!)

applied for tickets for QI and because we are a significant journey from London we were given guaranteed entry tickets, which did what they said. Friendly staff, friendly fellow queue-ers, it was still a significant wait but for free tickets we couldn't complain. QI recording was fab.

I don't particularly like the queuing…

I don't particularly like the queuing up and waiting, there should be a better way of treating people who have paid to come and see a recording, by pay I mean travel, other than that enjoyed the recording of QI - Jason

Davud mitchell radio show shaw theatre

Queued in torrential rain from 5pm for a 6.45pm door opening was finally given a wristband and advised we had guaranteed seats but be back by 6.30 ( we were back earlier) just grabbed something to eat as my daughter had come straight from school. Queued again until 7.15pm in the rain only to be told they were full. There were lots of people in the same position. Dont understand why they give out numbered wristbands but do not honour them.

Great Experience

It was a great event. The staff were very helpful and polite , the organisers were amazing . I had a great experience, from star to finish , although the show was about critical illness but the celebrities made the show very entertaining and impactful too, thank you for the opportunity .I only stayed for one show because It’s a bit too far for me.

Thanks for the opportunity

Thanks for the opportunity! I really enjoyed the show and the experience of being part of the recording. Everything was well-organized and entertaining. My only challenge was that it didn’t finish on time, I had to leave early for the last train, but overall it was a great event. Thank you for having me!

Accessible area needs a rethink

Really enjoyed the event and the production team were very helpful. However I’d requested accessible seating as I’m recovering from cancer surgery on my leg and can’t stand for any length of time. Problem was there was no dedicated accessible area so space in front of me was really restricted with camera movements and people constantly entering and leaving the studio walking between me and the cameras. Also there was no provision for chaperones. As it was a standing event, we could see nothing from the seating and had to rely on screens to see what was happening. It would be a good idea to advise people in advance of these compromises, as I need to keep my leg as straight as much as possible I would have passed on this occasion.

Worthy cause but caution for standing shows

Great show for a worthy cause but was very disappointed at how audience was taken care of. We attended a double show and in that time (6pm to 11:30pm) only one drink was offered. The studio was quite warm and it was a “standing only” show which we were fine with but as there were restrictions on what could be bought into the show would have expected the provision of water/soft drinks. One audience member even collapsed.

Absolutely brilliant company

Absolutely brilliant! Lost in TV is a fantastic organisation that gives out free tickets—it's like a lottery system, but totally worth applying. As frequent users of Audience Tickets, it’s become a fun new hobby for us. Being part of some of the best BBC TV shows, like The Apprentice (which we’ve attended several times) and Britain’s Got Talent, has been amazing. We never miss a chance to go, and we can’t wait to keep attending more shows!
