Late and 400 pounds!!
They came late, about 40min. They put a new lock that was 120 pounds, and total I had to pay 400 pounds!! They said nothing about the prices until after opening my door. I only put 2 stars instead of 1 because they did open my door.(Also, all the links on their website don't work. I should have found a better service, but I needed my door open quickly.)

My sister called them they seem so…
My sister called them they seem so dodgy my sisters scared after calling them as I think they’re a false company under some name and charge extra .We have got CCTV footage of the guy the guys seem European with limited english. As they can familiarise themselves with the house surroundings it’s easy for them to rob the house as they job is breaking locks. So guys please be careful. And pray my house remains safe.

Dr Locksmith Ltd - Highly Recommended
I locked myself out from my flat twice and I called Dr Locksmith Limited. The first time that I locked myself out Bobby arrived in less than 20 minutes. Bobby was excellent across the board. He has a good attitude and very professional in his approach. He is efficient, polite, communicates clearly as to what he is going to do. The second time I locked my self out I did not hesitate to call same locksmiths and asked specifically for Bobby once more he was excellent throughout.

Scammers and thieves
Read the Daily Mail 10 March 2021 for a report about this company. Hopefully there will be a change in the law to make these criminals accountable. It upsets me that people are still being scammed by these people.

local-locksmith24.co.uk - crooks warning
These guys should not be in this business, they are crooks beyond any one can believe. i paid 375 pound for a 25 pound lock. These guys should be taken to court and notify them to the trading standards and citizen'advice bureau and everything you can possibly think of. They are a group of thieves indeed.

I would give zero if that was possible
I would give zero if that was possible. These guys are crooks. As per many of the previous reviews I was made to pay £914 for a 10 minute job and sold a 'high security lock' for £400 which I later found out was available on Amazon for £40. The home insurance will not pay up as my lock was not actually damaged and they are questioning the locksmith I used. They think I am scamming them! Stay away from the company at all costs!

Phoned a locksmith, they quoted me £55 to unlock my door. Ended up paying £89 for them to drill my lock open and then £55 for a new lock. Total £144 + £28.80 vat on the receipt. Tried phoning the company politely asking for a manager. They kept putting the phone down on my ear and blocked me. When I complaint to the locksmith. He used fowl language and told me I was racist!

Extorted £871 for a simple job
Another nightmare experience here. My key wouldn't turn in the front door lock, it was 7.45pm.Two men turned up instead of the one I was expecting, one said the (silent) other one was a trainee.Despite the website's "from £39" he Initially said the cost would be £299 which (with lots of confident patter and accompanying illustrations) he implied included everything. When I said it was too much he offered a discount of £40 "if he got in quickly". Once the lock was drilled through and removed and I was inside (a woman alone) with these 2 men between me and the door in my narrow hallway, and no lock on my front door, the extra charges began. Apparently my choice of new locks ranged from £185 to 260. I was feeling bullied and flustered by now. They fitted one, but said they needed to return tomorrow to take the mechanism to a workshop at a further cost of a few hundred pounds to be either repaired or replaced and would call my mobile at 9am.I was then handed an invoice of invented amounts for items that had not previously been mentionedDoor opening £259New lock £219 (widely available for £15)Labour £189Call out fee £59VAT 145.20Total £871.20There are over 60 utterly damming reviews on here before mine. This exploitative operation has been reported to the police & Trading standards multiple times, why are they still allowed to operate freely like this and prey on people in their moments of vulnerability?

Dodgy! DO NOT USE!!
Dodgy!! Don't use this company - charged me £420 to change a lock. Eastern European-I think Romanian. I have captured photographs of them on my CCTV and reporting to Police.Didn't know what they were doing, wouldn't give me an upfront price, kept adding additional things on, had an excuse and answer for everything i.e. "the lock i am supplying is drill proof!" They parked their car around the corner out of site, but I got their number plate. They left me a hand written receipt with Company Registration number 11897036 which is Trigger Logistics Ltd. Came up on internet as Pro-Locksmith24. They said it's not them making the prices, they only work for the company...sure!. Absolute scam - Hope they get put away.I would have put Minus stars if I could!!

Don’t be attracted by the £49 charge advertised. The Google search result states a local locksmith service. This is a national call centre sub contracting emergency locksmith work. You end up with an unknown locksmith hiding behind this national website. The people who turn up at your property then charge whatever they feel they can get away with. My mother locked herself out of the house. They charged £300 to gain access to the front door. Took 30 seconds to open. They take advantage of people in a difficult situation. My parents are elderly and my father disabled. They were distressed and out in the cold and rain. Use checkatrade for reputable companies or search for a an approved locksmith on the MLA website. It looks like you can receive a service for 1/3 of what my parents were charged.

Utter scum bags
Utter scum bags. Called as my door was shut with a key on the other side. Quoted an “easy fix” over the phone with a £55 fee. When the smith arrived my fee ended up being quoted as: £55 service charge£49 callout fee (not mentioned on the phone)£160 to drill the door (no other option apparently) £180 to replace the lock (starting minimum fee)£60 labour fee+VAT Called another smith who charged £70 and had my door open in minutes. ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS - AVOID AT ALL COST!

Scammers avoid this company if you can!
Very skilled scammers, avoid avoid avoid! We used this company when we got locked out, got a quote that it would cost £55. The final bill ended around £350. He kept increasing the price making it sound like that it was the only choice etc, when I tried to call them the lady on the phone hang up on me and voicemail goes to some German answering machine. Next day the company phone number was changed. This is not a real locksmith company, avoid at any cost. Wish I saw the reviews first. MAKE SURE YOU REPORT THEM. GOOGLE ADS, CITIZENS ADVICE, POLICE, TRADING STANDARDS! DO NOT LET THIS SCAMMERS GET AWAY ABUSING PEOPLE

Scammers
Don’t ever use this company even if you have to sleep outside. It will be cheaper to book a hotel room rather than using these scammers.I was stuck outside my flat. Called these guys they said £49 call out charge. But when the locksmith came he said i have to pay £49 + £149 door opening charge. Then he gave me story how difficult it is to open the cylinder lock. ( it actually took him 2 minutes to snap the lock and gain the access) then he demanded another 100£ for lock change. And I politely said no thank you. I spent the night without front lock then went to screwfix got a new euro cylinder lock for 20£ and changed it myself in 5 minutes!!!! AVOID THESE GUYS LIKE PLAGUE.

Awful awful company
Awful awful company. Left keys on inside of door and so couldn’t open door from outside. Used this as it said £49 on google but they ended up overcharging us and it came to £700 which we had no choice but to pay. Disgusting company

Don't bother if your in semi-rural area.
First told to expect the locksmith in 20-25 minutes. An hour later no one had showed up. Half an hour later and after several phone calls told that the locksmith was having car trouble. To be fair the lady I was speaking to was doing her best to be polite but was obviously lying through her teeth. I found another locksmith and whilst waiting for them I got a call from a locksmith from locksmith24 saying he was 1hr 50mins away. This was already 3 hours after my original call. Luckily I told him not to bother and the other locksmith arrived did the job no problem. I live in a semi-rural location and this service can only operate in big towns and cities.
