If I could give them no stars, I would. Ordered a replacement part and it took 7 days for them to mail it out. Unacceptable as this should be a two day turn around. If you can go somewhere else, do it.

I’m disappointed with my brand new litter robot 4 and little hopper - I spent a lot of money for an item that is constantly not working properly - the bonnet doesn’t fit properly and I’ve taken it apart 3 times using all the instructions - still a problem - what a disappointment

I bought the high end litter robot. Worked well for about 1 month and a half. Now getting errors messages saying drawer is full. Filter change and it’s not functioning properly. IRS s piece of junk. Still paying for a non working machine, would not recommend
It’s been a very hit or miss experience that they could be very impatient/ keep coping and pasting the same response without addressing your exact question, rushing to end the conversation etc

I have had a pair of LitterRobots for several years, and recently having upgraded from LR2’s to a pair of LR4’s complete with LitterHoppers and the stairs. I am thoroughly impressed and delighted with my LitterRobot4’s for many reasons, chief among them is that they are remarkably quiet. The LitterHoppers are fantastic for keeping the litter levels perfect and are easy to fill. I absolutely love that my Robots tell me when they need the waste trays emptied, and the waste bags make such cleanings a breeze. The handle on the globe makes it easy to open up the machine and remove the globe so that it can be cleaned and the robot interior accessible for cleaning. I also very much appreciate the app tracking the usage and weights of my cats, as well as being able to reset, reconfigure, and control the robots from my phone. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Litter Robot is easy to set up and simple to use. It is so nice not to have to scoop a litter box first thing in the morning or the last thing at night! I can’t believe it took me so long to own one. They are worth every penny! I also like the litter they sell and use it all the time. I am on auto renew but I will say they are very slow getting their product to your door. Give it a week to ten days before you receive your litter. Now I know to have litter in reserve so I don’t run out.
Zackary M in customer service is awesome! My LR4 had issues connecting initially in the app due to my home Internet / router. Zackary was extremely kind, efficient, quick and thorough. I'm extremely pleased with the purchase - the unit works great and my 3 cats have been using it without any issues. I no longer dread litter box cleaning time in the daily routine. I hope to swap the last two litter boxes to LRs in the future, but right now - the cats are using the LR4 together without any issues and the other two traditional litter boxes have just been backups / rarely used.
It was great at first, but slowly, it stopped being an "automatic" litter box. Now, it will not automatically dump the feces and urine. I have to reset it, and cycle it manually....... I guess it's better than pulling out the scooper. Still not what I paid for though...
After having a few issues with no solution I decided to call the customer service line. I explained to Zach what had been happening and what trouble shooting I've already performed after going on line and even checking out blogs with the same issues. He checked on the issues through the app. Then suggested that I try one more step that he was confident would solve my problem. He told me if it didn't work to call back and they would see what they could do next. At this point I was pretty sure that I would have to be replacing some sensors to solve the issues. I called back and spoke to Nicole. I explained about my previous call, she confirmed the information, reviewed the latest issue then put me on hold to converse with the "team", when she got back on the call she informed me they were going to replace the base unit on my Litter Robot 4 at no charge to me, mind you the warranty had expired a few months back. They saw the issues had occurred for a few months and said they would take care of it!I've told several people when asked how I liked my Litter Robot that "It's the best money I've ever spent on a litter box" I definitely stand by that statement after dealing with the customer service team there today!
We now have a Robot 4 and a 5. We did not go for the 5Pro. We also have 5 cats. Overall I would say these things are great. I actually like the 4 better because it has the autoatic hopper that refills the drum. It is not a terribly big deal to fill tha 5, but we learned the hard way that over filling, even by just a small amout, can stop it from working. So we are ddefinately going to convert the 5 with the hopper when it becomes available. No idea why they did not have it with the original roll out for the 5. I would definately rocommend these robot. If you can swing the $1000 for one, I would say do it. Do not think of it as a $1000 litter box, but think of it as a major appliance. They reqwuire a very small amount of daily attention. If you only have 1 cat, maybe not that necessary, but when you get into 3 plus cats.... definately a wonderful thing.
Absolutely LOVE my Litter Robot 4. Wish Id purchased one YEARS ago.And customer service is absolutely fantastic.Rare in an AI world.
Litter Robot three is 90% garbage and 10% operational. It is constantly complaining about overload, torque, xx failure of something. I have had this thing for 1.5yrs and fought with it a lot. The only saving grace is when it actually works properly, it cleaned the poop and pee balls
Their customer support is awful.
After only a few short months, the rubber inside was destroyed by my cats. When I contacted Litter Robot they shipped me a new one that I have to install myself? Ridiculous. Very poor design when you know the animal that will be using it are going to scratch it. For $700+ dollars I expected it to last. Very disappointed.
The people at whisker litter robot were very responsive and replaced our base unit since we are still under warranty. The only problem now is on the Reverse turn off the globe the motor is making a louder and kind of whiny noise. It is a good machine and the people are great. I thank them.
So I've had the Litter Robot 3 for maybe two years now. Overall it's been good to me but the wiring that keeps the bonnet turning shorted suddenly and stopped working. I contacted Litter Robot support and they were nothing but kind about the situation. Completely understanding and even offering to send me a kit to fix it for free. I would say that sometimes machines fail, that happens, but my five star rating is how they treated the situation. I found their customer service to be excellent and very helpful.
The litter robot has been a great investment. This is our 3rd one.
Do not purchase ANYTHING from their website if you are based in the UK.They claim to ship within 3-5 business days, but after two weeks I have still not received my Litter Robot and their customer service is absolutely useless. The parcel is nowhere to be found and nobody will take responsibility for it.I have spent countless hours contacting the courier, the sender, Whisker, you name it. All they do is come up with fake apologies and assure you that they take your complaint seriously, but don't actually do anything about it.Avoid like the plague.
