We have been loyal LINK users for well over 7 years. The reason we have stayed loyal even when problems arose with the device was b/c customer service was top notch and always went above and beyond to fix our issue. Sadly, that is no longer the case. If you do encounter a problem w/your device, there will be no solution from the call center and no one will email you back! Not sure if they were bought out or what exactly happened but customer service is now non-existent.

The absolute best
My beloved Golden Retriever used to take years off my life when he disappeared. Link my Pet was the best investment in his safety that I could have found. On one occasion I tracked him to the high school close to our house and as I drove, my husband spotted Arrow’s paw prints in the snow exactly following the trail laid out by LMP. Once those paw prints became muddled with 3000 student’s prints, the app took us to the field he was playing in. A second time, as my husband drove, I was able to say, “turn on Wernett, he’s in the front yard of the third house on the right.” And there he was. Any minor issues were immediately fixed by the concierge service. You won’t find kinder people. I strongly recommend this product. Everyone should have this peace of mind.

The GPS doesn't work
The GPS doesn't work. It works great right around my house but as soon as my dog goes for a walk with my wife, it can't located him. This is in the middle of a neighborhood. If your dog runs away, don't count on Link to locate him.

The only reason I left 1 star is because we have to. I ordered the collar thinking it was the unit as well. Reading the reviews with the GPS being terrible I thought I was purchasing a unit that did everything the same except no GPS capabilities. That was not the case. Returning the item you have to call customer service. They send an email with the address ONLY. You also must provide a copy of the email and receipt in the package. It is December 11th. What "customer" wants to just drop anything in the mail with just your word that you sent it this time of year? Now your also paying for any piece of mind (proof of being sent). The reviews speak for the customers best interest in mind, NONE. Hope this helps if you're thinking of purchasing anything from this company.

Family exercise challenge
Family exercise challenge. The ability to see how much exercise our Boxador gets each day has turned into a fun family challenge. It is no surprise that Mom and Dad lead the pack in steps counted when walking the dog. We also regularly use the light when walking at night in our dark neighborhood. We have not needed the GPS tracking yet, but have tested and it worked great.

Link's customer service is great! I also love that I am able to monitor my dogs activity and keep a record of our walks. I wish that I could integrate my dogs activity and exercise with mine in one app, but this is great for staying on top of keeping us booth healthy and active.

We LOVE Link for our shih tzu - Anytime we're out I feel comfortable knowing it has GPS tracking, we use the LED light on our nighttime walks around the neighborhood (it's so much brighter than I thought it would be!) and I check everyday to make sure he's getting enough exercise. I've used call a vet service in the app too when we had an after-hours emergency, so that was very handy.

Right now if your looking to purchase Link my Pet, I would hold off especially if you have an IPhone with the latest update 16.2, I started having issues 2 weeks ago and last week the Adventure (GPS) shut down completely which is why I purchase it! Customer Service has been nice but I was originally advised the fox would be completed last weekend but the Beta fix did not pass, now as you see below have been advised at least one to two weeks as long as QA test pass. I purchased my Link in mid November and I’m paying for service that I’m not getting! Prior to the IOS update I bragged to everyone about Link and I would have given them 5 stars! Once the new app update passes the QA testing it must go through BETA testing to ensure when released before the public there are no bugs within the app software. Once both of those go through testing and pass with no failures then the app will be released. I found out that the Beta Test performed on the fix for Adventures for IPhone IOS 16.2 did not pass and at this time there is no ETA for the fix! I continue to use the link but the Link Active Minutes is way off, once again I walked my dog 3.23 miles and the Link had her over 4 miles! The Calibration Problems started Wednesday 12/28/23 if you look at Tula’s History! I walked Tula 3.28 miles in the morning and we traveled over 7 hours to Deforest, Wisconsin to my sons home, she slept in the backseat, no activity, she played with her sister when we got there and Link had her at 8.71 miles, totally impossible! I played with the Calibration and when I went from 0 to -1 it was way off on previous activities! Up until December 28th this devise was awesome and I bragged about it to everyone. She has been to North Carolina and Wisconsin with it. Please let me know what the status of fix is, if it’s more than another week or two I will be looking for another product and I would believe I’m entitled to a full refund on the product and 10.5 months of service on the device since your company cannot provide a product to do as what it was sold for! Your Adventures GPS was very accurate until the Apple update. I truly hope these issues will be fixed soon! Worthless without a solid wifi signal
The support team is great if you're looking to make new friends. However... for some reason I can not get a solid wifi connection thru Spectrum and as a result, the link-my-pet is absolutely useless. It just doesn't work and beyond frustrating when you see your 8 month old pup running off.

I am so pleased and appreciative with this customer service team! Everyone here is kind and friendly, very attentive to all my needs and questions. I have 2 links that are constantly monitored for peak performance and location. I had a problem recently regarding one of my links and it was resolved rather quickly on their end. I can email at any time or call and speak to one of the representatives during work hours, and not get a robot! I honestly don't just feel like a customer, but family. I say this because that's how I feel. It doesn't matter my question or problem with my links, I know it will be treated with extreme care! We had a beloved pet pass away 2 days ago and they made a donation in his name to honor him. I highly recommend being a part of this family!

I have been on Link for over a year. I have always received excellent customer service. Recently, I experienced the value of this product. My dog trainer and my GSD were on a walk something they do frequently. A unleashed large bulldog attacked them. I saw on Link that they were stationary which alerted me that something was wrong. I was able to go to their rescue because I could see exactly where they were, 1/2 from the house. Thank you Link for your invaluable technology! Lives were saved!

The latest link collar has been working wonderful! Both my dogs have the trackers! Tho people complain about a slight (literally a few min delay when they go into away mode) I much rather prefer a few min delay then waiting till after work 8 hours later to find my dog not at home.. it's a work In progress and customer care has been amazing with helping get these set up! I highly recommend!

Our GSD Nashville had the original Link. It was great in tracking Nashville, but the battery only lasted a day or two at most. It also wasn't the greatest in staying on her. It did track well and located it one time in the skimmer of the pool, the Link, not Nashville. LOL The new Link is far superior, with the battery lasting 6 to 7 days. The tracking is equally as good and the staying power on the collar has been greatly enhanced by the smaller footprint of the Link and superior clip's holding ability. In fact the new Link is so good, we now have a second Link for our new GSD Legend. Having two Links is so easy to use via the Link Home Page on the app. I highly recommend the Link to friends, families, and dog and cat lovers everywhere!! Definite Five Star investment.

Company doesn't want to support early customers...
I received my Link tracker collar as a gift last Summer. I didn't have the money to pay their additional tracking fee at the time, but figured I would sign up when I did. Now, less than a year later, after calling the company...it turns out they no longer support this collar and told me to go online and buy a completely new collar? What? Less than a year later...I mean, if I had signed up I wouldn't have even been able to get through an annual subscription to the tracking service, all because they switched from AT&T to Verizon. This is TERRIBLE customer service. As a guy trying to deal with cancer/health issues, who just wanted to be able to know my dog was safe at home when I am in the hospital...this is really cr@ppy. :( two thumbs down for LINK. Boo.

Great customer service! So helpful and informative. Wonderful follow up on questions or concerns. The device is very user friendly. My rambunctious Lab likes to go on unsupervised walk about and now I can quickly track him. Peace of mind is wonderful! There are some Bluetooth glitches that sometimes notify a false indication that my dog is away- when he is not. However, the device will always be accurate when he really is away. So you have to assume the notification is right, and be relieved when he is not away.I have recommended Link to family members.Happy to have Link on my dogs collar M
