I had an amazing experience at Lima Beads! Their selection of beads and jewelry-making supplies is incredible — so many beautiful, high-quality options to choose from. The website is easy to navigate, and my order arrived quickly and was carefully packaged.
I found a necklace pattern at a different website, but when I had filled my basket halfway for the supplies, only to find that the cost was over $100! So I went to Lima Beads, where, not only did I find everything I needed for the project at much, much less, I was also able to purchase more beads for two more projects, with money to spare! I will *always* start my project shopping at Lima Beads from now on!
Their link was on Facebook. I make jewelry so I went to their website by choosing a bead to look at. It showed the bead, next it was a picture of strings of that bead to show variation in color. The last was an inch/centimeters tape with a string of beads in middle to gage size. Other websites are not that helpful.My order was sent within 24 hours of ordering. It was wrapped in bubble plastic. The bag they were in had my name and order number on it. The invoice had that same number. Each item was individually packaged. This was a first and I appreciated the care that was taken to ensure accuracy.Now. The beads are exquisite! No burrs, cracks, irregular shapes, or discoloration. The quality of the findings is outstanding.
I love them. However....when I place my order on a Monday and it's still not processed on Wednesday that is a big issue for me. I have people waiting for custom orders. This is the only beef I have with this company. If you love nice beads they are great. If you love quick shipping this is not the company for you.
The customer service is outstanding, when I emailed them about an issue I had with an order they immediately resolved the issue for me and sent out a new strand of beads.I love every single thing that I order and they pack it very well and ship it quickly. Honestly, I haven't ordered from anywhere else in over six months because I love Lima beads
Lima Beads is my favorite place to buy all things jewelry making. The website is super clean and a breeze to navigate. They also have how-to videos on creating pieces they offer ideas for. They have sales a couple times a month. Go check them out! You can thank me later 😉

Customer service is top notch!!! Ali was able to guide me through finding exactly what I was needing for a very particular project after having a big disaster with beads that I ordered from elsewhere. Ali was more than willing to inform me on the bead types, and giving me specific links to the beads I will need. You won’t be disappointed. Variety and prices are great.

The merchandise is of high quality at very fair prices and customer service is respectful of questions. There are so many different items to choose from with great selection of categories that it makes a great site to return to many times over for different gifts knowing you are getting high quality and something to be proud of giving.

Their site is easy to navigate. Their prices are comparable to other quality sellers. Packing was beyond great, everything individually bagged, labeled and in a bigger bag. Quickly shipped. It began with an email I sent to the company. I was in search of pendants to make a friend a pair of fan pulls. I explained my project, moved on and actually forgot it happened. So when I got a nice, friendly response from Alex, who was enthusiastic about my project and my needs, I was surprised, then as I read the email, I felt even better mNot only did he really read my email, he answered with encouragement and added links for several pendants that look exactly like what I needed. So after our pleasant exchange, I did go buy the pendants from them. And they WERE exactly what I was looking for. The right look, color, material. I mean, he took the time to send me straight where I needed to be Lima Beads is truly fortunate to have Alex at the front, responding to inquiries and communicating with people, because I’m not overstating this at all. He turned me into a customer with one very, very specific email about my needs. Now I’m a returning customer and that is only because of the way Alex responded to me. He knew what I needed and practically did my shopping for me, lol. I really want everyone to know what great service they’ll get from Lima Beads. I order a lot of beads from this company but over the past year or so I have found the quality to have gone down. My beads used to be all usable and now I find half the strands have holes, dents, or the holes at drilled crooked. I get the same quality from China and I’m not happy with those either but if I’m throwing half the strand out it’s a little cheaper. Bring back quality control!
The obvious care and attention to detail that was given my new and small order. I ordered 4 items and each was individually bagged and each bag had a number on it that corresponded to the Packing List/Invoice that was included. This made it really easy for me to know what was what. There are so many companies out there that simply throw items in a bag or box and don't take the time to pay attention to detail. I look forward to placing more of my jewelry supply orders with LimaBeads for this reason alone. Of course, the items were lovely and perfect too.
