The help I received from Rahul was paramount in taking the next steps towards my health goals. I really felt like I experienced actionable progress in not only being able to advocate for my health needs, but also in planning for my health needs in the future.
Women and Infants Hospital was ITO Health’s first customer, and our team was deeply engaged in the design, build, and implementation of our instance of the platform. As with any new technology, the initial launch period included expected growing pains. Throughout this process, however, the ITO Health team remained responsive and collaborative as we worked through early challenges together.Since implementation, the WIH RI COMSS team has experienced meaningful improvements in workflow efficiency. The platform has reduced the time spent completing applications and has streamlined how staff support patients in navigating benefits and services offered through the RI COMSS program. These efficiencies have allowed our team to focus more time on direct patient engagement and care coordination.We would welcome continued discussion about future enhancements that would further strengthen the platform’s impact, including productivity management features, task tracking, improved communication across internal teams and community partners, and access to high-level outcomes data. In addition, we look forward to collaborating on refining the “solutions and challenges” framework, as clearer terminology and structure would help reduce confusion for users and improve consistency in documentation.We greatly appreciate the increased attention, responsiveness, and ongoing support the ITO Health team has provided to the RI COMSS program over the past year. While the early stages of implementation were challenging, the level of partnership and support has continued to grow, and we are confident that ITO Health will continue to evolve alongside our program to meet the complex and changing needs of our pregnant and postpartum patients.
Our partnership with ITO has been an invaluable resource for our employees. ITO Health was offered to employees at my company, and it has literally been a lifesaver for me. I'm currently pursuing my second graduate degree which has left some big gaps in income despite having two part time jobs. ITO has helped me navigate Medicaid, SNAP, utilities, mental health services, and many other aspects of life that can even be overwhelming when everything is easy. Everyone I have interacted with from ITO has been warm, respectful, generous, beyond helpful, and so kind. I still can't believe this organization exists, and am so grateful to them and for my company, Feast and Fettle, for partnering with them to care for their people.
After a decade of working in health and human services, it's been amazing to finally find a software partner that GETS IT. The ITO Health team understands that those of us doing frontline work are exhausted, burnt out, and desperately in need of tools to make it easier to get our patients access to housing, food, income, transportation, and other resources and public benefits. But what makes them different is that they don't prioritize provider efficiency above meaningful patient outcomes. They are not interested in helping you "check the box" on addressing social determinants of health, they want to help you make real-time changes in your patients' lives while also decreasing administrative burden on your staff. Having a platform that does the work of navigating benefit eligibility and assists with automatically completing benefits applications and forms not only saves time for our staff, it allows our patients to leave a visit knowing that a concrete action is being taken to get them they help they need. The ITO Health team has been incredibly responsive to our program-specific needs, responding quickly to any changes we want to make to improve our screening workflows or change our reporting options to meet the needs of different grants and contracts. You can tell they've done the work before, and know how challenging it is to balance the needs of patients, staff, funders, payers, and regulations.
