Shady and I&S Accounting...an answer to my prayers!
I have gotten to know Shady because my son highly recommended him and he manages the accounting for my sons 4 businesses. My son hired Shady for me and I remember the first email Shady sent introducing himself. I almost cried in thankfulness that someone was going to help me. I am not a numbers person. My husband, who always managed our business of 33 years, is no longer able. I, who know nothing about business and taxes, had to suddenly take on everything from our business to our personal finances. I was in shock to say the least and quite paralyzed in how to go about everything. When Shady came into my mess, he got everything organized and did not shame me like my other accountant did on a regular basis. He made me feel so relaxed and hopeful. He has been far more than an accountant. He has encouraged any ideas we have in going forward in our business. He gives me an update of how our business is trending in detail. He keeps track of our inventory. He sends me "deep dives" into the performance data. He had to speak to my other accountant who I had hired in desperation and who messed up our taxes. This man is not a nice person. He did not treat Shady well. There are so many aspects that Shady watches over for me. He has reassured me and encouraged me. He also has encouraged my younger son to work with our business and advance it. My son now is basically running most of our business. He knows he can ask Shady anything. Shady ALWAYS responds quickly. We feel we have an ally, someone in our corner who will go to bat for us. He is way more than an accountant for me, but has become a friend. I can tell you he is solid, honest, smart, innovative, encouraging, and patient as all get out. He cares and he is kind. Our business is small compared to the big business of my older sons; however he treats me with an enormous amount of respect and our business has done so much better and keeps growing. He added the energy that we needed to get things going again. I am very thankful for Shady. He is a God send and literally an answer to my prayers!
