HGTV!! You Canced Bargain Block, Married to Real Estate, Farmhouse Fixerin 2025 (NOT to MENTION Where is Nate and Jeremiah’s Show?!) and Gave Us Neighborhood Watch!!! SHAME!!! What a Load of CRAP!! How is that show content?!
I have had HGTV on for the past two days in the background while working from home. They had the same shows on both days. They don't even bother to air a different episode it is just the exact same episodes that they played the day before. They definitely need a new person in charge of content. Get creative...find new episodes to play. People who watch HGTV don't just watch it once in a blue moon they are regulars so refreshing the content is key to keep viewers watching.
Honestly, this series is fascinating, a truly moving experience at least for me. I only started watching it recently, and even so, I've loved it. The fact that it deals with something as common as home renovations among other things makes it very special. I hope this series doesn't end and that it's profitable because, honestly watching it in the morning while eating in bed is relaxing in every way. I reiterate that at least for me, it has been wonderful and I truly consider it a very good series. Congratulations and thank you for your dedication!
Hgtv shows are so old and the entire programs need updating. Tired of seeing old House Hunters and also being deceived by saying they are new shows but when watching, it's a repeated old show. Can you all do something about rejuvenating the entire programs bcoz I do enjoy watching HGTV but would love to see new, exciting and not the usual old scripts of "white, bright, and not what I was looking for, etc. Also, pls give us new David lottery shows. Tnk you.
HGTV has single handedly rendered the landscape of rural America a monotonous, white-on-black and black-on-white "farmhouse" style. Doesn't matter what state you're in, look at new construction in the country and it's all ubiquitous b/w "farmhouses." Not to mention that BLACK roofs are the most energy sucking color there is.
I just had to turn off 100 Day Dream Home. Why are HGTV personalities so cheezy? Stop with the forced, super excited, hyper energy. Is it so fake. In addition, why do you have the hosts act like they are doing the construction? We all know Brian is not building the brick wall so stop showing him adding a brick! Or, lets talk about demolition day. Why are we watching a host or a homeowner smash a cabinet? We all know that smashing cabinets is not how a real crew demos. You unscrew from the wall in one piece. There are a few good ones like Sin City where she is real. She is not pretending to be part of demolition and is not cheezy and sentimental.
I love HGTV. But after hearing that there is going to be another Property Brothers show, it’s pretty ridiculous. I like them but I was tired of them several shows ago. I stopped watching them. Either bring back the shows you canceled or start with something new. Repackaging the same shows over and over is getting old. You are wrecking HGTV.
This was a favorite channel until the stupid cancelation of Bargain Block. A truly great show that helps communities and has interesting charismatic hosts. Yet you kept some absolutely absurd shows (Lottery & Zillow over Bargain Block really?) You made a huge mistake.
Resort Renovation second 2 I still don’t know how the winners won I would never want to stay or select the home selected as the winner Season one was great and innovative just pure disappointment with home that won
HGTV has become a network of cookie-cutter "home improvement" shows. Each one feeling identical to the other. Huge budgets and in most cases the homeowners are just bored with their perfectly decent home and trying to have their 5 minutes of tv fame. Staged and rehearsed husband and wife team. He "remodels" and she designs and decorates.Every one of these shows is perfectly planned and clearly over-dramatized.Come up with something new for once HGTV.
I really enjoy most of the shows. However, cancellation of Farmhouse Renovation was disappointing. Zillow is a ridiculous show. Homes Family is good, except for the awful designer who does what she wants and not what people like, plus she has an attitude towards the host. I don’t like her at all. Repeating repeats of various shows gets really old, too. But I enjoy most of the shows. Very creative.
It used to be a design show, hillary pharr was great, budget block and married to real estate have been cancelled now nothing but repetitive shows, home town and my million dollar dream home
I think HGTV should go back to the basics. I'm a regular person, so I'm not interested in million dollar homes. Many of these shows are about these expensive homes and expensive designs. I think that is why they are losing viewers. Basic designs, good carpentry work, good host (who are not cussing), and just good family base shows. Maybe they will get back viewers. I have stopped watching a lot of shows because of the millions dollar renos, the curse words, the infantile behaviours and the inappropriate behavior (if there are 2 hosts). Too much for a family station. Go back to gardening, kitchen and dining upgrades, bedroom and bathroom renos, etc.I'm just being honest
I specifically bought Discovery + and then HBO MAX (once Discovery+ got rid of the ability to watch shows the day they aired) to watch HGTV shows. I watch them every morning while I eat breakfast and play on my home architect software. Like others, I hate that the channel has gone from teaching about renos and gardening to reality competition shows. Don't get me wrong, I love Rock the Block but I want to learn or at least see the work being done and not be bombarded with theatrics and the host's personal lives. Also, since the network decided to cancel ALL the good hosts like Egypt/Mike, Johnathon Knight, KEITH/EVAN and even Christina, its lost its appeal. I suppose they are doing it to bring in some younger influencers who have a TikTok and think they are designers now but it has ruined the network for me. I'm not even Gen-X but I definitely prefer them as the host/designers instead of these new younger influencer types, with the exception of Down Home Fab. I wish they had kept Bargain Block because those guys showed you how to renovate on a budget, and lets admit it, our budgets are more like theirs and not these 250K budgets. You could buy a whole house with that budget!! Or at least you used to be able to. HGTV has lost everything that was good about it and turned into reality crap just like TLC did.
I can't stand the repetitive commercials for Sketchers on HGTV.. It makes me never want to buy Sketcher shoes EVER..
HGTV is beginning to look a bit racist in their inexplicable cancellations. Not a good look. Fortunately, I'm no longer looking.
i don't know who's running the show but they should be fired! you know adults watch this channel not little kids. all this stupid silliness and unnessersary yelling is just annoying and i will no longer watch this channel.
Up until tonight my wife & I were daily viewers. We’ve always realized the network is far left of center, but watched/enjoyed nonetheless. But tonight when we started to watch a show of one husband with 2 wives, you lost us and we are now done with HGTV. Advice, keep it middle of America so it’s relatable to the majority.
There are too many competing shows on now. Also so many of the female host are all about “Look at Me”. I still watch Home Town, Fixer to Fabulous. All your viewers are not millionaires. Please get back to shows us everyday people can relate to. You are losing viewers
