Happy Tears We hired Happy Tears to be our Videographer .Truthfully I really don't remember seeing them at the wedding . Its like they just blended in to the crowd. Looking at the video they were definitely there and everywhere . How they were able to catch so many candid shotsI will never know . The video just blew us away . From the overhead drone footage of the venue to capturing all of our guests having the time of their life. They stitched the entire event seamlessly . We love the way the video came out so much .We decided to put the video on our main TV as a loop when the TV is idle . We have so many great comments on the video but the guests that wereactually at the wedding are the ones who were wowed the most . They all want to know who the videographer is. We used Happy Tears Productions for our wedding this past November, and I truly cannot say enough good things about them. We received two different style videos, and both are absolutely incredible. We constantly get compliments on how amazing they are, and they perfectly captured the emotion, fun, love, and magic of our day.From the very beginning, the owner John was so kind, professional, and easy to work with. We met with him early on, explained our vision, and he gave us such thoughtful and creative ideas that made everything even better than we imagined. Let me start by just saying, WOW. If you are searching for your wedding/ special moments/ videographer STOP LOOKING NOW. There are a million great things I could say about John Rink (the creator of Happy Tears) but i’ll settle with telling you the reasons I chose Happy Tears, without hesitation. Happy Tears caught my eye on instagram one day and I now thank God that we found each other. They offer amazing discounts for police offers and military personnel which is originally what caught my eye. Being a military wife that was exactly what sold me. Fortunately the good vibes did not stop there. After a phone call with John I felt 100% confident in my decision. He has been in this business for around 30 years BY CHOICE. He’s an older gentleman and he reminded me of my dad… and who can you trust more than your dad?! No one! Five minutes into our initial phone call I felt we knew each other for years. I’m not sure what you look for when booking a wedding vendor, but I can tell you exactly what I was looking for. A friend, someone who was willing to listen to my concerns, to help walk me through this process, someone to capture my dreams so I can cherish them forever. We got along great which was exactly what I needed. Plus that incredible discount, I guarantee you won’t find that elsewhere. On top of that, he offered a payment plan that helped take more stress away. John has a team of very talented videographers and I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Belle. She was an angel, because at our initial meeting I was the devil (it was raining and I did not plan for rain at my beach ceremony, I texted out the wrong new address so I had to send another text to 185 people, I was nasty, stressed and panicked) She walked in with a gorgeous smile on her face, could see how upset I was and just kept smiling. I promise i’m not the devil I just needed some good vibes and she brought them! She was a gem to work with, and so so stealthy! I honestly didn’t see her after I met her but she I know she saw me. Her talent is extremely evident. Some of my favorite moments from our day I am able to rewatch and relive because she went above and beyond! And now i’d like to talk about why John calls it Happy Tears. Just shy of 3 weeks after my wedding ( which is INSANELY FAST) I received my documentary style video. It is 38 minutes long and an absolute dream come true! In all honesty i’ve watched it at least 25 times. My documentary has it all, from first looks, laughs, tears, hugs, speeches, dancing and our bubbly exit. The amount of actual happy tears that roll down my face when I watch it is a number I lost count of! I can’t even express how grateful I am to John and his team for going above and beyond to capture my perfect day, perfectly. On top of that I’d like to reiterate that John is not only very timely, but will accommodate all your concerns, he is outstanding with communication. Please from one bride to another this is the vendor you NEED to book!

Amazing Video Quality!
My husband and I are so happy with how our wedding video from Happy Tears turned out and that we will have it to look back on for years to come. John was amazing from the beginning. He is kind and caring, and really takes the time to get to know his clients and help them in anyway he can. Our videographer, Jeff, was also amazing. Our video has such good quality and is just stunning. We also got it back only a week after our wedding, which we thought was pretty incredible. We absolutely recommend Happy Tears Productions to anyone that is looking for a videographer, and if you're undecided if you want to have a videographer for your wedding, do it. It is 100% worth it.

I was wrong!
I want to start this review by saying I was wrong. When my (now wife) and I discussed having a videographer at first I said we probably don’t need that. Are we actually going to watch the videos? Won’t this just be a waste of money? Well I was very very wrong. Not only did John Rink create an incredible video, but our videographer Jim ended up being one of the best additions to our wedding day. Jim didn’t just take incredible footage both with his camera and his drone, he also became our personal hype man and rallied our bridal party and guests, creating an unforgettable experience. I can guarantee if you decide to go with Happy Tears you will not regret your decision. I am so grateful I allowed myself to be convinced by my wife to hire the videography team at Happy Tears. I truly can’t imagine how this day would have gone without them, and will be recommending them to all of my friends and family.

When I first brought up the idea of having a videographer for our wedding, my fiancé was not convinced. We're a young couple trying to save wherever we can! Still, I decided to book a phone call with John, just to get an idea of what to expect. From that first conversation, we knew we had to book with him! Happy Tears is who you want for your big day! Jim was so much fun! His good vibes made everyone laugh and smile all day. He captured so much n footage and bloopers I will always be able to look back on and remember. He did an amazing job. He got the bridal party involved by asking fun questions and having some silly moments. I got my wedding video back within the month! The communication John kept with me made the difference. I felt like we grew a relationship which I think helped him develop the best video for me. The turnaround was great. My videos were perfect it captured every special moment and more.
