Peace of Mind Every Day

We have our son in the Nido room and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! I really appreciate all the updates they send through the app. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing when he naps, eats, and has diaper changes. Their communication is truly excellent. My son definitely didn’t have a hard time adjusting to the school, which says a lot. You can tell the teachers genuinely care for him and take such good care of him every day. He absolutely loves them, and that means everything to us.

Our experience with Guidepost…

Our experience with Guidepost Montessori at Montclair has truly been a blessing for our family. As our son’s very first school and daycare experience, we couldn’t have asked for a better environment for him to begin this journey. From day one, we watched him grow in ways that amazed us. He has learned so much — not just academically, but socially and emotionally. Seeing him gain independence, confidence, and curiosity has been incredible. What has meant the most to us is how deeply his teachers care. Ms. Veronica and Ms. Michele have been absolutely wonderful. Their patience, warmth, and genuine love for the children show every single day. They took the time to understand him, support him, and encourage him at his own pace. Knowing he was in such caring hands gave us so much peace of mind. One of the most special parts has been watching him interact with other children and make friends for the first time. Seeing him talk about his classmates, share, laugh, and build those early friendships has been priceless. We are so grateful for the nurturing, structured, and supportive environment Guidepost Montessori at Montclair provides. It has been the perfect first school experience for our son, and we highly recommend it to any family looking for a place where their child will truly be seen, supported, and helped to thrive.

We absolutely love our child’s Guidepost! Our two-year-old has grown so much in independence, confidence, and social skills. The guides are warm, patient, and truly care about each child. The classroom environment is calm, nurturing, and perfectly designed for hands-on learning. We feel so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our little one!

Love this Campus

We started at this campus in the fall and have truly enjoyed our sons' transitions. Our youngest began in the Nido room and has grown into a social, happy toddler thanks to the nurturing environment. Our oldest is in the Children's House program, and we deeply appreciate the emotional and academic support from his teachers. We're so grateful to be part of this wonderful community. Also, we value the Spanish immersion program. The lead teachers there have supported such growth in our children's Spanish vocabulary which means a lot to our family.

A happy place for our son

We have been at Guidepost for almost three years now, which seems insane to say. We toured originally because we wanted Montessori curriculum and the new location in Downers Grove is only a few blocks from our house. We hit the jackpot! I'm home during the day but since my son is our last of four (and the others are in elementary school all day), we wanted to give him some time around kids his own age and I wanted a break a few times a week for a few hours. This community has given us so much more than I had even anticipated. Theme days, soccer after school, school parties....Guidepost does a great job of building a special community. My relationship with the teachers and assistants is more than I could ask for. Sarah, the Head of School, is always available and on top of things in a way that's clear and productive. Everyone is always cheerful and supportive..and my son walks in with confidence because he feels accepted. There is a great balance between structure and flexibility. I'm always impressed with the way they keep the building feeling both comfortable and yet, clean and functional. Having our son at Guidepost has been amazing for our family. He's developmentally in a great spot and I really think that Guidepost is setting us up for a really smooth transition to Kindergarten, when it's time.

The peace of mind we get knowing our son is in good hands...

We have been with Guidepost for over a year, and were previously at another wonderful but play based daycare a little further away. I was very hesitant to switch my son even though this was the center we selected while I was pregnant with my son. I was hesitant to transition him after he was used to another school/ teacher etc. There was a waitlist and I can understand why! After transferring here, he did cry a little bit - it was harder on me than on him but only for a small handful of days. Very quickly, we fell in love with this school. I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. The communication is exceptional. From the teachers to the directors, everyone is accessible and responsive. As a parent, that peace of mind matters more than anything. I never feel out of the loop, and I always know I can reach someone if I have a question or concern. It's small enough that you get to know all of the staff and that also matters SO much to me as a parent. The environment feels warm, safe, and structured. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and it’s clear that the staff genuinely care about the children. Even though we’re one of many families, we never feel like “just another number.” There is a real sense of community in the building. Most importantly, the developmental growth we’ve seen in our son has been incredible. His confidence, communication skills, and social development have grown so much since starting here. He truly loves going to school each day, and that says everything. If you’re a parent looking for a childcare and education where your child will be cared for, supported, and genuinely known — this is a wonderful place to consider.

Exceptional care and learning

We’ve been a Guidepost family for over two years, with children in programs ranging from Nido through Children’s House, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The quality of care and learning is exceptional. Every guide and staff member knows every child in the building and has a genuine connection with them. Our kids feel truly loved and safe in this environment, and as a parent, I can’t ask for anything more from the place where they spend the majority of their week. There is a strong sense of community among the families, and the current leadership team has done an excellent job communicating with parents and creating meaningful opportunities for connection through family events and special activities. We’ve seen tremendous growth in our children, both socially and academically, and feel confident that they will graduate Guidepost fully prepared for kindergarten.

Guidepost Montessori - Downers

Guidepost Mont. - Downers has been very good to me and my family for over a year now. All of the teachers and staff are friendly and create a true bond with the kids, the classrooms are well kept, and most importantly my kids love going every day.

5+ Stars for Blue Ash

We have been a part of the Blue Ash Family since Guidepost opened in 2023. We felt so welcomed and confident in the staff and curriculum with our first child that it wasn’t a question to enroll our second when they were old enough. With having two children currently enrolled, we have experienced each classroom this school has to offer. The staff genuinely cares about the education and advancement of each student. We couldn’t be happier with our choice in Guidepost because we know our children have an amazing baseline to start off their early education.

The school community really is a gem

The school community really is a gem. The Lead Guides create true partnership with the families and academically I’m impressed by the gains my son has made. The admin team always helps lead solid events for the holidays and has consistent communication. It seems like Montclair’s best kept secret and in the meantime I’ll appreciate the small class sizes!

Grateful guidepost parents

We are proud guidepost parents. Our Montclair campus has been a true blessing and a lovely experience. Our child connected with the teachers much more than anywhere else we've been. They made our child feel safe and the staff here is providing us with an unbelievable experience. We are grateful to have found a trustworthy group of teachers and caretakers. We are leaving our most valued treasure in the hands of the teachers and they've made it possible for us to be at ease.Under the leadership of Ms. Aracelly, our experience has been 10/10. And Ms Josephina will always have a place in our heart for the warmth she showed our little one during a very stressful transition.

Guidepost Montessori in Wilton is an…

Guidepost Montessori in Wilton is an incredible school community! As stated, it goes beyond basic childcare/daycare and feels like a school—focused on the developmental stages of children. As a first time parent we were worried about childcare and ensuring that we were not simply finding a safe environment but one that knows this age group and the developmental stages of babies and toddlers. We have been blown away by the incredible teachers who care deeply for our son and support his growth (from Nido to Young Toddler). The communication is wonderful and as a parent we are provided opportunities for parent conferences "Milestone Meetings" where we always leave feeling as though our sons teacher know him and how we can support him together. I cannot recommend this school enough!

We absolutely love Guidepost Montessori at Spruce Tree Way in Raleigh! My baby has been there since she was 10 months old, and the experience has been wonderful. The staff are incredibly responsible and caring, and the Montessori approach truly supports children’s independence and development. What we value most is the open and constant communication. It’s a very safe place with truly extraordinary people. As a teacher myself, I deeply appreciate their professionalism, support, and kindness. Highly recommend!

Great programs!

We love Guidepost in Downtown Naperville! Our son has been here since he was in the toddler program and is now in his second year of the children's house program. Ms. Cindy and Ms. Jackie gave him so much support and nurturing as a toddler which really helped him gain the self-help skills he needed like potty training, changing his shoes, getting dressed on his own, and emotional regulation. Ms. Trinity and Ms. Mitali have taught him so much in the children's house. He is spelling his friends' names with magnet letters and doing addition and subtraction independently. The school is diverse among its staff and families, and our son has made so many great friendships along the way.

Montessori at Deerfield Parent

After touring many schools in the local area, Montessori at Deerfield was the first to check all the boxes. It is genuinely a special place. I am so grateful knowing that when I leave my child at school she is in a safe, loving, and supportive environment. The teachers and administrators pour into what they do. My daughter loves her guides and is excited to go to school everyday. She has excelled socially and academically since attending. Choosing the right school can be such a daunting task but I truly could not be more pleased with our experience here. Thank you Montessori at Deerfield!

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Guidepost Montessori. The teachers and staff are incredibly attentive, friendly, and truly caring.
