Excellent Reverse Mortgage Experience
Our counselor on this, Stephen Caruso, was exceptional in every respect. GoodLife was also the company that gave us the best deal for the reverse mortgage itself: the lowest borrowing rate, the highest amount we could use as a line of credit against our house. We asked for proposals from all the major players and a couple of minor ones. After we accepted GoodLife, Stephen stepped in and gave us white glove treatment from beginning to end, answering every question big and small, letting us know what to expect every step of the way, and showing honesty and integrity the whole time. I honestly don't have a negative thing to say about how well GoodLife and Stephen worked for us. They earned this positive review from top to bottom.

WANT THE BEST MORTGAGE BROKER CHOSE STEPHEN CARUSO
If it wasn’t for Stephen Caruso’s exceptional knowledge, patience in explaining many things Í did not understand about reverse mortgages and countless follow up calls spending time explaining everything is the main reason I chose to work with him otherwise Í may have ended up choosing a different company. I am so happy that I choose to work with Stephen as he “held me hand” all the way through the process and stuck with me despite multiple setbacks in timing not on the companies part but on my part and through it all he never became discouraged and in fact always had uplifting comments to the unfortunate setbacks in timing. Stephen has decades of experience which you can clearly tell as he always knew the answers to my questions. After this experience Í would highly recommend anyone looking to refinance your home or are interested in a reverse mortgage to forget about the other major companies Í researched the top 7 and called each of them, dealt with all of them for 3 weeks before making the decision to choose to work with Stephen because again he was the only one out of all those companies who was willing to take the time to explain the many things I didn’t understand which the others didn’t seem to want to take the time to explain before knowing whether they were going to receive the business but not Stephen he spent much of his time to help me even before I chose to work with him and Good Life Home Loans. I was so impressed that Stephen will now be my mortgage broker for life. You may get an initial quote from another financial company that may give you no origination fee as Í did however Í could barely get in touch with her, don’t be fooled remember you get what you pay for an although I chose to pay the origination fee it was very reasonable and worth every penny to have someone like Stephen as again his knowledge is superior, his length of experience gives him incredibly insight into helping you with an issues that may arise. He is a man with not just excellent public relations but human relations which is difficult to find in the world today. He truly cares about his clients. Awesome job Stephen thank you so much for helping my dreams come true.

Stephen Caruso provides excellent support
Stephen Caruso was friendly, supportive and concerned that everything went smoothly in my refinancing my Reverse Mortgage. He made things very uncomplicated in this complicated transaction so that when complete I was happy with how smoothly everything went and how simply for me. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for assistance in writing or rewriting their mortgage.

Great Experience
I was on the fence as to whether to do a reverse mortgage at this time. Dave Schulte is the most patient person I know. He answered all my questions and didn’t pressure me. Wonderful experience and so far this is the right decision for me.
