One of the aspects I valued the most was how the team adapted to evolving ideas without ever making me feel pressured. Even as I requested revisions and experimented with new directions, every suggestion was treated with professionalism, original, and perfectly aligned with the brand's voice.

Actually

Actually, I would not even give this company one star! They responded to my complaints with 'nice' sounding words, illusions of promises... and when I voiced I was going to the bank to begin a dispute on the 'sale'- never receiving the product they promised after 7ish months- They GHOSTED ME! Their work with both the editing and formatting was shoddy, abysmal, filled with errors that were not in the original manuscript I sent. Near the beginning I asked if they were using AI, and that I wanted human eyes on the work they were doing. I was assured they were not using AI. By the end of my time with them, I was thinking that using AI would have displayed more intelligence! While I have lost $ and time and nerves- I remain intact with my character- which I cannot say for them. (The 'crew' I interacted with went by the names of Adam, Steve, Mark, Rick, Henry. I won't give their last names, and I am uncertain that these are there actual names. But if you do decide to go forward with this publishing group, I recommend you not have these men engaged in your product.)

Nightmare service

I have written many books and have had them published through many different companies. Working with this company was the worst experience I have ever had. They seemed to have no idea what they were doing. They couldn't even edit. They sent me a proposed book cover with the wrong title 3 times, and then when they finally got the title correct, they mispelled Bible on the front and back cover and the spine. I worked with and gave them several chances, but when it became clear that they were INCAPABLE, I asked for a very modest partial refund, to which they refused. This company should be avoided at all costs.

The most important skill in business is…

The most important skill in business is communication. When my books didn't arrive by the delivery date, I emailed, called and texted to get the tracking number so I would know when to expect my books. Basically, I was ghosted and no one responded to my simple request to track the delivery of my books that were already two days after the promised delivery date. They still haven't arrived, I had to take the file to a local printing company and pay $500.00 to get the books printed for the meeting.

BEWARE

BEWARE - the reviews on Google are TRUE! I wish I would have read them prior to working with them. I was hopeful to have them help me format a cookbook for me. I sent them the recipes, page layout and photos! All they needed to do was type it in their format, and my pictures and call it done. After 3 revision attempts, I asked for a refund. Yet to see that, and they only offered half a refund since they "did work". The "work" is so embarrassing!! For just doing formatting, they clearly have never seen a recipe! They also did it in English and Spanish. As you can see formatting makes no sense. They didn't use the recipes I sent them with detailed cooking directions/descriptions. They used stock photos from a quick Goggle search, not my photos. It is so bad! It's like I sent them directions to make a table and they sent me back a bike. I hope I get a full refund - based on their contract, they violated their contract. It's so bad!! RUN!!!!!!!

I worked with Mark Wilson and Steve

I worked with Mark Wilson and Steve, they kept wanting more money. I was already into them for 1700 dollars and they wanted 7,000 dollars more for the SEO part of it before the book was competed. When I told them no lets just finish the contract that you already provided and then we will see. As soon as I said no they changed there phone number and prior to that they gave me another ficticious number. Was not able to talk to anyone again. If there is such a thing as 0 stars I would of chosen that.

This was the absolute worst company…

This was the absolute worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my whole life and I’m 61 years old. I would work 35 to 50 hours a week repairing and editing their work. It was supposed to be the other way around but every time they sent me back to work all the work that I did the Previous week came back with misspelled words, sloppy and ignoring all the work that I did the whole week. And this went on for months. They promised 10 to 12 weeks. My book would be ready and it went on for eight months. The whole time they kept trying to sell me another package and I know that they ignored me and did really crappy work because I wouldn’t spend more money or buy another package. But here’s the thing, you have to trust somebody to give more money and they hadn’t even fulfilled the first agreement we made or done anything they promised to do. They would actually scoff at me every time they tried to sell me something and I wouldn’t. Scoffing, no. Company ever. And I am a sales rep. I would never treat somebody this way. Very dishonorable, dishonest, and they must live under tremendous pressure to sell, sell, sell. At the end after I literally worked my off as a full-time job and eight months in, I finally felt like it was going to be OK, but I did all the work and I’m a first time Author what the heck did I know. They would not give me my book cover in the right format to put it on Barnes & Noble and Amazon like we agreed on, the service I paid for. So I’m still not on Barnes & Noble because it’s not formatted correctly for it and the book cover isn’t the right size. I did finally get myself on Amazon, but I had to pull it down two times because it was problems with it. So basically my first 30 friends and family that bought the book there was all kinds of problems with it. I just got my third Version on Amazon last night and I’m up to chapter 7 and it looks good so far. So I’m praying that I don’t have to go through this again. I would not recommend these people at all. If you want to go back-and-forth for eight months and then have them scoff at you because you won’t spend more money, if you want to be totally ignored and treated like dog poop on your shoe , then these people. They are liars. I lost at least five months of my life when I could’ve been selling a book if they would’ve done with a promise they were going to do. And so I literally didn’t launch a good book until after Christmas when I should’ve launched in August.

Ghost Writers Crew Marketing Scam

In May 2023, I invested $1000.00 for editing, a 4–6-month social media campaign, and the book's publication on Amazon. On June 28, I further invested in an 18-month contract for an epic marketing and social media campaign totaling $5600. Regrettably, the marketing campaign was abandoned months ago despite being scheduled to end in December 2024. The website, a key component of the campaign, was created at the barest minimum. It also lacked a sales system, which was supposed to be the primary focus of the marketing campaign. Today, the location of the website and trailer are unknown, although they were initially created. In addition, I was persuaded to invest $2500.00 for an audiobook. Thus far, there have been zero sales on the audiobook. Despite their rare professional emails to resolve issues, the results have been non-existent, adding further to the frustration and dissatisfaction. Mark Wilson, Adam Myers, Jimmy Hill, and Steve Parker were the four prominent people working on the marketing social media project. I have communicated numerous times regarding the website and the lack of a marketing campaign. On May 29, 2024, Steve Parker and Jimmy Hill had the audacity to try to upsell me on a similar marketing campaign. I refused to invest more money due to the unsuccessful sales history and lack of communication. For obvious reasons, the website has not sold any books, and there has been no indication of advertising on Google. Overall, 55 eBooks and two books were sold on Amazon, which comes to less than $100 in sales. I could have marketed the Amazon book for roughly $100.00 through KDP marketing. Due to their failed promises, I have requested a refund several times to no avail.

They took me for a $1700 total.

They took me for a $1000 on an informational book for the elderly on how to save money. I was working with Mark Wilson and a Steve. Then they asked for $700.00 more, which i gave for copywriting and i am sure that was not legit. I bad fun making this book but only 1/4 done. Then they wanted $7000 more for making a movie. I said i do not want no dam movie, it is aninformational. It was then i knew i was scammed. He said how about just an SEO package for $3500. Which of course he just split it in half, no math there. So then he just sarted sending me a manuscript that you could not even open and it disappeared in 2 days. He would send it on a friday and hope your busy all weekend. Earlidr when you could read it the pictures were upside down and duplicated. I was hoping that they would atleast fulfill the contract. Then he schedules a meeting on the phone and it was discontinued the number was. Remember MARK WILSON IS A SCAM with ghostwriterscrew!

Beware of Ghost Writer Crew

If I could give zero stars I would. About a year ago I contracted Ghost Writer Crew to market my book that had been previously published. It has been a nightmare. To date they have not done anything but give me empty promises and try to get me to buy additional services when they have not done the things I had already paid for. I had to help them get my book published on Amazon. My book was also to be published on other platforms, that has not happened. They created a Facebook page but there has not been any traffic to the page. They still have not created an Instagram page. I paid for a website and domain and the website is up, but no traffic. They promised massive traffic, it has not happened. There are other problems but it would take too much time. Suffice it to say, this has been a costly and disastrous experience. They are no longer taking my calls.

Poor service and they don't know how to edit

I would not even give this a one star if I didn't have too. They absolutely do not honor their contract, they will not refund your money, they do not know how to complete certain genres, and you will receive terrible customer service. The best customer service with top quality will be at Barnes and Nobles. Do not use this company.
