We weren’t sure how a “date night” in a beige office could help, but Ana’s mix of humor and neuroscience kept us leaning in instead of tuning out. In ten sessions we quit the blame loops and learned to pause before reacting. Progress isn’t magic, and parking’s tight, but we’ve laughed more in the last month than we had in years. Four stars—because we’re still practicing, but we’re optimistic.
Ana provides more than marriage therapy. She teaches you the science behind what makes us who we are and how to work with one another based on that. My husband and I personally found her sessions very valuable not just in our marriage but with all relationships (friendships, parental relationships, etc.) in our lives. She teaches you the skills to work through the inevitable disagreements and how to understand one another better. What we both took away from our sessions is that we are very capable of making our marriage work if we are committed, put in the time and effort, and utilize the skills we learned. We both highly recommend Ana to any and all who are interested!
This program is excellent!! Having been through marriage counseling and other counseling in the past, I believe this program is very helpful to a couple who are committed to working on their relationship and want to learn and grow with the relationship they committed to. Anna is excellent I never once felt she was bias with either of us. She made us aware that this program was going to take work. Homework was part of this program. Like everything in life you will reap more by committing more. I truly believed this was the best counseling experiences for me. Although my marriage failed and I was bitter. I took so much from this experience and I will be a better partner in my future relationships. I’m thankful to Anna!! I regret not taking more time to heal before responding about my experience originally. This is well worth the investment in money, time and commitment!!!
Ana is nothing short of a miracle worker filled with incredible knowledge & skills of how to handle conflict, communication, intimacy, individual differences, & beyond. After 16 years of marriage- Covid quarantine threw us over the edge. We knew we had been arguing a great deal, but found it to be our “norm”. We had lost touch with ourselves & one another, and were just living day by day in a frigid environment of harsh communication, frustration, silent treatments, & very little intimacy. We were heading down a road towards divorce. But- our 23 years together had us both feeling that we needed to fight for our marriage & each other. We got into this together, and we’d get out together. That’s when we met Ana & our lives changed in a way that we could have only dreamed of. After our initial consultation with Ana, we knew there was hope for us and that she was going to help us bring our happy marriage back. We immediately booked & attended our individual sessions, and both felt enlightened afterwards. We had our first together meeting with her (in person) and didn’t hesitate to commit & proceed with 10 more sessions. With each session, we found ourselves and shed light on the circumstances that led us to the point we were at before Ana. She taught us the “tools” we needed to be more empathetic of one another, be more present to each other, be a safety net for each other, be team players, and to put our marriage FIRST. We left each session reflecting on what we’d learned about ourselves & each other, and vowed to follow her direction towards a positive change. Between the homework, videos, & valuable lessons she taught us, we know that we couldn’t have repaired on our own. Through Ana’s commitment to us & our commitment to one another, we’ve persevered and are better at communicating, better at showing affection, better at empathizing, more intimate, more secure, & most of all- HAPPY. We know that marriage is continuous work & are eternally grateful for the knowledge, skills, & tools that we’ve been taught. The investment that we made in ourselves & our marriage is by far the BEST investment. We will miss seeing Ana and learning from her, but we know that she’ll be there should we ever find ourselves needing her relationship wisdom & guidance.
Ana is not only a great relationship coach, but she also has a way of making you feel very comfortable immediately. She listens intently and gives each person in the relationship a chance to share. We realized working with Ana that our marriage was not unique and that communication issues can be overcome. She gave us great tools to use and apply in our marriage and helped us see how the tools apply in our daily lives. She also has a great sense of humor. We both appreciated Ana's forthrightness and honesty as well as her compassion and empathy when called for. Hopefully we will not need to see her again, but if we do, we would not hesitate.
When we met Ana for the first time, we were both at our wits end & unhappy with our 16 yr marriage (20 yr relationship). We had lost our ability to see each other in a positive manner, communication had broken down, we were in a vicious cycle of not dealing with conflict effectively, we were distant & resentful, etc.-leaving each of us feeling unheard, not respected, and worst of all feeling unloved!!! Wondering how did we let our relationship get here???On a positive note, we were both committed to fighting for our relationship! We both felt there was HOPE after our first session with Ana! In our opinion all relationships would benefit from Ana's Marriage Rescue sessions! The workbook/homework/videos assigned are very helpful in learning skills to deal with all the issues we were experiencing, along with our sessions Ana, she guided us with any issues we were specifically having, in a gentle way teaching us to see how we could handle it differently for a much better outcome. Ana is a delightfully positive person to work with...very different from conventional marriage counseling! Well worth the investment, time and effort!! So we have graduated and continue to remind ourselves when old habits try to surface of how Ana taught us to handle it more effectively! With practice...change happens! We are grateful to have our Marriage, Intimacy & Friendship back on track! Thank you Ana...
I wish there was a way to give 10 stars. Ana is a miracle worker. My wife and I went to her with our marriage in complete shambles. Ana was able to give us the skills to fix our very broken relationship. I will admit that I was very doubtful that anything could repair us. My wife admits that she was certain she was through with our marriage and ready for divorce. Ana helped us return us to a happily married couple. We continue to use the skills she provided us to effectively communicate and support each other. Honestly, it was the best money we’ve ever spent. She’s a real gift.
We were going in circles, trying to figure out how to stop the same arguments from happening again, again, and again. These fights would snowball into bigger fights and we would end up thinking “How did we get here?!” We simply could not solve our problems on our own, no matter how hard we tried. We were almost ready to give up and decided to go see Ana. Words cannot express how much of a difference her coaching methods and sessions made in our lives...individually and as a couple. We went in broken and put everything on the table. She immediately helped us understand and recognize what we were actually feeling, and not what society has taught us to believe about ourselves. We learned new skills on how to identify and manage our emotions and how to effectively communicate with each other. We have a deeper understanding of each other and learned how to appreciate our differences. We grew closer throughout the process and found ways to forgive and heal. I would recommend Ana to any couple! She is wonderful at helping you truly see yourself and learn how to approach the ups and downs of your relationship in a constructive - NOT DESTRUCTIVE - kind of way. Thank you Ana. We will always cherish what you have done for us and our family.
Unfortunately, there is no magical formula to "fix" a relationship but Ana provides crucial tools, insight, and experience to help get a relationship on track. While it is no easy task, the sessions/homework challenge each partner in the relationship to reflect inward to assess his/her needs and evaluate how well those needs are being communicated. Let's face it communication is hard and even more difficult with the ones you love. I have found without the right tools it is too easy to fall into traps such as: expecting others to read our minds and our hearts, assigning "blame" on others for our feelings, and pushing (or shutting out) our partners when they are needed the most. Ana utilizes techniques of non-violent communication that allow us (the couple) to communicate our true needs while respecting our partner in the process. If you are willing to be vulnerable and put in the effort then Ana will be there to guide you. Ana's relationship coaching technique can be personally catered to the specific needs of your relationship. Ana is often willing to take the pulse of the relationship and adjust to immediate needs. I would highly recommend Ana's programs to any couple wanting to improve communication in their relationship.
Ana has been a wonderful person to work with, she is able to understand each point of view without even stating it. You can tell she has experience as she is able to see our cycle of conflict before we let her know how we have been fighting. Ana has gone above and beyond during our sessions to help my partner and I realize how we have been feeling. Afters sessions, she has not only provided us homework in workbooks and videos, but she has recommended further resources such as phone applications and even odometers, that have helped me become more aware of my physical symptoms and the emotions that I am feeling. She truly understands the core of each conflict and is able to help my partner and I get to the bottom of it. It is so nice to know that there is a way to make things work without suppressing issues, but in fact, by stating them with kindness and awareness. This program has opened my eyes to the the ways my words can hurt others and how self-destructive my assumptions can be. The tools definitely work, the difficult part for me was being brave enough to admit my core feelings and my needs. But the more that I am able to do so, the better I feel after and the more my partner is willing to help me meet my needs.
My wife and I had an extremely difficult year in 2018! We decided it was necessary to find some coaching help with our marriage. We were very close to splitting up. Luckily we found Ana. Ana helped both my wife and I better understand what was going on in the relationship. Why we weren't connecting anymore. My wife and I are pretty stubborn and it took some time. With Ana's guidance and coaching. We learned so much about ourselves and how to reconnect.I am extremely happy to say that marriage is beautiful again. It didn't happen over night. It took us about 6 months to really learn about ourselves and learn more about each other again. My wife and I would recommend Ana to anyone at any stage in their relationship. I cam to Ana at the verge of divorce after almost 20 years together with my husband. Instead of encouraging us to spill our guts about things that have happened in the past in a "safe" place, she encouraged us to look at ourselves, what triggered our behaviors and our feelings and our reactions- getting to the root cause of our marital discord. We learned tools, how to better understand each others needs and how to communicate. Now our marriage is back on track and we have the tools to continue on for years and decades to come.
Ana was great for our failing marriage. She genuinely cares about your feelings and knows exactly how to reword them so your partner understands. We were very comfortable each and every time we had a session and we continue to use what we learned each and every day. We honestly believe that had we not gone to counseling, our marriage would have ended in divorce.
Working with Ana was a refreshing change from standard therapy. If you put forth the effort, you'll begin to see the difference of the course over each session. I've become a better person by practicing the tools you'll learn. I'd recommend Ana to any couple that wants to fight to save their relationship/marriage. If you accept it isn't going to be easy, it will present challenges, it will get emotional yet you practice the exercises, you'll shock yourself at what's possible. I'll part with these words: Embrace the changes regardless of what brought you in. If you make the effort, you'll reap the rewards. Ana is great.
We had the same old story - a marriage that was rapidly declining. I knew we needed help so I looked online and found Ana's coaching approach. I was immediately intrigued that it was different then counseling. And the only bad review I could find anywhere wasn't about her program itself. We finished her coaching in 10 weeks and it has been nothing short of an amazing miracle. We are back on track - no more fighting and the love and connection is stronger than ever. My husband and I could've done it without Ana. We had such dysfunctional and neglected marriage. We would of given up had we not taken the last step to call Ana. It has been tough, but slowly we are putting the pieces back together. We have grown together in more ways than I can imagine. Thank you Ana for your guidance that saved our marriage.
I want to say thank you for all your help over the last three months. My husband, after nearly twenty years together, told me he was no longer happy in the marriage and "wanted out". The news hit me like a ton of bricks because i still love him, and realized i didn't want to lose him. It was a wakeup call for me. The next morning while he was moving out i came across Ana's website. My relationship with my husband started to change after my first session with Ana. She helped me realize i was behaving contrary to what i was needing... after that, instead of arguing with him, i took Ana's advice and put our issues aside. I practiced behaviors that i learned in the homework and my husband and i became closer. My husband joined me in the sessions with Ana, we are now back together and know we are going to make it. Instead of being combative, we are enjoying each other's company again. My husband is also being more attentive, loving and passionate. Ana has been influential in our lives and we really appreciate her. For other couples having marital issues, i know it can be difficult to stay committed to the steps outlined in Ana's program but they work..... I had actually sat down with a divorce attorney that's how bad our marriage had become. But by some miracle I was told by a friend how Ana had helped save their marriage. I remember reluctantly showing up in her office the first day. However I also remember her saying "this is all solvable." We jumped in and things just started to click. My husband and I did the homework together and we started to see how we were making things worse between us. Thankfully we had Ana helping us find our way to falling back in love with each other again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Our marriage wouldn't have made it, before we found you!!
