Fry's at Rita Ranch
I went to the Fry's at Rita Ranch to get chuck roast, which was on sale and a bag of Cara Cara oranges because they were only $2.69 with the digital coupon. I absolutely hate their app because unlike Safeway's app, this one doesn't allow you to actually clip the coupon, it just says this: Save Deal to List. What does that mean??? I clicked on that assuming that would do the trick, but alas no. Also, they had navel oranges and one other kind in the same bin, all packaged the same. I grabbed a bag of navel oranges, not realizing that and of course at the self checkout, it rang up full price. I had to go back to produce, find the Cara Caras and try again. I ended up at the customer (lack of) service desk and the young lady behind the counter couldn't figure it out either. Finally another woman came over and I guess she simply deducted $2.30 from my purchase in order to give me the correct price of $2.69. I stood at the service desk for 15 minutes for 2 bucks. Ridiculous! I told her I'll never shop there again and I don't know why I even went in there this time as there is a problem9 times out of 10. Their app is a nightmare and their prices are very high. Also their employees are not friendly or approachable. The young lady at the service desk was friendly, I must say and she told me she hates their app too. Who could blame her??

Misogynist employees and managers--again
I've complained about the same thing before. Your store at 91st Ave. and Union Hills in Peoria hires a bunch of misogynists. Obviously you don't train them to be aware of their own prejudices. I gave your store a second chance due to the location being close. Tonight's version was about your empty milk shelves between 8 and 8:30 p.m. I came to the store for plant milk that is not flavored vanilla, not oat milk, not chocolate or any other flavor. I like Silk regular flavor milk Or Blue Diamond. Or Simple Truth. Your shelves were sold out again, always later in the evening, so it's not like today was different than any other time I've been inconvenienced by your empty shelves. Clearly your store does not keep up with the demands, or else they would be stocked. I work and cannot get there early in the day. After finding someone who was willing to help, he went back there and said it was not to be found in the pallets still sitting there unopened. A 6' tall man with glasses and dark hair who I've seen there many times before told me that the pallets were there for the night staff who hadn't arrived yet. He found something that was not the correct product. It was that "parental" type of "NO" that did it for me. I went to the store for milk and left with none. I'm so tired of being patient and waiting for you to catch up to the fact that we are half of the population and that your store's misogyny looks out of date and out of place in this day in age. You are nothing like Ralph's where I shopped for many years before moving to Arizona. Your store absolutely sucks, and I'll only go in there now for one or two things on my way home, and only if no other store is open. You have no intention of accomodating your shopper's needs, or adjusting your employee's schedules to accomodate the demands. So, advertise heavily to your male customers who have nothing to worry about. I'm sick of complaining. I really am worn out from this fiasco you put me through. I'm just leaving for good.

Raping consumers while you get richer
Your app is very hard to use. Your in store price signs say low low prices. You are a liar. A head of lettuce is a $1.39 for crap. You should be ashamed of yourself for screwing over fellow Americans. Tariffs or not. Thank you for bending us fellow Americans or non Americans over and shoving it straight up our butts. Your app sucks and so does your store prices . All i see is one star reviews. Good job kroger???????!!!!!!

Ongoing Problem at Fry’s
I have re-occurring issue shopping online at Fry’s. The shoppers are super nice and usually no complaints about the products except they are now holding two amounts when you order online. The first amount is from the original order you place. After they shop depending on items not available or the cost of items by the pound could fluctuate a few dollars more or less. It used to be that when you picked up your order the actual amount would clear on your bank and the difference in price would be held. It could be between 3 to 10 dollars which is ok. I average $180-200 per week. It has been their practice in the last couple of months where they clear one amount and hold the other entire amount, not the difference in price. I have no access to those $200 and they say it would go away 5-7 business day. I’m not ok with that. I contacted my bank and the person who helped said they have been having this complain with Fry’s. No other store where I shop does this and no one, not even the corporate office has helped or called/ email me back to let me know is and how they’re going to solve it. They have their hands in your bank account and will not do anything to fix it.

I shopped at Frys Food on 555 E Grant…
I shopped at Frys Food on 555 E Grant RD Tucson, AZ 85705I have to say that there is a woman who works there, she is very tall and fat and also unpleasant, she told me this, go what are you waiting for and in a rude tone, in my 25 years in America I have never experienced it like that, just because I let her go in front of me, that person works at that Fry's, she had no reason to behave like that, when I was leaving she stopped and looked at me and said get lost, go what are you waiting for, then I told her, what you are doing and how you are talking, you are shouting at me, it is based on hatred for how I look and the color of my skin.., I called the Manager of that Fry's facility, and told him who it was, he knew and he just said good that you told me that, in my opinion I hope that person gets fired.. I am sure that she has done more of that in the future and in the jobs where she works. We don't need such people around us. We are consumers, and we leave money there for them to get paid for what they do.

I would give it zero stars if I could
I would give it zero stars if I could. The stupid thing will not work. Click on sale items and then get ripped off when you still get charged the regular price. Then good luck getting help from the cashier's standing there sucking their thumbs..

Honesty in employees
I lost my wallet on 5/2/25 at Fry's gas station (13982 w.Waddell Rd. & N. Litchfield Rd.) in Surprize AZ, while going to Reno. I didn't realize it till I was 200 miles west. I called and talked to Richard, the station mgr. He told me the wallet was found and he would put in the safe for me.Due to company policy, he could not mail it. I finally retured on 5/9/25 and he gave it to me complete with my cards & monies. He refused a reward! Richard was great and you should be proud to have him.

I have been using Fry's US Bank Card
I have been using Fry's US Bank Card. I paid on 2/10 my minimum, they charged me $29 late fee because they posted it the next day. I will never use Fry's US Bank card again nor will I ever shop at Fry's gain.

Everyone should be very aware shopping…
Everyone should be very aware shopping at the Frys at Gilbert/Ocotillo! This happened to me twice in one week, it seems that when the meat department reduces chicken to sell it quick it doesn’t always scan right. Foster farms boneless chicken breast was marked down to 99cents per pound, it did ring up @ 99cents a pound but the weight was actually doubled the actual weight that was on the package. I bought multiple packages and they all rang up that way. Of course no one knows how to ring it up correctly and I stood there for 20 minutes while they figured it out. The real kicker is that the same thing happened a few days later on a different brand of chicken once again no one knows how to fix it. I am starting to think they are purposely do this.

How can a food store not offer bread? What you call bread is not bread, none of it. Go find out what bread is and learn how to make it.

I had a problem with the fuel pump…
I had a problem with the fuel pump sticking on and I was unable to stop it for a few dollars. Yes I was upset (because I got gas on me) and asked for a manager. After a few minutes the clerk came back and said there was nothing they could do. No manager would come out. I went in the store and asked for the manager. The desk clerk paged the manager three times and no one showed. This is the location on Hunt Road in San Tan valley AZ. The managers name called by the clerk was Miles (or some variant spelling). The date was in September 2024 in the afternoon. We just moved here and never had a problem with Fry's before. Sorry, not the end! A week later my wife could not get her prescription at the drive thru. They said they were understaffed and couldn't help her. She asked for the manager and he said he couldn't help her (same store). We have switched our shopping (more expensive) to Safeway and my wife's prescriptions as well. Oh yes, I even called the state office for Fry's and they didn't respond. If someone from Kroger corporate reads this, maybe attention should be paid.

They lack communication and…
They lack communication and professionalism. I don't like frys, they have good meat and that's about it. They're really not honest about their prices sometimes, or they just make it hard to get the sales price. Yeah, I was told I'd get a coupon for a flu vaccine and it never happened. This isn't the only time I've experienced lies from them and that's why I try my best to avoid frys as much as possible.

My recent pickup order was missing an item.
My recent pickup order was once again missing an item. Normally it is missing multiple items. The produce being selected is close to rotten almost every time. I have received items already past their expiration date as well as moldy products. I have also received items that were not ordered and received more of an item than requested. I still want my missing item and would go back for it, but the live chat and the automated customer service line offered only a refund. I am not able to get through to a live person to straighten this out. Now I am a thoroughly frustrated shopper that will probably shop elsewhere. Horrible experiences on numerous transactions leads me to believe this is the best they have to offer.

Fry's is pitiful.
I just walked out of the Fry's food store on Combs and Gantzel. Tried to do the self-checkout had three different women that couldn't figure out how to price my merchandise. I was actually embarrassed for them. They had no answers to my questions. They were completely rude, and they just walked away from me. Probably won't ever shop at Fry's again. This happens every time I go in there and try to use their app or try and get sale prices that they never honor.

so convenient to have them right at the end of my block…… But I need to find another grocery store. The fruit is always rotten, And forget about purchasing meat the meat is absolutely terrible at Fry locations. What happened to them? It is terrible that they don’t take pride in the quality of their food.

False Advertising and Incompetence in Ordering
I visited Frys Foods today to redeem my Frys coupon for a free gallon of Arizona green tea. I discovered a completely empty shelf and none in the back. Why doesn't this store learn from its mistakes? The shelf should be full not empty. I will say this is a type of false advertising. Most of the other types of Arizona tea are empty as well. Pathetic but true whoever is ordering is incompetent.

Rude employee woman at Fry”s 101 & N 59th location
I went to the Fry’s store around 10pm without knowing the store closes at 10pm. I got a couple of things including grapes that was at $3.99, but machine was showing $7.99. When asked for help, a young woman came over and said I need a digital coupon. When I asked if it’d take long to use the coupon, she got annoyed and raised her voice saying: “Do you know we are closed?!”. When I said well your door and a cashier machine was open? She ignored me and left me, whenI called her, she said: settle down! When I said I need her name , she answered with rude voice: no you don’t, asked again, she kept saying the same. Then she threatened to call security if I didn’t leave. I told her I will return to find out her name and she said that would be creepy. Such rude customer service, who keeps such a rude employee? She will do it again, wherever place she will be working at. Definitely will avoid Fry’s , they need to do better with customer service. Such an upsetting experience. There were two men standing next to her, at least they were not rude, it almost seemed like the woman was trying to impress them with her bold attitude towards the customer. In the past, one of them was always polite, he works in that area often. Such a bad attitude!
