Excellent itinerary & great value. Extremely efficient company - despite the Middle East bombings they found us an alternative way home that was safe. They also paid for 2 extra nights at Hotels. Whatever questions we asked were answered quickly. Great customer service.
We have now returned from a fabulous holiday in Costa Rica and I wanted to say thank you very much for organising it all for us Myra. All the pickups and transfers went like clockwork, even down to being given a sticker at one transfer stop so we didn't have to pay to use the bathroom! Quite a feat of logistics. We had a wonderful time and would use Flightsandpackages again.
The 3 capital river cruise to Vienna, Budapest+ Brataslavia was an excellent trip , good value for money , amazing ship + lovely staff. The only thing I would change would be to have transfers from + to the airport ( obviously this would be at a cost). Also the Great Western Hotel we stayed in on the first night had been changed to The Plaza, which was still a nice hotel but confusing.
Krishnakumar, cab no. KL32L8516 was our driver.The Kerala tour was a great experience. It was well organised and staff at the London office were very helpful. The itinerary was full and little time was wasted as our driver had pre booked guides at the major sites. Kumar was an outstanding driver. He was friendly, informative and knew all the best places to stop for rest breaks en route. We cannot recommend him highly enough, as he contributed much to the enjoyment of our holiday.
Great value holiday
Just returned from a spectacular eleven night tour of Kerala. From beginning to end the tour was seamless with our driver, Lali, being atuned and responsive to our every need. We were provided with front row seats at all the excursions and constantly supported with timings and directions. Every hotel was superb with service, and particularly food, that surpassed our expectations. We can particularly recommend Pepper County Homestay where Cyril and Dolly were wonderful hosts and the Tea Harvester where the food was fantastic and the views awe-inspiring. Flights were on time and Emirates are a joy to travel with. Flew back with Etihad who are not quite to the same standard but pretty close. Communications with Flights and Packages team were timely and always polite and helpful.
A very good and balanced trip spoiled by a very dirty House Boat at Kerala. This was particularly disappointing as the boat trip was what my wife most looked forward too.Our driver, Renjith, was excellent.A very competent driver and an all round nice person. He added to the quality of the holiday!
We had a great trip all organised by Ankita. Rome, Florence and Venice. The only thing I would have changed would have been having our hotel in Rome a bit more central. Also, we didn't give ourselves enough time to figure out the Termini Train Station and missed our train but all part of the adventure. Florence was our favourite hotel and city! Thank you so much for a memorable trip.
We have just got back from a southern Indian tour. We thought it was amazing. Our driver Arun made our holiday. A good mix of culture, wildlife and relaxation. The organisation was first class and faultless.
The whole experience was wonderful.Our driver Kannon made our holiday so special as he was absolutely excellent.He was attentive,can excellent driver and just made our whole holiday extra special He is a credit to the company Anyone having him as their driver are beyond lucky.
I have been very impressed with Flights and packages from the booking stage through to the holiday itself. The agent I dealt with (Ankita) was very helpful in the booking process and once when I had a query on the holiday itself. Everything went smoothly which is all you want from a holiday
We booked our holiday to India in December 2025, leaving 24th January 2026. Not much time to organise everything but the service and support from our agent, Pam, was first class. The holiday was everything we could have wished for and all of the travel arrangements around India were excellent. You know you are in good hands when the agent exudes confidence and a thorough understanding of your particular requirements. And all the guides and drivers in India were polite, attentive and totally on top of their game. We could not recommend this travel company more highly.
I recently experienced the Southern India Explorer Tour. It was an amazing experience. The guide, Rajesh, was superb as was the pre-trip organisation by Khuram. The selection of sights and hotels was excellent and so was the delicious South Indian food! I can certainly recommend this tour to others, particularly those who want to experience a part of India away from the crowded Golden triangle tours.Above all I’d like to thank my guide and driver, Rajesh, for his professionalism, safe driving and for sharing his huge knowledge and passion for southern India.A wonderful tour!Rupert Dean
Just back from a fabulous holiday to India organised by Flights and Packages. With particular thanks to Ankita for all her hard work in arranging this for us. It was a fabulous experience. Our trip to the Golden Triangle was enhanced by our driver Rahul who was with us throughout this breathtaking tour. Plus, we benefitted from the knowledge and enthusiasm of a series of top class local tour guides who took us to all the key attractions in each locality. In particular, our trip to the beautiful Taj Mahal in certainly one we will never forget.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to India but there were some things that could be improved. Our driver was very enthusiastic but drove far too fast and jerky. He endeavoured to please us all the time, kindly seeking out clean washrooms for me regularly ,but his command of English could have been better and some things were lost in translation and consequently inaccurate. Also out itinerary was altered without our knowledge and consultation ,i e a safari at 12.30 in the midday sun is not conducive to viewing animals,very disappointing . The food was mostly very good. Wayanad , the house boat,the Nilgiri hills and the Nilgiri train were excellent, as were the staff in the last hotel at Poovar, Isola di cocco who couldn't be more charming and helpful.
We have just returned from our 13 day trip to Southern India. We had a great time with so much packed into the schedule. Particular highlights were the stay at CGH Wayanad Wild Earth resort, the houseboat overnight stay and Poovar. Unlike other guests our ‘free’ massage at the last hotel in Poovar was really good. Not really a lowlight but the CGH hotel in Kochi was our least favourite with a strange ‘rave’ type event happening on our second night. All of the other hotels were pretty amazing, big rooms and really helpful and attentive staff. We can’t sign off here without mentioning our brilliant driver Reny. There are some quite long distances involved and it’s a challenge to navigate big cities and roads that are half finished with drivers seemingly unaware of any kind of rules. Reny’s driving was excellent and we felt completely safe with him. He was very adept at getting through all of the scheduled stops and dropping us off/picking us up as arranged without fail. We had some great conversations with him about family and life in India. Thank you Reny. Overall for the money we would definitely recommend this package and was happy with the service from Flights and Packages (Sophia) and would use them again.
I went to Kerala on a 10 day tourTravelling solo I booked it with Pam who was absolutely brilliant she even helped me with my visa I highly recommend this company felt totally looked after throughout the booking and all throughout the tour
A comprehensive tour which was well organised although I was disappointed in the Jeep safari which was in the middle of the day when most animals were asleep. Definitely no tigers as shown on the advert.We saw more wildlife on the way there!Our driver Reny was most considerate and skilfully negotiated all traffic conditions. Two of the 5 star rated hotels didn't quite live up to expectations but overall the holiday represented good value for money.
Even though we arrived in Bangalore at 02.00 our driver, Reny, was all smiles. He drove us for 1,800kms and was always very helpful. Our hotels were a very good standard, although we were unable to use the pools on a couple of occasions due to events taking place. Everything went like clockwork. I would use them again.
We have just finished the main part of our holiday with Flights and Packages in Southern India. Last year we did the Kerala trip, we had Balu as our driver. From talking to others on the similar trips at hotels we realised how exceptional he is. We requested him for our more bespoke version of Southern India, that I worked with Khuram on. Balu was our driver again. Nothing is too much for him, he is pleasant and friendly to spend long journeys with and ensure everything is running smoothly. I am not sure our last two visits to Southern India would be the same without him. He is particularly attentive with my husband who has some mobility issues. Balu is a star. Trying to work out a trip for next year, where we could have him again. Thank you Balu.
