I ordered a 50cc trike on Monday Thursday it had not been processed so I called they tell me my scooter will be ready in 2025 it's September 26 2024 they will not call you back or answer email I would not buy for them motobuys.com is the best great communication
Never received item or any notification telling me if there was an issue with order.
That call me to make sure that the part was the right one too send. And it was right. No problem. Yes thay are doing great.
The seats were torn and missing the spare tire. I’ve ordered from you before. This was very disappointing
Horrible service. They took 7 weeks to send me the Certificates of Origin for 2 gas scooters that I had purchased. All they gave were excuses about the manufacturing company sending the certificates to them. Evidently they cannot print out the Certificates like other companies but have to request it from their suppliers, sit and wait for it to come to them then remail it to their customers. Other online companies print it themselves and send it out. Do not buy from them as your certificate will come to you almost 2 months later.
No instructions for assembly for the model I purchased. I was originally told to YouTube instructions, which I could never find. Responses to my calls were useless as I was sent to use their email service, which was horrible. No follow up at all. Very rude when I questioned the charge to my card. Luckily I have a nephew and friend who helped me to finish assembly. Would not recommend!!
The service and product were good but I had damage and still have not heard anything back.Its very disappointing that service seemed to end once the sale was made, especially since I purchased 3 vehicles at one time.
Bought 3 four wheelers. I knew the body of one was cracked when it was on the truck. Bought the insurance for delivery, noted it on shipping paperwork, took pictures and called right away. A year and a half later they finally have another body (not the same color) and are telling me that I need to pay more money to get a new body shipped to me.
i've had this go kart for year and a half they shipped it to me with 2 bag of nuts an bolts and no instructions how to put this together called them told me they don't them after sometime got it done ran for 10 seconds quit good old jeff said it was the cockpit had to pay for it didn't work told me to take it to a shop they pay for 2hrs of labor told them it will take awhile to get it in the shop get in the shop it's the carburetor tell them 95 dollars plus shipping find the same carburetor75 dollars send the carburetor and the bill oh sorry to late to be reimbursed bunch of BS now it runs for 500ft stop won't go forward or backup so a year and half ran 20min piece of junk I
I've experienced the same issues as in other reviews about this company, rude staff, additional shipping charges after purchase. Beware of the warranty scam. I purchased a Trailmaster TM 29 dirt bike for my grandson as a Christmas gift 12/25/2022. Also purchased the extended warranty or as they call it Service Package Premium for $79.99. Now I understand that these dirt bikes aren't as high quality as the big-name brands, so when a bolt broke no problem trip to the hardware store and replace with a grade 8 bolt, Kick stand spring breaks trip to the hardware store and replace with a heavier spring, nuts & bolts fall off trip to hardware store get replacements. But when the exhaust pipe broke completely off where it connects to the engine and the kick start lever won't open up, I called FamilyGoKarts for warranty replacements. Durning back and forth emails with Jeff (the support guy) I sent photos of the broken exhaust, bolt and kick stand spring. After 2 weeks of what appeared to be stalling from FamilyGoKarts I received an email on Friday afternoon stating none these parts would be covered warranty, and all had broken due to the way the bike was being ridden. Not really sure what they mean by this, the bike had only been in service for 2 months, ridden off road only in my yard and around the neighborhood on paved roads. I called trying to speak to Jeff, but apparently you can't get past the very rude lady that answers the phone to speak to anyone. While speaking to this lady she informed me that they do not cover the warranty, the manufacturer is who covers the warranty and who I should contact. I understand this but as a dealer wouldn't you be handling the warranty? And why are you selling me an extended warranty to 12 months? She would not give me a way to contact the manufacturer. To sum it up, you buy a new product from FamilyGoKarts with a 6-month warranty, buy the extended warranty to 12 months but you have no warranty at all and if you ride it, you're riding it wrong. This is a very shady company to deal with. If I could have left negative stars, I'd give them a negative 5-star rating.
This company loves to scam you out of your hard earned money and sell you cheap China garbage that they don't want to take back. They know they sell cheap crap that doesn't work. We have been talking to the idiot Jeff Backer for over 4 months and he keeps playing games and refuses to send a shipping label! Stay far away from these money grubbing jerks. Tried to get my credit card refunded and they lied and said they didn't send us a defective, dangerous product!!! I will sue the ever living sh** out of them if they don't take their dangerous China bullcrap back soon. Apparently Jeff is a Minnesota senator!!! Leave it to a politician to lie and cheat. People voted for this guy. Unbelievable.
If you're waiting for Amazon-like communication, forget it. It took a month to deliver and another month to receive my registration papers, but my product arrived safe and sound, is registered, and is working perfectly. I bought an Amigo scooter, so Family Go Karts did not send it to me directly, Amigo did. I received my Premium package in time too. Check what their responsibility is and the manufacturer's responsibility, search the internet for references and make your informed choice to buy here or not. It is up to you.
The Rhino 250 carb is tuned perfectly. The clutch and shifter are very good. The plastic panels and fenders are high quality. The shipping company was very professional. They called and sent text messages.I like how Tao Motors makes spare parts easily available.
we received our gocart- it took a bit longer than expected( we expected possibly 2 weeks from order date) and there is a tire we have to air up every time we ride it but it is a great product and my kids love it. thank you
I ordered a scooter the online order process is pretty easy but when I called to confirm they told me it was going to be a while because my selection wasn't in stock it took them about two and a half to three months to get it to me. The price on the website is not accurate they don't tell you about residential delivery fees until you've already placed your order then they hit you for another $125 after receiving my product it took them another month to get me the title and paperwork to register but on the other hand I love the scooter its great scooter love the process of putting it together myself. I would use them again I just wish they where a little more forthcoming about in stock items and fees associated with residential delivery!

Terrible customer service. Paid for scooter in full and having difficulty receiving title. They will not issue a temporary permit. Legally can't drive new scooter without license and title. They don't care. They won't give me tracking number. They won't reach out to manufacturer. I contacted State to help me and State reached out to Familygokarts. State employee followed up with me and said she was not treated kindly. Said "they just don't care". Don't buy here.
This atv has been a headache since it arrived. Bolts not tightened, bushings fallen out and familygokarts has not been helpful when I have tried to order replacement parts. I wish I had spent the little extra and bought a different brand of atv.
We ordered 2 ATVs that arrived almost 2 weeks after ordering and paying in full. Had we known we would have to practically put them completely together we would have had them delivered to a mechanic. We are not mechanics and have limited tools and knowledge. The one ATV that did have instructions - they were so awful and hard to follow. The second ATV had no instructions at all and there were no videos at the website for it. Missing and broken parts. Submitted service request and no the courtesy of any response. We had to deliver them to a mechanic at a cost of just about $400 to get them put together and fix what came broken. Truly disappointed buyers.
They have to be the most incompetant business I've dealt with in all my 64 years of living! They are disrespectful and don't care about you after you have given them your money! It's a family business and you can tell because all of the family are worthless to the company! They suck!
