Never done my taxes more quickly!
The interaction was straightforward and intuitive. Whenever a question came up, as they always do with tax return, the help button usually clarified things in a few sentences. If that was not enough, the live chat option on the expatfile homepage always put me in contact with a knowledgeable and patient helper. That was what made me decide to hit the pay button.

Their inteface must makes it so easy
Their inteface must makes it beyond easy. I submitted, and was rejected, They contacted me immediatly, i wrote my kids SS # incorrect. This is my second year using Expatfiles. I'm super happy I found them.

Smooth experience
This software, although pricey, gets smoother every year. The prompts are good. Your are reminded what you did last year. Deleting points no longer required seemed easier this year. It seems the developers have a good handle on the fact the user only uses this software once a year. They have somehow smoothed out the "wonder what I do next" conundrum which happen when one only uses this programme once a year.

Very straight forward and easy to file including FBAR. No surprise fees at the end either. Will use Expatfile going forward.

Wow that was easy
Wow that was easy! And maybe even a little fun? I never ever thought I would be able to say this about doing my taxes as an American dual citizen. Excellent user experience and really clear instructions and information.

highly recommend. Makes filing as a Dual national so much easier.
I struggled for years trying to file my own tax return. Then for a few years got a accountant. She stopped doing tax returns for UK nationals as it had got so time consuming so I panicked that I would have to go back to doing it myself. Found expatfile by googling it. WOW, I wish I had found it early. So easy to use and so quick.
